I’ve been listening to this podcast for a few weeks. Follow both of these women online. I love the perspectives. Also it’s really cool to see how they interact as friends with quite different personalities and life experiences. It’s clear that they learn a lot from each other and that’s very touching. Friendship goals!
I have been working through eating disorder recovery for two or so years, and I am so happy to hear the discourse in episode one. I strongly believe in talking about disordered eating and diet culture, as it can help normalize the struggle and allow people to reach out for help. There are other people like you and recovery/health depends widely on personal circumstance. Finding peace with food is hard and even so far down the road, I always have questions and fears that I’m doing something wrong or I that would be happier if I restricted my eating. Thank you so much for discussing this and allowing me a little piece of mind today! I look forward to hearing more from you and sharing you with my RDN/LDN!
The first episode was such an informative episode. I’ve recently started acknowledging my disordered eating and found so much validation and comfort hearing your experience. To hear that I CAN eat normally again and it WILL eventually become natural and not surrounded by anxiety is rejuvenating. Can’t wait to listen to more topics. #subscribed 😃
I really enjoyed this podcast and can't wait to hear more. Even though I consider myself recovered from an eating disorder, the first episode was a good reminder that if your body is craving something, let yourself eat it! I'm excited to hear more body positive talk, as well as other topics--listening to Michelle and Amalie is a bit like eavesdropping on a delightfully fun conversation. Would recommend to anyone wanting to feel more positive in their body :)
