Quality is down lately   (2/5)

The last couple months the quality of the humor and programming is down significantly. It used to be funny

Seriously unfunny since the crisis began   (3/5)

This was a wonderfully witty show before the pandemic, but now it's forced and wretched. Such a shame - I'm out.

Four stars for the News Quiz. One star for everything else.   (3/5)

I grew up listening to the News Quiz with Barry Took and Giles Coren in the 1980s and 1990s. It was essential listening. From being a precocious teenager onwards into middle age, it has been a part of my life. The need for a satirical approach to the news, for a more critical interpretation of politician-speak and spin-doctor drivel. Sandi Toksvig was fantastic. Then there were the rotating guest hosts, some better than others of course. Look, I know I’m a privileged middle aged white bloke but... the recent incarnation of the News Quiz is just not that great. There just isn’t the charisma of the guests nor insight into the issues there used to be. But the News Quiz is comparatively light years ahead of the other programmes in the slot. The Now Show is just painfully unfunny and any other comedy shows they add between their runs just shows up how poor BBC Radio comedy is these days. Radio comedy used to be a lifeline during dark days and troubled times. Now it’s mostly an embarrassment of attention seeking shallow wannabe celebs and stand up comedians. Proper satire: we need you now more than ever! Where the heck are you?

I love it   (5/5)

I love comedy

Not nearly as funny as it used to be   (3/5)

With Sandy Toksvig in charge and Jeremy Hardy as one of the guests this used to be comedy gold. Miles Jupp who took over from Sandy always always stiff in his delivery but mildly funny. Angela Barnes just isn't funny at all. The programme isn't helped by the absence of funny guests. Sadly Jeremy Hardy has gone but bring back Andy Hamilton, Sue Perkins, Mark Steel, Susan Calman and Fred MacAulay. Thank goodness I kept some of the older episodes.

Hire talent not just from the same comedian pool   (3/5)

Another guest presenter who isn’t funny. Or even decent at allowing others to be.

HELP   (2/5)

I am pooped in my pants and my PENIS FELL OFF 😳😫🚫🍆

The Coronanow Show   (5/5)

Good job! Challenging to put together and edit, but very nicely done!

Best Ever   (5/5)

I’m rolling on the floor laughing.

Spot on   (5/5)

The Now Show is always topical, refreshing and with a unique take on the week’s events. Never fails to make me laugh...or at least smile a lot.

Great Show   (5/5)

As a US citizen this is my favorite comedy show despite the strange accents and references to Wellies, nappies and more. I am shocked by listeners who gripe. You don’t need to tune in if it disturbs you. Better than any USA shows of the type!

Miles Jupp, please come back!   (3/5)

Used to love this show, but quality has dropped. Old episodes, even if no longer topical, are still funnier. Suggestion: make Andrew Maxwell host & invite Mark Steel as a permanent guest.

Friday night PC Comedy   (1/5)

I used to listen to this religiously. Now its become a left wing religious podcast. There are only so many times you can call people stupid. Its actually very boring to just hear the same views each and every week.

Quit the background   (3/5)

Good, but the background people are very annoying.

Glad it’s back!   (5/5)

Really loving Nish as the host. His laugh is infectious and commentary is great!

Great way to unwind...   (5/5)

A brilliant comedic production with a diverse panel and AWESOME host! Topical, timely and outrageously funny in a nutty time in world history.

Friday night comedy   (5/5)

Love it! Gimme more!😉

The News Quiz went from Best to Worst   (1/5)

Nish Kumar is by far the worst presenter of the News Quiz ever. The show itself was an absolute weekly requirement but has degenerated into a hit and miss show with more misses than hits. The C list nonentities seem to have taken over. Suggest moving it to 5Live.

Why?   (4/5)

Why only once a week? We want more Please

Fun   (5/5)

Fun skits and commentary on the news and daily life. Writing & performing is top notch. Going to a BBC show taping is a great experience.

