Love her Master Class. I want her to be our Commander In Chief!
Great people, but do a deeper dive. Longer interviews please.
I feel so lucky to have all your wonderful and interviews especially your 2 part series on yourself. Ok...loved the one with Gail as well. ❤️❤️❤️ I wish you all the best. You are truly making a difference and I thank you.
Greatness, I have walked away from each Master Class knowing I invested my time wisely. Each host reflects on life experiences, good and bad. What a great resource this has become for me. Thank you for making the time and sharing the insights of true Masters!
Spiritual growing is destroyed be arrogance and self appointed “doctors” pumping up their ego while spewing messages for profits that literally will lead to physical and spiritual destruction of others. He is not an intelligent person is is an self centered hater that hides behind a smile. When you reach that place where you must choose compassion and giving or selfishness and self centeredness choose wisely as you move a step toward grace or a leap into disgrace. Mr. McGraw made his choose freely and now his path has been altered by his own making.
When I listen to a podcast I want to gain knowledge or insight that is often missing in my life. However with the rise of "internet gurus" who write a book or have a podcast on subjects they know nothing about it's become scarce to find true experts. Oprah takes out the work through this Master Class series and ensures that you're always listening to conversations with experts on their field. Highly recommended for anyone interested in expanding their knowledge and perspective.
I watched most of these on OWN. I come back to listen while I try to go to sleep because I can’t bear to listen to the current horrifying news after hearing it all day. These give me comfort. Do more!!!
Listening to each of these episodes makes me so excited that these moments are recorded for the rest of time. The podcasts serve as time capsules for those fortunate enough to have been featured before their passing. Keep wondering if Kobe was on the list. What a joy that would have been for his family and for all who mourn his passing. You, Oprah, are a master.
Has anyone else noticed there are ZERO Asians represented? I didn’t check on other backgrounds but I find this to be consistent with Oprah. I love her, she’s my church, but please Oprah, I’m desperate to hear of some Asians who’ve gone past cultural programming and societal barriers to be where they are. I need to see others who look like me doing unconventional things to believe that more is possible.
The episode with Maya Angelou has been life changing for me. I have listened to it multiple times and shared it with friends and family. Oprah’s own personal story has also been especially inspiring to me and has helped me to look for God’s hand in my life and start to realize my own purpose and journey. I love the mantra of “Your Life is a Class” and am grateful that this podcast is helping me discover that!
I listened to this and immediately forwarded it to my adult daughters, my husband, and other people I love. I wanted them to experience it and be brightened and calmed by it as I was. In my opinion, another masterpiece with Billy Bob Thornton involved. Insightful, from the heart and endearing.
When you don’t hear the interviewer and just the guest talking it sounds like a person reading from a book. Oprah, learn from “How I built this” podcast. That’s how it should be done.
Why is Oprah promoting poison as pharmaceutical drugs? Until this stops, I don’t trust a word she says. Seriously compromised integrity here. Listen to The Vaccine Conversation.
Almost all of these people are actors and singers. Can’t we find more inspiring masters? Perhaps you could talk with thinkers, authors, astronauts, doctors, business people? Add more diversity to your line up Becoming a famous actor is a very specific type of master. And there are a lot more noble pursuits
Being able to hear how these amazing celebrities we adore deal with normal life struggles and how they overcome those struggles is truly inspirational. I love to hear about the drive and the dedication they put into their craft. Thank you Oprah!
Hey if your wondering just listen. This is a great podcast
May 2019 was the last episode. Will this podcast be back in 2020?
Simply amazing!! I give thanks for her wisdom and humility. Listening to powerful women like this re-energizes the soul. Thank you Oprah!!!
Someone please take my phone cause I wrote the wrong review on the wrong page. That’s why my butt should be working lol
I love this podcast. Kevin Hart was soooo funny I had to pull my car over and laugh! I appreciate that the guest are telling their stories and not being interviewed.
I haven’t seen a new episode since May? I miss them! When will a new episode be available?
Great interviews I learn something new all the time.
