We have a special show for you this week! Once again we have Jack Mandaville on the show, only this time he's with us in-studio (he appeared on Ep.2). Jack was in town visiting California to film some stuff with Vet TV, so we got him on the show to talk about his Marine career, and 3 Iraq deployments. Jack describes himself as an ex-marine and Netflix aficionado with terrible self-esteem. He’s also a writer for Duffel Blog, star of the film “Range 15,” and the creator of many hilarious videos on Instagram and Facebook. Follow Jack on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. All three of us end up sort of going off the rails and telling war stories, boot camp stories, and whatever else. But it's actually pretty fun. We also discuss the government shutdown — which ended up being resolved the day after we recorded this show — and the military-social media culture and how it has changed over time. And at one point, we have a spirited discussion over avocado toast. I don't care what Max says. That stuff is delicious. Please do us a huge favor: leave us a review and subscribe to the podcast with your favorite podcast app, so you will be notified of future episodes.
