Aggregated reviews for No Such Thing As A Fish

A podcast from the QI offices in which the writers of the hit BBC show huddle around a microphone and discuss the best things they've found out this week. Hosted by Dan Schreiber (@schreiberland) with James Harkin (@jamesharkin), Andrew Hunter Murray (@andrewhunterm), and Anna Ptaszynski (#GetAnnaOnTwitter)

Facts, facts, facts! (5/5)

A veritable hailstorm of hilarious facts from the researchers behind the show QI. Everything you didn’t know you should know. Fun and entertaining!

So...where are the episodes? (1/5)

I love QI and was ready to listen to this from start to finish but, whoops, episodes 2-52 are missing. No problem! There's a sound clip that -- according to its own description -- is supposed to "explain" why these episodes are missing, so I go ahead and listen to that. But I never get an explanation. Instead I'm referred to a website, with the implication that *this time you'll get your explanation, on the website!* Let me get this straight, you go to the trouble of recording a sound clip and telling me that it is supposed to explain something, but you can't be bothered to actually put the explanation in it? Oooookay... So I visit the website. Not surprisingly, there's no explanation there either. In fact, it just has the same incomplete list of episodes. Not a great start I'm afraid. Be honest, and I will give this an honest listen.

Wonderful (5/5)

This is one of the best, if not the best, podcast ever. It is both hilarious and interesting and I have trouble keeping from bursting out laughing when I listen at work. Excellent pronunciation of Kebnekaise btw. // Devoted listener from Sweden

My all time favourite podcast (5/5)

Simply the most interesting and entertaining podcast around! Love the Elves (especially Anna - your the best!), their facts, jokes and random banter. Thanks for teaching me so many great nuggets of information and helping me feel connected to the UK over here in Sweden.

This is the most clever podcast there is and it is amazingly funny. And you get to learn really interesting facts as well. Don't miss this one.

The best! (5/5)

One of my absolute favourites. If you like facts and humour I don't think that there is a better podcast out there.

I LOVE this podcast (5/5)

I even baught the first 50 eps (LP) because I simply could not get enough. The hosts are really funny and you WILL learn a lot listening. Wish I lived in the UK so I could go to the live recordings.

My favourite podcast for sure (5/5)

I don’t understand why I never listened to it before. After all, I love QI as a show, and I am a sucker for really random information. Last week I decided to give it a try and I’ve now spent the last few days listening to every single episode, usually while doing a few jigsaws. And it has been awesome. It is just so thoroughly enjoyable listening to people who sound genuinely excited about everything, while also cracking bad jokes and having a good time. It makes me really happy. And as I said: I love random bits of information like this. And it’s always great when they say something, that apparently most of the elves around the microphones haven’t heard about, and I already know about it.