When I heard you were not allowed in the house and had to sleep out on the porch, I could not help but to cry. I too grew up as an unwanted child and I know exactly how you must have felt. It is unthinkably painful. You though say that you made an amend with your mother by having your own unwanted non connected child, I believe the pain was real and affected your life tremendously. I chose not to have children because I was afraid I will be like my mom and create another human being who would have to go through the same terrible pain I had to go through. I don’t regret it til this day for the choice I made. I have long ago forgiven my mother but I have not forgotten what she has done to me physically, mentally and emotionally. It took me a long time to rediscover my true self. There was not enough time or energy to raise a child when I myself was not even truly born yet. Now I am a fully grown up woman but too late for having children and help other people’s children and doing my best to bring the beauty to the world as an artist. I thank you for your opening up to larger public. I now feel stronger. That is what teachers do to make student more confident and assured. You are a true teacher.
People can be broken down into two categories. Rah rah Oprah people or rah rah Ellen people. I’ll take you every single time Oprah. After being attacked at 96’s Lilith Fair by a group of women who despised men I’ve never been the same. It was very scary 🕯...say hi to Stedman form me and if you’re ever looking for a younger replacement I’d be happy to oblige. Always wanted to be a kept man. Lastly, you get sexier the older you get ☝️👋 🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯🕯 -Les Couchon- 💄🐷🍒👠
The simplicity of these episodes is so lovely. At first I thought it was strange that they didn’t follow a normal Q
Maya Angelou Episode made me cry.
Very hard to hear her say that ‘nobody wants to go to war’. There were nothing but war hawks in her era in Washington DC.
She is so incredibly impressive and a broad thinking and caring American.
I love the life stories shared by so many different people. It’s like listening to your grandma, or someone special, sharing for encouragement. I enjoy these and hope for more!
I love hearing directly from the guest. No interruptions and hearing them tell their stories is wonderful. Thank you. This forum just works really well.
I LOVE this podcast! It’s so inspiring and so cool to hear people’s stories of how they “made it”.
So humbling to listen to so relatable and Sling Blade was one of my all time favorites for its intensity
Everything is amazing on this channel I just love it ❤️
I began listening and immediately was grateful for Oprah’s Master Class! Thank You, Oprah!
One of my favorite shows, now one of my favorite podcasts! I love that we ‘regular’ humans gain advice and insight from celebrities we know and admire through the podcast.
This is such a wonderful podcast! Each one I’ve listened to has had a powerful lesson. One that can only be learned through maturity and circumstances. I hope these continue! They really inspire me to keep going in my career and otherwise!
This is the best thing that can happen to TV and the podcast App!👍
This is my favorite Oprah podcast and really some of her best work. Each guest is just so inspirational and I love hearing about their life from their voices. I hope it’s just on a break!
Excellent podcast. Fabulous lessons. Live the format and allowing the guests to just talk without the interruptions of questions. More time to hear what they want to share. Well done Oprah. Thank you.
A very classy podcast. A wide variety of guests. Love that the guests do most of the talking, and that Oprah just does a short intro and summation. Her guests are very inspirational and interesting. I love that they have overcome the challenges that have been thrown at them, and become stronger people because of the trials they get through.
Thank you for this. There is a treat in every interview. Very well edited too. Are there more? Somehow I’m not receiving them for a while now.
The art of listening and letting the guest carry the interview. So many gems of wisdom and to Oprah’s point...everyone’s life has lessons to share. We’re each other’s teachers and this is what we need, guides. So good!!
I am amazed at the extent of openness from the Masters in each episode. I learned the hardcore experiences of successful individuals and realized that all challenges are opportunities for growth. Thank you for the valuable lessons of each episode.
It's been months. I enjoy these so much. More please!!
My morning routine, love listening it in the gym or while driving , getting motivated and learning about those super interesting people everyday! Thank you Mrs.Oprah, well done as always🙏🏽👌🏽👏🏽❤️
I am so taken by the degree to which each individual shares their journey. Several I have listened to twice - and I’ve certainly shared many. Really honest, open and generous, honestly. The world is indeed flat - despite what we think. All just human.
World Peace? Oprah for president! Please?!
I really enjoy learning from others but all I see is hard core liberals on this podcast, is there no one else that is amazing to share their story? Don’t we want to hear from all amazing people?
Inspiration Powerful Ground breaking Insightful perspective Engaging Motivating This podcast gives me all of this and more !!