Eh   (3/5)

There are funnier shows. Also, S 55 E 6 is just bad.

British humor at it’s finest.   (5/5)

Political satire and commentary at a level above anything on the continent

More, More, More !!!! Phosphorus Bubbles   (5/5)

Pure Belly Laughs And Brexit !!!

I miss dead ringers   (5/5)

From the USA

News Quiz   (5/5)

I'm an American who uses the News Quiz to take my mind off our own political turmoil. I wish the show was an hour in lengh.

Would be 5, as long as LobbyLand is not on   (4/5)

Amazing Friday night comedy, news quiz is always top notch. But please, please no more Lobby Land.

Love it!   (5/5)

British political commentary/comedy, what more can you ask for! In these crazy times England’s issues translate across the pond!! Update 9/19: so happy the News Quiz is back!!! Other shows on this BBC app are not worth the listen, it should be the News Quiz all the time, 24/7!!!!!

Lobbyland?   (5/5)

Please no. My 5 stars are back now that Lobbyland is gone (please God for good) and News quiz is back!

Great, but...   (4/5)

The News Quiz (when available) is HYSTERICALLY funny, even for an American. The Now Show, very funny except when they shoehorn in a ‘serious’ segment despite the word ‘comedy’ being right in the title, and Lobby Land? Good idea. DESPERATELY tried to like it, but it’s unlistenable. The fact that the pod is basically batting .333, I’m giving 4 stars for the News Quiz alone.

Usually hilarious, recently unlistenable   (2/5)

I’ve been listening for years and typically can’t wait to download the podcasts when they become available on Fridays, but this new series, Lobby Land, is awful.

Lobby Land   (5/5)

one star is one too many.

Skip this for now ....   (1/5)

I’m not sure who commissioned this unfunny, poorly performed twaddle but it’s best skipped. The regular shows are far better....

Funny   (5/5)

Hilarious podcast miss being in England to hear all of the bbc content

Love Dead Ringer.   (5/5)

Ah what can we do without Boris? America thanks England for Trump wannabe half human, half golden retriever. Trump is not something you want to aspire to be Boris. Seriously. Throw the poor Sir Kim under the bus. That is so Trump.

Download problems   (4/5)

I also have major problems with download and it says not available for download - very very annoying ! Needs to be fixed !

Content vs tecnical   (3/5)

Love the shows, when I can get it, but more frequently the pods are not downloadable. Seems to happen most with Dead Ringers.

Download failure, multiple times   (5/5)

I have encountered an excessive number of download failures. Sometimes they complete the download and immediately indicate they have not downloaded. This is the only podcast that I have encountered this issue, all other podcasts download correctly. Disappointing since the Dead Ringers is a great show.

Wonderful wit and topical humour   (5/5)

Love this show!

Sort Of Funny   (2/5)

The canned laughter gets in the way. Sooooo annoying! And the volumr of it is rwice the volume of the actual show! Ugh! Love Frankie Boyle!

Unable to play   (1/5)

Love the BBC comedy series but for more than a month now, none of the episodes will play after being downloaded. PLEASE FIX!!!

Past tense   (2/5)

I remember when British comedy was funny. That was before becoming heavily infested by social justice wankers.

News Show rocks!   (5/5)

My five stars are all for the News Show. Fun and informative, I highly recommend.

A treat every Friday   (5/5)

Genuinely look forward to the release of this podcast every week. Consistently funny and quick. Miles Jupp is a well-suited host with a fantastic laugh, a great reward for any comedian.

The News quiz   (5/5)

5 stars when the News Quiz, not so many otherwise, spinoff the News Quiz please!!!!

Love The News Quiz   (5/5)

We love the News Quiz! When it goes off the air for a month, we are desperate for good comedy. Sandy was great! Miles is wonderful! Wish new episodes could be available every week. I guess it must be tough to keep the high level of comedy writing going week after week without a break. But it’s also tough to face the weeks without it!

