Great podcast. Love listening to Norelle!!

An Alright Podcast   (3/5)

This podcast is fine and really focuses more on interviews than research. You can tell the hosts are genuine and sincere, but it’s just not my favorite. It’s one of the first I’ve found that covers non-American crimes, which are always interesting and appreciated.

Awesome Listening Pleasure   (5/5)

I love listening to this podcast! I live in the United States, but I've always kept up with true crime in other places, and Australia is a favorite. I find the way Michel and Emily conduct their interviews to be so kind and full of humanity and funny when appropriate. I'm a vociferous reader, but I also listen to audiobooks many hours of the day (and night). I wish more of the writers would have audiobook versions, so maybe you would recommend that!! 😄

You are great!   (5/5)

I love your podcast!!! I think I heard about it from Cambo - yet, I’m not shure- I’m shure I heard about you guys from another one of my podcasts - you guys are great!!!! I am now binge listening 😜

Good On Ya!   (5/5)

In depth and heartfelt presentation of the who, what, when, where and (trying to figure out) why of the well-chosen cases. Always interesting and conversational, like you’re sitting down with some savvy acquaintances from down under. When you’re not in the mood for a lot of unnecessary gore, profanity and sarcasm tune in and you won’t be disappointed.

So genuine and kind.   (5/5)

Every time I listen, something stands out to me about your humanity. Just, you have guests that have spoken about how grief doesn’t just stop and go away. That when you lose someone you love dearly, they don’t disappear. I love how you state that things can get really awkward when people ask just normal questions or someone turns on a song and you just cry bc it mates you think of your child that died. I’m so honored by you ladies, by your humanity... it’s incredible:) that’s all. Five stars from me, most definitely!😍 Lydia

A different point of view   (5/5)

The interview format of the show means you learn something from each guest‘s area of expertise and point of view. The hosts ask intelligent questions and really get the best out of their guests.

Great interviews!   (5/5)

Love hearing firsthand experiences from professionals in the criminal justice system. Straight forward, compassionate storytelling.

Something different   (5/5)

There are a lot of true crime podcasts out there with the same format - just a host or hosts going through a case. Australian True Crime is a breath of fresh air. They interview detectives, experts, they get these people to tell their own stories and to talk about the psychology and work behind the scenes.

The delivery, facts, and story telling makes your podcast a joy to listen to. Just found you and I’m so glad that I did. I appreciate all the work that goes into the research which results in excellent questions to your guest. Keep up the great work!!

Smart, engaging   (5/5)

Intelligent, engaging hosts with great guests and interesting cases!

Absolutely Excellent!!!   (5/5)

I had this podcast in my group of crime podcasts but hadn't listened to it. At one point I had listened to all the others and thought I'd try this one. Wow it is so great and I couldn't believe that I haven't really heard anyone talk about it. Looking at all the episodes Waiting for me was like approaching a feast. Each one is excellent so please listen to one and see for yourself.

A refreshing approach to true crime podcasts   (5/5)

Really love this podcast ladies. The deep dive interview style approach is a refreshing change from most other true crime podcasts. You give us a real insight into a case and perhaps more powerfully the human side of the impact of crime. Keep up the great work!

Great job   (5/5)

Enjoyable!   (5/5)

Interesting and informative, love that accent! Everything one can ask for in a true crime podcast. Definitely one of my favorites. If you just want the story and no mindless banter, this is the one for you.

I listen to sooo many true crime podcasts and didn't plan on adding more. However, Meshel and Emily's podcast is one I am so glad I found! I love the different professionals they bring on to discuss different topics. Be sure to add it to your True Crime List!

True Crime   (5/5)

I love your views on crimeI as a male nurse like to work in study groups to come at compleadtle answer

Wonderful!   (4/5)

About the episode, My Sister, the Murderer. OH MY GOD I wanted to slap those women for giving in to that spoiled brat, manipulative psychopathic kid even at a young age. She should have been put in a home as a child instead of over indulged --- this episode, as honest as they were about it all, makes me realize there are some real messed up parents in the world. Instead of feeling compassion for them, for some reason I am infuriated and I am not sure why. Parents: If your kid is shunned by ohters in their class, not invited to parties, GET HELP!

Love it   (5/5)

I'm a true crime podcast junkie and love the format of this podcast, so interesting!!

Great podcast   (5/5)

I've only listened to 4 episodes so far, but I'm already loving the podcast. The content and interviews are great. You can tell that the hosts really care about what their guests are saying and show so much respect. The only negative about this podcast (which is not worth removing any stars for) is that sometimes the sound balance gets a little off so it can be hard to hear at times. Keep up the great work!

Brilliant   (5/5)

Lovely and thoughtful storytelling.

Fantastic!   (5/5)