I saw the TV broadcast of BBT’s Master Class. I also just listened to the podcast. He is one of my favorite actors. I became a fan after seeing “One False Move”. Loved his eroticism in Monsters Ball. Hearing about the personal side gave me a profound respect for the actor. It’s refreshing to know that he lives a fairly simple life amid the Hollywood machine. I’m looking forward to seeing his current and future works. Thanks MC.
The few programs were great. Most of the guests have always a lot to teach. Their examples are inspiring. Their example of struggle and success are tools for anyone. Need more of those.
No podcasts since May 2019.
Ive heard her name all of these never really knew women behind the name. I sat and listened attentively and heard and felt everything she said with such grace and assertion. The credit she gave her humble parents. The credit she gave to the struggles that made her strong. The credit she gave to her family for allowing her to assert her decision making...which helped her grow into the leader she is today. . She is a true force. Love the part where is open to listen to any opinion brought forth but only if one has done their homework. Like the Abe Lincoln quote on being thought of as a fool...Thank you for sharing.
I feel as though I’m sitting right beside each leader as they describe their unique family circumstances in their formative years, personal struggles, and triumphs to make it to where they are now. There is much wisdom to be gained from their wide range of experiences & it never seems easy for any of them. It’s one thing to read about these legends, and a whole other thing to feel their authenticity in their impassioned voices. I love this podcast!!
Amazed, I always believed in God or source what ever you decided. The part I have learned after listening to all these wonderful, beautiful humans. Is that we are all the same so much heart so much Love . We all want to make an impact a positive one. I work at a place that I am able to wear my earphones. Therefore, I have been able to listen to a lot of humans on master class. We all have a story and most of us it is a horrible, painful one. I was kidnapped and raped at the age of 13. Listening to the stories gives me confirmation that forgiveness is power. It is our super power as humans that source has guven us. I am a healer and I am so happy, at times im just ok. One thing is for sure that I am grateful, thankful for my life. We are all the same hold on to Gods hand and listen to that though that is God within you........ In Jesus name.....Oprah Thank You for Master Class you are so beautiful ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
I really enjoy this podcast. I enjoy hearing the backstories behind the people you see reaching very high levels of success. Most came from very humble beginnings. Most came from homes headed by single moms, or raised by grandparents. I enjoy hearing how these experiences shaped the person. It should give us all hope that we can accomplish the things we work toward....and we can raise children to do the same. People complain that it's like an interview with the interview questions cut out and that's true. It's like sitting by a fireside hearing a chat by a person ruminating over their life. I think it's great. Oprah's 2 episodes about her own life are my VERY FAVORITE episodes. I've listened to them a few times and am completely inspired by her life's accomplishments. If you don't enjoy hearing people's stories, this podcast won't be for you. If you're looking for some teaching moments, this won't be for you either. But if you think there's value in every person's journey and you enjoy hearing childhood stories, stories of heartbreak and pain, hearing how people overcome drug addictions - sometimes multiple times - if you enjoy listening to all the events that combined to make the person you see projected on the screen or through music, this is a great podcast for that.
Thank you Dr. M. I find your podcast extremely helpful. Your voice is so soothing and your professional insights are both practical and profound. I enjoy the format, and the the brief podcasts. I find the timeframe the perfect nugget to digest during my busy day. Also, I enjoy hearing others letters... we are so much more alike than we think and you reading their letters helps me feel like part of a community, both struggling and working to heal, together.
Awesome podcast! Very insightful and inspiring to hear everyone’s journey.
This podcast I shared because Her story revealed that she is very humane.
Thank you Oprah! So inspiring, so fascinating, funny, all of it. It’s literally the exact thing I needed in my life.
Missing the next Master Class podcast!! I so look forward to each Thursday for the next episode. I learn so much from all of these stories Oprah and absolutely love them!! Is the season finished?
This podcast gives us all some perspective that everyone’s life is more than meets the eye. Hearing their authentic stories the long way brings famous, accomplished, and seemingly extraordinary people down to earth a bit. What a fantastic feeling to be able to relate to another person, period. Love it.