A half hour of mirth   (5/5)

This podcast is one of my favorite weekend things. After a long week of concerning, boring, scary, or depressing news, The News Quiz/The Now Show give the news a much-needed lift. While one can get a bit lost if not steeped in British politics, it’s a great time anyway, much like the US’s “Wait, Wait! Don’t Tell Me!” And Canada’s “Because News”.

Used to be excellent but...   (1/5)

...recently it’s become a parade of sad unfunny SJW millennial comics endlessly complaining about the horrible plight of professional white women in western society.

Subscribe for the news quiz, zone out for the now show   (5/5)

Sorry but it’s really not even a competition

Love News Quiz   (5/5)

Though I miss Sandy, Miles and the panel are super funny.

The News Quiz is the best, but bad sound   (4/5)

Of all of the programs that fall under this title, The News Quiz is probably the most accessible to non-UK audiences. One big annoyances, though, is the terrible audio distortion that happens any time the audience laughs, and they laugh a lot.

Please bring back the news quiz!   (3/5)

I love this podcast but really is the news quiz. I would love to see it back in the lineup.

Now in reruns   (1/5)

One of my favorite podcasts now recycling old material from its least successful incarnation - nobody wants to hear imitations of 2016 news that didn’t happen.

July 14 episode error?   (4/5)

Why is this ep not available?

First Podcast I Listen to   (5/5)

I love this podcast. It's incredibly funny, especially the News Quiz. I've learned a lot about British and Eurozone politics and laugh at the take on U.S. foibles.

Very funny but way to political sometimes blocks the fun.   (3/5)

The cast can lean extremely tithe left. Not balanced comedians. Perhaps it goes with the job or with the bbc? But sometimes hilarious when not so grudgingly political complaining.

Cool show been a fan for 8 years   (5/5)

I don't understand what they are talking about but I've been a fan since 8 years ago in the USA :)

Too long answers   (3/5)

This is like Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me in its topics and I like that, but it feels like every answer is in the form of a paragraph and that makes them sound canned and the whole thing a bit too dry.

Rule Britannia!   (5/5)

I love the show! I wish it were the full hour.

Split this into separate feeds!   (3/5)

I love “The News Quiz” but don’t care for “The Now Show” or the other programs included in this feed. Please consider giving each show its own feed so people can subscribe to the programs they enjoy without wasting space and bandwidth downloading shows they’ll just immediately delete.

Funny and sharp   (5/5)

Excellent satirical comedy.

So funny   (5/5)

I’m American, but I love British comedy. It’s so witty and funny!

Current and on point   (5/5)

There is no better coedy podcast, period.

Hilarious.   (5/5)

Funny stuff! I look forward to each Friday's release.

Better than peanut butter   (5/5)

Love listening every week. I look forward to this without fail.

Love it!   (5/5)

As an American, I love listening in for a dose of amazingly funny updates about British/world politics, always with a great range of comedians and hosts!

Great Every Week   (5/5)

Doesn't matter the show on offer -- they are all fantastically funny.

It's ok.   (3/5)

You have to sift through a lot of dirt to find a particle of gold.

Love it   (5/5)

Never fails to make me laugh while still offering good commentary on what's happening in the world today

Love the Now Show and News Quiz   (4/5)

The Now Show and the News Quiz are great! Only took one star off because the other shows sometimes featured are not as good.

painfully funny!   (5/5)

look forward to this all week. clever and funny and impossible not to laugh. a great antidote to how desperate most of the news is.

Better than Prozac   (5/5)

Laughed so hard my stomach hurt! Witty and fast paced. I am from U.S. - nothing here is a match for British humor. A must listen!

Left wing and lame   (1/5)

BBC leftys run amok.

Wow   (1/5)

Contrived premises milked dry. Poor comic timing. Horrible impressions- especially their North American dialects. Seems like a team hired by stuffy executives who don't know what funny is but then, I don't know nor care to learn the backstory. Stop podcasting. You're embarrassing yourselves.

