Aggregated reviews for Lineker & Baker: Behind Closed Doors

'Lineker & Baker: Behind Closed Doors' will be a new regular show full of the intimate details of life in and around the game.If you’re looking for analysis of the weekend’s action, look elsewhere. This show will tell dressing room tales and green room stories from Gary and Danny’s time in football and broadcasting.Irreverent, at times preposterous, 'Behind Closed Doors' sees Gary Lineker abandon his usual role as chief interrogator. Instead he joins Danny Baker in a romp through life in the English game.

Great chat (5/5)

As a Brit living in USA this little broadcast is a great way to catch up with two of my heroes. Danny from Morning Edition radio show in the nineties and Gary, scored a few goals. Enjoyable recollections and not just recaps from recent games this show is short, chemistry is good and the subscription is well worthy of the fee.

Chemistry not there (2/5)

Although I like Gary in Match of the Day and Danny Baker separately, for some reason there just isn’t chemistry between these two. It’s hard to define it but it’s there with Robbie Savage’s and Freddie Flintoff on their podcast and also with Peter Crouch on his. Maybe it will take time as I’ve only listened to the first two but I found myself looking at the clock in both episodes.

Great show (5/5)

The perfect partnership. I can't wait to hear more of these.