Very inspiring when I found myself discouraged and compromising this shifted my perspective.Love you Oprah
Both were super good. I was shocked to hear such sensitivity come from billy bob. He’s very smart and very grounded. Goldie hawn is just as I remember her from laugh in such a happy spirit
I really enjoy hearing just about anyone’s story, but this podcast is mainly about actors who were born into or fell into the entertainment industry. I’d love to hear from someone about the process of mastering an art-form or training for a great accomplishment. We know that many people ‘get lucky’ but where’s the master class element? These are just anecdotes from famous people.
I love how the podcasts are put together, edited so it sounds like one long story and not a Q&A. Well-curated content of inspiring individuals!
It is the best part of my day to treat myself when I do my morning walks, to listen to these extraordinary people talk about their lives. Without exception, they inspire me to continue to do my best to do the most with what I have been given. Thanks Oprah!
The Oprah’s masterclass definitely genius, and very relatable!!
I love the people that are on this podcast but I feel like Oprah missed an opportunity to use her connection skills to talk to people because you can tell they’re not together having a conversation. In the first 2 episodes she talks about how that’s her gift and why she stopped doing newscasting. Still a good listen though.
I love this podcast. so much truth is presented. it even helps to ground me when i feel i have gone astray of the path laid for me. thank you Oprah for helping me and so many others.
Goldie Hawn’s episode is by far the best interview on this podcast. I was a fan before but after hearing her story, I have more respect for actors and actresses. (Not that any needed my respect, ha!) I had the pleasure of cooking and serving for Goldie and Kurt in Los Alamos, CA at the 1880 Union Hotel. They were so kind and appreciative of the staff’s hard work. And a positive note for the engineers of this podcast: the edits throughout this interview were great! Previous interviews, it was obvious of the “cuts and pastes” of the stories. Great MasterClass! Cheers!
OPRAH thank you for putting your heart mind and soul into these great Podcasts! And they’re FREE! You ask such soul stirring questions, like Gary Zukav said, you ask the questions most of us want to ask and really hear the answers, almost like having ears on our hearts. When you search out your guests, and they say YES to their BIG ‘Y’ those of us who are open to hear the truth, can find that we can LEARN from their lessons. We can choose not to go down a path because we just heard with our hearts the lesson(s) from your guest. Thank you OPRAH. It is SO true that every encounter in our lives gives us the opportunity to grow us! With great Appreciation, Respect, Admiration and love, Sande
One of my favorite podcasts! I learn something from every episode Dash highly recommend!
Love the style and most of the stories but wish there was a change in guests. People that are masters in other areas (political, scientific, philosophical, etc.) instead of just random celebrities Oprah must like.
Every day while I am at my desk job and I just need someone to tell me hey! You gotta earn the bread let’s go! I listen to master class to motivate myself. Thank you Oprah for inspiring people like me everyday.
Can’t get enough. Between Jane Fonda, Benet Brown, OPRAH, AND Eckhart Tolle, “ there are no victims in this classroom”. Awe inspiring but an easiness to the explanations as to why we are responsible for our own experience.
I love this podcast. I especially loved Jane Fonda’s story. lessons learned and it reminds us that we all are the same. Fear and insecurity can come to all.
I liked You always, but hearing your childhood story, put you in my Hero Status. I Love how You explain Forgiveness! Simone
Smokey Robinson, Whoopi Goldberg, Lenny Kravitz, Maya Angelou... The life stories ring true and find a home in my heart. Thanks Oprah! Dreams can come true!
I love what you’re doing ❤️👏🏽
The way he’s able to keep my attention throughout ..and ingrain within me a vision that I can now see myself becoming , despite all hurtles, the person I am yet meant to be. I am more than in this present moment it’s up to me to follow my dream.💫
I appreciate and respect Tyler so much. It takes strength to share his life events with some extremely terrible things that happened to him. This was raw and perfect, as horrible as it was, he didn't cut that part out. He fought and grew from all of that. I'm so overjoyed that he never gave up. Even when he was knocked down and turned away, he always found another way. Love it!
I was introduced to Pod Casts with Oprah’s Master Class and other programs. They are fantastic and have changed how I drive around, and on the freeways. It used to be talk radio and news! The latter, is depressing, of late. Diane Sawyers Master Class talk was absolutely riveting. I highly recommend them. I just wish ordinary folk would be used for some of the talks. Some of us may not be millionaires or higher, but we’ve had successfull, fulfilling and interesting lives.