Intolerance at its best.   (1/5)

Very hateful and bigoted show appealing only the snuggest of social justice warriors. Goes beyond poking fun with good humor and demonizes the common and popular beliefs of anyone who isn't "progressive".

Totally Up Itself, Unfunny Predictable Pap   (1/5)

This show is so utterly irritating now. It's supposed to be comedy but has left that behind along time ago to become a smug-fest of London-leftie-lovies. The worst offender is the regular panelist called Jeremy Hardy will pontificate adenoidally about the latest liberal issue-du-jour by sneering at anyone who may have a different opinion, all the time managing to avoid any humour at all but trying to find anything negative to say about the US possible...this is the way it will go all through. Damned annoying.

Unsubscribed after Long Time Subscription   (1/5)

Mean spirited, anti-American, ignorant, spiteful and unfunny. Brits pontificating about American politics, of which they know nothing. Let them try to stand on their own two feet without this country. The Queen's Corgis won't even save them.

Terribly funny   (5/5)

I only wish it were longer. Very witty, knowledgeable Brits (mostly) though Scot Susan Calman is a standout. They have their finger on the pulse of the latest news and politics on both sides of the pond. Love, love love!

Very funny   (5/5)

The best way for a casual American viewer of British politics to learn the personalities of British political figures.

Terrific content, TERRIBLE mixing   (4/5)

This would be my favorite podcast ever, except that the sound mixing is so terrible that I can barely listen to it. If I turn the volume up loud enough to hear the comedians, the audience applause is deafening. There’s no way to listen to it at my desk at work without putting my speaker up to my ear or ticking off my coworkers. It takes five minutes to compress and equalize, BBC, please give this terrific podcast the Mixing 101 it deserves.

Eagerly awaited every week   (5/5)

Love the 'Now Show' now love this BBC show, too. Some of the jokes and impressions are a stretch for a colonial commoner and I sometimes feel left out while the grown ups have a private joke.( I imagine it would be be same for someone from the UK listening to 'The Capiltol Steps'.) But what fun regardless.

Brexit was worth it   (5/5)

The two post-Brexit shows alone will justify the trouble Brexit causes.

If this is the cream, please pass the sour milk   (2/5)

Occasional moments of comedy are obscured by smug Brits attempting to make clever comments about American politics--which they aren't quite clever enough to understand.

lame arse views   (1/5)

the They Hate America Show!

2 Different Shows, Both r Funny   (4/5)

The News Quiz & the Now Show take turns in multi-week seasons. Fortunately both shows are very funny. It helps if you know the very basics of UK politics, but you don't have to be an expert to enjoy it.

Excellent but only half the time   (4/5)

The news quiz is wonderful, even since sandy left, but the now show really isn't worth listening to.

Broken but brilliant   (4/5)

This is one of my favourite podcasts but lately whoever uploads the audio file has bolloxed it. Now the podcast has a setting set wrong and it can’t be downloaded because I don’t have 'permission'! Hello BBC! Anyone home?

British Wait Wait   (4/5)

I'm reminded of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me on NPR.

U.S. Listener   (5/5)

I subscribe to both this podcast and NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me for the same reason. Both weekly shows offer a comedic take on the week's news and serve the dual purpose of not only testing how closely I've paid attention to current events, but also rewarding me with the wonderfully entertaining hosts and guests and inside jokes that I'll only get if I've "done my homework." I especially love Sandy's news quiz as I love her intelligence and her sense of humor.