I love listening to all these wonderful and inspiring stories...thank you!
Love listening to these to and from work !
Was surprised to see there was hardly interaction Between host and guest. That was a complete surprise. Actually don’t necessarily like it.
Love Masterclass. It’s my favorite podcast. I always take something away from the stories. Great format. Sometimes, I wish there was more in each!
I like Oprah. I like the idea behind this series. But some of the guests make me gag. James Taylor sounds like a complete gasbag. Why did she pick him? There are so many more interesting, less self-congratulating successful people? That's my main issue with it. Some C- guests on what should be an A roster. Highlight episodes for me: Shaq, Alicia Keys, and Jane Fonda.
This is the most uplifting podcast full of beautiful stories of special people who don't talk about their celebrity but talk about what made them who they are. Oprah's story made me sob in my car. Maya Angelou, Smokey Robinson..... Love love love these stories.
This podcast has brought so many nuggets of wisdom to my life. The words spoken are inspired and inspiring. I am better for listening to these great souls. I am empowered to be my greater self.
Just listened to my first Master Class podcast -Oprah Winfrey Part 2. It was timely, divine a heaven sent message for me. Oprah shared her story of guidance-knowing next steps to take in life then she started singing the song “I surrender all” I burst into tears in my car!!! Totally unexpected. Thank you for sharing your life and your journey with us!! You’re such a blessing to this 🌍
I absolutely loved the 2018 season. But I was shocked in 2019 when the speaker was actually interrupted in the middle of their story so that an Advertisement could be played. Not only does that ruin an intense moment but I think that is very disrespectful of the listeners. I cannot tolerate that so I am unsubscribing. What a way to ruin a powerful and uplifting message.
Precious Oprah- Thank you for everything. You are one of the greatest lights of my life. I weep for that 6 year old child-my heart reaches out to her, holds her tight, loves her fervently, keeps her safe. What a gift and miracle you are 🙏🏼Gd did good when he created you. Thank you for showing us all how it’s done. We are all reaping the fruits of your harvest. Much love always ❤️
I will premise this with, she (Oprah) has a gift, that we all have. Some of us are able to listen and some of us are deaf to the guiding wisdom that lies within us. Her story fascinates and moves me personally. What a gift to hear Oprah’s story.
love this series ; use 2 watch this on tv
I love the setting of almost having a personal conversation with the Masters. Absolutely loved Oprah’s own personal episodes! She is one of God’s greatest works of art. She has blessed millions of lives and continues to do so. So glad she has been true to herself and answered the call to serve others, teach and make this world a better place. Also loved Gladys Knights episode! But all episodes are great!
The best person to tell their story is the one who lived it. Oprah realized that and made the podcast about the amazing people she can attract based on Oprah’s sincerity.
I really enjoyed listening to each story. I listen to this podcast while working out in the gym. I felt like I was watching television. I get so immersed, I almost forget I’m running or am in the middle of an elliptical workout. Keep the stories coming!
So much value and motivation. Love it
I enjoyed and was uplifted by these podcasts. Recommended.
Who doesn’t know Oprah Winfrey but I learned things about her journey I did not know. Issues I am struggling with or have struggled with I view differently now. I had a few “ahhh...that makes sense” moments and a few “oh, I never thought of it like that” moments. Ahhh-ha!!!
I have been listening to this podcast for the last 6-8 months and I love hearing the journeys of these celebs. I think it’s great to see the work it takes to get your dreams accomplished. If you are a dream chaser you should be listening to this!
I love the content and I find it really interesting how people tell their own stories with a free delivery. It’s making me value my own life’s experiences. Bravo, Oprah.
I love the show and it’s one of the only podcasts that I listen to however, I feel underrepresented. I wish that there was more, or any, Latinx guests. There are so many strong Latinx stars with amazing stories, I think they would be great for the show!!
Inspiring Oprah. Love everything she does.
I’ve enjoyed watching and listening to Oprah since I was a college student in Indiana meeting up with my friends in the cafe to watch Oprah together and talk about the drama of it all and then her platform changed and at first it was hard for me to get into but then Life started happening and I was able to draw water from my internal well to refresh me to restart me to regain myself. I will be forever grateful for this change. I really enjoyed listening to Oprah’s part 1 and 2 Master class and will listen to it again with my girls who are between 12 and 30. I also enjoy listening to the other Master class session and share frequently with my friends.
It’s a different version of The Oprah Show, IMO. Oprah has a way with reaching her fans and teaching life lessons...personal and worldly, acceptance and tolerant, loving and kind.
Oprah’s story is inspiring. I’ve watched Oprah before but I’ve never listened to podcasts before until this week. I didn’t mind that it felt like an audiobook because it felt like a inspirational audio. I accept that and found it helpful for my own forward thinking.
Thank you for sharing your story Oprah. You are a strong woman! To God be the glory.
I like listening to people talk about their lives in a way that doesn’t sound like a conversation. It’s more like a reflection.
Thank you, Oprah, for sharing your most painful memories of your childhood that have shaped you into this amazing gift for the planet, all of humanity and the universe. I have listened faithfully to every single episode and was brought to tears today, after listening to your own personal story, one guided by many, many synchronicities that you could just never make up, to save your life. I, too, have found my purpose for living, as a channel of some truly beautiful and divinely guided healing energy, which came through for me in a life changing - earth shattering - spiritual awakening on 11.11.11. My story was considered “crazy” and I was shunned by many, even written out of my family, off and on for a few years. Since this Greater Awakening, I’ve been a seeker on the path, and I so resonate with all that you say in this podcast; I love all that you stand for in your life. Thank you for bringing through some amazing healing for the people of this world, helping millions and millions become their true, authentic selves, by simply holding space for them to find their own a-ha moment that will awaken them to the reality of the new earth. Someday, Oprah, we’ll talk. Lol. I’m envisioning this now. I’ve got quite a story to share with the world, one that’s tucked away, because it’s so truly awe-inspiring, with so many cool twists, turns and synchronicities that weave such an intricate and beautifully woven tapestry, one many have a hard time comprehending; somehow I know you’ll tap into the greater purpose for it all and see and know its beauty. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the gift you’ve given me. I am crying today for all the pain you endured, knowing you made your way into the light, guided by God and many, many angels. As I like to say, there truly are no accidents, and when you are open to receiving the signs, it’s then that miracles can happen and true transformation begins. You are a testament that each bd every one of us is a spark of the Divine.
I am a mother of three young children so don’t get a whole lot of time to myself these days. Once I have the kids tucked in for the night, and I have about 30 minutes to attempt to get things in order, doing mundane tasks, I slide in my AirPods and listen to Oprah’s Master Classes and SuperSoul Conversations. The podcasts have impacted my life and my space tremendously. Thank you, Oprah, and your entire crew.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE these podcasts. I listen to them over and over again. Would you please continue them. Please add more people to listen to. I keep checking everyday but don’t see any new ones. Thank you Michele
Oprah you are a legend, I have been following you for many years and you are truly an inspiration🙏🏻 Love listening to your podcasts
Very informative, trying to make some changes in my life for the better and these podcasts help so much
Great podcast! The people share their private stories and you can feel it, and that’s a beautiful thing.
I love that the listener has the opportunity to know the celebrity guests from a more personal perspective, however, I agree with another reviewer... Oprah is needed in each interview. I love that Oprah always seems to ask questions that I want to know and translates with a down to earth sense of genuineness.
I’ve been subscribed to this MasterClass Poscast for a while now and I have enjoyed every episode. The insights, the hardships, the triumphs, the battles and journeys we are given access to in this series have shown me in the most beautiful way, that we all have our own story to tell. However, Oprah’s MasterClass episode about HERSELF has been the most astounding of them all. While listening to Part 2 of Oprah’s journey I literally had to stop the podcast and cry. It’s as if she was in my body experiencing the EXACT same feelings and questions as I do. “Why God did you lead me here if it’s not for me”? “Is this a cruel joke”? “I don’t understand what’s happening!” But in the end, we know HE KNOWS. It’s a hard truth, but a necessary one for us to become who He meant for us to become. Thank you Oprah for sharing this, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.