Superb   (5/5)

Most listeners will not know that two versions of this brilliant show exist:the unedited can be heard live from the bbc 4 site ( I use my streamium at the moment), and the regular is what the podcast subscribers get.unedited is superior. Also, wait wait is not a patch on Sandi and co and the best comedy I heard recently was some tony Hancock redone because the original broadcasts have no known recordings, and the result is brilliant.outside of Spike in anything but especially the Q series, and Python,British comedy is the best; witness the work of Douglas Adams.Do yourself a favor, listen to Brit comedy;it's funny, and BBC 4 the best

Funny, even for a Yank   (5/5)

I'm an American, yet fancy myself to be a bit of an Anglophile. I loom forward to it every Friday, an even though I'm not the most knowledgeable on UK politics, but I get most of the jokes, on the account that I follow Jeremy Clarkson on twitter:).

Friday Night Comedy with Sandy Toksvig   (5/5)

It was off for awhile and now it is back. I missed Sandy & her gang of hilarious miscreants and misfits. Funny, smart comedy.

Look forward to it every week   (5/5)

Funny, smart and informative. Manages to make me smile about topics which usually just make me mad.

I love Sandi Toksvig   (5/5)

This is one of the funniest news quiz shows out there. A little bit of the UK every Friday.

I Adore This Podcast   (5/5)

Switches off between The News Quiz and The Now Show. I prefer the former, but I'm happy to get the both outside of the UK. Very entertaining, big production value, extremely LOUD fanfare at the start, be warned not to blow speakers.

Love the news quiz   (5/5)

WHERE'S THIS FRIDAYS ( Aug 9th) NEW QUIZ???? I can't wait until next Fridays episode. I need it NOW!!!!!!!

Sandi Toksvig is fantastic   (5/5)

The News Quiz is hilarious, Sandi Toksvig and her guests always lead a great and entertaining discussion on current events. The Now Show is awful.

Separate The Now Show from The News Quiz!   (4/5)

I love The News Quiz but I can't stand The Now Show. I really don't see why they need to be same podcast. It can't possibly be so difficult to make them unique podcasts so people who don't want one don't need to waste iPod space storing it.

Fantastic show   (5/5)

The News Quiz is brilliant and really makes my day when it shows up in the download queue... But, Friday May 17th, 2013..... no update?

Very funny   (5/5)

Sandy is the best. Very funny podcast. Can't wait for the next episode.

Inevitably funny and educational   (5/5)

What is there to say? Whether the Now Show or the News Quiz, it's a fair bet that by the end of each week's episode, I'll be laughing so hard I have to expend real effort not to fall out of my chair.

+1 for News Quiz and Now show   (5/5)

I love the news quiz and the now show. Chain Reaction is boring.

More laugh track, please!!!   (4/5)

Please, I know you're trying your best, but is there anyway you could squeeze in MORE canned laughter? There's a lot in your podcast, but it still isn't enough. Thanks, XOXOXO

News quiz please!!!! Not Now show   (5/5)

All the rest are rarely funny or clever. Please give us a year of Sandy et alia More Caitlin Moran! She's wonderful, she plus News Quiz would be glorious . Can't believe that the review displayed only 2 stars when I thought I had put five -5! Again, please have them on year round!!!

News quiz !   (5/5)

The News Quiz please! And nothing but the News Quiz! Sandy & company are a delight'

5 stars for The News Quiz   (5/5)

Not a big fan of the Now Show, but god, I love the news quiz. Sandy Tockszsveg (or however you spell it) is fabulous!

Chain Reaction is terrible...Give us the Quiz Show or the Now show   (5/5)

Please please get rid of chain reaction. It's NOT comedy. Give us the News quiz or the Now Show but dump Chain Reaction.

A pleasure every week.   (5/5)

Smart and funny!

The Now show - Unfunny, untalented, uninteresting   (1/5)

This is the second time I have patiently tapped out this review on my I-touch because the first time my finger slipped and everything disappeared , thank you Apple. What I wanted to say is that the Now Show is a feeble student agit prop waste of time that just fills in the bits when Sandy and Jeremy are on holiday. It is beginning to sound as if there are more people in the cast than in the audience. If this bunch of losers is the best the BEEB can do when you have all those talented jokers in your government you should get it written in china where everything else is made. An embarrassing blot on the British comedy scene.