I’m so inspired by this podcast. I love the format. Love the way the subjects tell their own stories. Especially loved Cindy Crawford’s and Oprah’s personal stories. So moving. Thank you for this!
Oprah’s story is absolutely fascinating, all that she has overcome, her testimony & faith journey, her wisdom, and her transparency is overwhelming. She is a masterful storyteller, and engages you from the start!! If you are searching, seeking, knocking for real meaning and purpose in your life, listen with an open heart and mind as Oprah has opens the door♥️🙏🏼
I love this podcast! I am literally obsessed with it. I love the way this is recorded because we get to listen to the masters’ stories very closely; it feels like, we are there next to them. I get inspired every time I listen to a new story. Thank you!
I am finding out so much about people I thought I knew. The Smokey Robinson episode was amazing. Such a fascinating life about him growing up as a child with Aretha and Diana Ross as his neighbors and being so loyal to his fellow Motown artists. As he said, he has a blessed life and so do we, for him leaving us so many treasures. Hopefully there are more to come!
I love this podcast. I get to hear the life stories and lessons of people who I admire but always saw them as not relatable. But now I see them actual people and not just entertainers, actors, politicians, musicians, etc. To hear their stories, in their words, is incredible.
I love listening to this! I love to get raw and real and love to hear other’s stories as they do the same. So powerful.
I love it! The fluff of interviews is removed and the person interviewed is the only voice you hear. They’re telling a story and I love stories...
Thank you for all of the love and positive energy that you send forward. ❤️ 🙏🏻❤️
Listening to Oprah talk about her most private personal moments in her childhood brought tears to my eyes. Ugh...I wanted to reach out and hug that little girl she was talking about. What an incredible story told by an incredible woman.
A great format, so many of these podcasts seem to be about the hosts. This one is all about the guest, and their powerful stories of failure, hard work, and ultimately success. Thank you Oprah for not making about the story and caring for humanity to bring this forward. Daily and NPR take note.
I like that I am listening to the autobiographical story spoken directly to me as opposed to being interviewed. Very authentic!
I love Oprah and I love that she has put together a podcast that celebrates our challenges and what can be learned from them BUT I don’t like how the guest does all the talking. We don’t hear much from Oprah. It’s definitely not an interview which is what I was expecting. I’m sure Oprah is busy, and that might be the reason she isn’t more involved, but I wish she had more to do with it.
Love the delivery which is different from a conversation with an interviewer.
The thing that surprises me is there is so little Oprah. She really lets her guests shine even though nobody is more famous than her. It’s almost ironic because so many lesser known and less wise podcasters are constantly turning their ‘interviews’ on themselves (ahem, the forward) but Oprah makes it all about her guests. When I love the guest I LOVE The interview.
I ♥️ this bio platform... I feel as if the speaker is actually talking to me directly. I like Oprah but I’m glad she’s heard of very little... whenever she chimes in, it’s to narrate the storyline or add facts.
This podcast is a reflection of brilliance. From structure to content, all is unflawed. The podcast gets the truth from its guest. Guest open the hearts and souls to reveal the untold to their fans. I recommend this podcast. Oprah Winfrey has done it again. Congrats!
Thank you for these inside stories. They fill my heart and mind with gratitude for my own journey and remind me that my struggles have purpose.
I love every one of these. I have listen to these multiple times on multiple occasions. I think the next interview would be should be with Taraji P Henson. I love to hear her mastery class. She’s like a new school Cicely Tyson.
The best part of this podcast...no interruptions. Candid, honest, real-talk. I love you so much Oprah but I love how you have designed this master class. I think I’ve cried in every single podcast. My fav...Reba M and Shaq. Tears of joy and spiritual depth. Thank you for giving me this gift. YOU MOVE ME!
Overall inspiring stories from interesting celebrities but a few times I’ve listened, Oprah has mentioned the wrong age for the celebrity including Grant Hill and Cindy Crawford. Clearly Need to get a fact checker for this show, or is this intentional?
I love these! Hearing the often humble human stories from these very successful people are so insightful. I strongly recommend!
So often I’m looking for mini autobiographical snippets like these. Wise/concise/uninterrupted-Oprah, I salute you, thank you for uplifting the stories of others without having to insert your own input. You are a master!