Repeats 8 and 15 June 2012 the same program   (5/5)

Working now

Repeat from last week!   (2/5)

Someone must have accidentaly done something, the podcast tonight is a rerun from the week previous!

Love it!   (5/5)

Can't get enough of this show.

Absolutely brilliant   (5/5)

You just cannot beat British humour.

Most of the Time, it is Good; but Does Shine Sometimes   (4/5)

For the most part, this podcast is good, and usually makes me chuckle. There are times that I do not get some of the humor, but those times are extremely few. There are more times though that make me truly laugh with such force, I get strange looks from family.

Separate the shows!   (3/5)

This show would be infinitely better if they'd separate the News Quiz and the Now Show. Even as an American I find the News Quiz to be quite funny; much like Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me (no, I don't know which came first.) The Now Show, however, is one of those god-awful, overdone, not particularly funny British sketch comedies with 20 writers that I wish would just go away. I haven't been listening long enough to know how often you get either show but I get ill when my podcast update shows the Now Show instead of the quiz. PLEASE either dump the Now Show or give us the News Quiz ina separate podcast!

More "News Quiz"   (5/5)

Both shows are good but "The News Quiz" is the clear winner. The show is topical and funny as only the British can do it.

News Quiz   (5/5)

Love the show & Sandi T & the gang

This is what WWDTM should be   (4/5)

In the US we gave a news quiz on PBS called Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. WWDTM was a favorite if mine until I discovered the News Quiz. Keep up the great work please. PS How about no more Xmas specials

Amazing show   (4/5)

Keeps me up to date while entertaining and informative. Excellent delivery. Thanks

The Now Show   (5/5)

Bring back The Now Show please!

Love the News Quiz, like the Now Show   (4/5)

The Friday Night Comedy Podcast has three shows in rotation. The one I adore is the News Quiz with Sandi Toksvig and I would give that 5 stars. Toksvig and her guests are so witty, incisive and quick. It's delightful. It's sort of like a British version of "Wait Wait Don't Tell Me", the PRI comedy news quiz show. The Now Show is also very entertaining, featuring news related satire and comedic songs.

Yes, yes, yes!   (5/5)

The beloved News Quiz is BACK.

Where have the good shows gone?   (1/5)

What on earth is this 'Chain Reaction' show? It's utter rubbish. I miss the News Quiz and The Now Show. Thank goodness it ends this week. Please don't ever bring it back!

Chain Reaction is a disappointing replacement   (1/5)

I have listened to and delighted in the News Quiz (and even its poor shadow cousin every Friday night). With the Now Show, that poor cousin, at least I could bear with it knowing the News Quiz would be back. But Now Chain reaction disappoints on every level. Maybe call the title to the podcast Friday Night Boredom? At least give us the Minute Show in it's place, at least something MILDLY amusing.

Miss the newsquiz   (5/5)

Please bring back the news quiz & the sandy Gsng..I promise not to even complain about those horrible (comics/loud boors) Sue Perkins & Carrie Quinlan!

Bring back, bring back...   (5/5)

Oh bring back the News Quiz to me, to me! What is this Chain Reaction nonsense? If I wanted an interview show I'd download one! At least the Now Show has its moments -- this isn't even the same genre!

News Quiz yes; Now Show not so much.   (5/5)

Chain Reaction is miles above the abysmal The Now Show, but please bring Sandy back!

Where o where is The News Quiz?   (3/5)

Going through withdrawal. Please bring back The News Quiz!

Sandi, Sandi, Sandi, where are you???   (5/5)

I am missing the News Quiz! Please bring Sandi & Jeremy back...my life without laughter is no life at all.

Awesome   (5/5)

Now that I'm an expatriate listener it's great to relive the Friday drive home - laughing out loud. I love both shows - keep it up please :)

news quiz 5 stars; now show 1   (3/5)

please, please, please offer the news quiz separately or ditch the now show.

Great comedy   (5/5)

Love the News Quiz, that gets 5 stars. Let's have more of that and less of The Now Show which is not terribly funny.

Hilariously informative!!   (5/5)

I've been meaning to brush up on my British politics for my international business and this is an excellent way to get a true reflection of the issues of the day!!! I can't wait to share it with my clients and.....wait, what do you mean it's a political satire?!! Really!!? I thought it was a real news show!!! Anyways, The News Show with Sandy and Jeremy is the best!!! I've become such a a fan I now go online to search for videos of the show and all its stars. As a matter of fact, I think the podcast should be in video form too!! The Now Show is also very funny. Both are the best in comedy iTunes has to offer.

Delightfully done   (5/5)

There are few things more entertaining than English wit. Thanks for the chuckles!

Quick wit   (5/5)

Perhaps the quickest wit I've ever heard. Brilliant and LOL funny.

Vibrant, smart comedy!!!!!!!!   (5/5)

I LOVE this brilliant, witty podcast! I just wish it was longer. No one can do comedy like the Brits!

The Best Satirical News Show EVER!!!   (5/5)

The News Quiz is literally by far the best podcast ever!!! I always look forward to Fridays with so much anticipation! (A little less while they're on break and the Now Show is running but that one is good as well.) My only wish is that there was a US version but it may not be as good as the original. Maybe same cast just with US headlines.

Dump the now show   (4/5)

Love the News Quiz. But please in the name of all that's holy dump the shrill scripted braying of the Now Show. I'd rather hear repeats of Sandi and the gang.

Prefer News Quiz, but would love both 2B year round   (5/5)

Thanks for posting the march 18 episode. I was beginning to think it was pre-emptied for Libya coverage.

Where's this week's episode?   (5/5)

Missing it ... Please upload it!

Love this!   (5/5)

I have to agree with these rave reviews, even though since I am not British I miss some of the jokes. I really look forward to listening to the podcast. I am a little worried to see this week the podcast is not up right away again ( like last week). Please keep sharing this as a podcast!!!!

Great all the time   (5/5)

I must say, both the news quiz AND the now show are top notch - really terrific. I just want to know why this week's episode isn't up yet...

More NewsQuiz please!   (4/5)

Please please please! More News Quiz & Now Show - they are brilliant!

Love the now show!   (5/5)

Glad the now show is back... it's good to have variety.

Love love love News Quiz, please stop bothering me with the Now Show   (1/5)

Oh no, The Now Show is back.

Can't download   (2/5)

Can't download Déc. 17th Podcast on iPod touch????

The Now Show   (1/5)

The News Quiz is exceptional and it's depressing when The Now Show returns. It actually makes me sad. Unfortunately, The News Quiz alternates with The Now Show every six weeks or so. TNS is not very good at all. Perhaps it suffers by comparison, but there's something very dated about The Now Show. It's stuck in a stale Footlights / 90's Alt Comedy format and it's all a bit sad. Well past it's Sell By Date. The News Quiz, on the other hand, is classic British satire. Never anything less than smart, sharp and hilarious. Jeremy Hardy is a rare treat. Just stop making The Now Show. It's not good enough.

Love it!!!   (5/5)

It is the best humor podcast out there. FYI the news quiz, now show, and that's why they call it the news are rotated as they are not year round productions. I love the alternation and all the shows are awesome.

OK but I prefer the news quiz   (4/5)

The show is good but some times they are "stretching" for material. The News Quiz was topical and I found the cast members easy to relate to.

News Quiz Great....other not so much   (4/5)

Sandy Toksvig and team are great. The Now Show is terrible. They seem to alternate every 6 weeks.

My Favorite Podcast   (5/5)

Like other reviewers, I adore the News Quiz and used to be irritated when it was replaced by the Now Show. But lately it has been laugh-out-loud funny. I recommend both.