I love the format! I love listening to the storyteller tell their tale without interruptions. It makes it very compelling! When I want to her dialogue/conversation, I tune in to Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday. I love them both!
I have never been one of those people who must listen to music while exercising, but I recently discovered podcasts and for most part I enjoyed them tremendously when I go on my long alone walks, the only thing that frustrates me is the constant interruptions from Oprah. I want to give a respectful and gentle feedback. Try not too have so much of your own inputs... Let the guess do the talking. Thank you
I love how Oprah pulls out over-arching themes from the lessons learned by these individuals on their journey.
I find these enjoyable knowing that thoughtful questions have been asked and I’m hearing directly from the subject and not a conversation. While I like those too, this is set up to learn from the individual about their path, their experiences and their lessons. Very good!
I’m a huge podcast listener, and listen to my favorites religiously. When I saw this masterclass I was curious, but only the intro was up. When I came back there were tons of celebrity episodes and I was hoping it wouldn’t be just like those celebrity interviews I had already heard. Ellen was the first I listened to and I was pleasantly surprised that it was presented more like a monologue and tied together at the end with taking the large lesson away. Will definitely continue listening
I think EVERY CITIZEN of the United States of America should listen to Cicely Tyson’s Master Class episode. She speaks to who we as Americans, as humans, should aspire to be. She is that wise grandmother dispensing the knowledge and lessons that we so desperately need nowadays. If we don’t listen to her, and those like her, who have EARNED their place and are STILL fighting to make our society a better place, we stand to fall deeper and deeper backwards into the very existence that so many gave their lives for us to avoid. Thank you Mrs. Tyson.
I really like the story-telling aspect of this podcast. There are a million and one different “back and forth” interviews in podcast land, and it is so refreshing to hear more of the “master’s” story in his or her own voice. Thank you, Oprah (and team)!
Love the delivery. Gets to the nuts n bolts of the interview so I’m not wasting time with small talk and giggles that’d you’d normally get with regular podcasts. I l o v e it!!
Everyone wants what they want from artists. That’s what an artists is ... it’s the vessels hearts choice decision to make , what is shared with the audience ... I love you Oprah. Thank you for bringing us together. We will meet and laugh and laugh on soul sessions one day soon. Cicely Tyson , Dwayne Johnson. Boy , I pray I get my bravery up in time.
I love listening to people’s stories. This podcast is a series of successful superstars biographies, telling you where they came from, who their inspirations were, when they got their big break and what they learnt along the way on their path to success, and maybe where they fell down too. I’d be open to hearing other successful people’s biographies, like businessman Mohamed Hadid or tech giant Elon Musk, not just entertainers.
I LOVE this podcast. I enjoy that it’s not about if the person’s done things right, but how it was right for them and propelled them into being a MASTER. My favorites are Joe Biden, and recently Cicely Tyson. Thanks Oprah for bringing life’s lessons and learning to us through other people’s experiences.
I prefer this feature format. The way it’s edited without the questions feels more personal. It doesn’t feel like an audiobook to me because it’s not that lengthy. The master class flows with interesting details that connects the celebrity to the listener in relatable situations. I look forward to each episode. Its also inspirational.
I’m a huge fan of super soul, but this doesn’t deliver the content in an style that makes it easy and entertaining for the podcast listeners. Super soul works well because the conversation element allows the listener to engage in the life moments of the interviewee and learn life lessons that’s relatable to most. Masterclass feels just as the name states, like a “class.” I think people prefer to listen to conversations when in their cars vs. going to a classroom for their drive home. It does provide great content, but it’s missing the “O” element which is why the listener is even choosing to listen. I have many recommendations for improvement, hopefully OWN can readjust and form a new strategy for delivery before these producers are given the pink slip.
I have to say I love this pod, but I wasn’t really interested in hearing Vanessa Williams’ story. I think I’m an open, liberal, nonjudgmental person, but I, like so many that saw her from the beginning, held her in low esteem. This feature on Vanessa made me cry. I had no idea about her history. We all make mistakes and sometimes we are shaped by events beyond our control that happened to us at a young age. I had a similar event as a child, so I understand the pattern. Bravo to Ms Williams for her courage and resilience....and for keeping it real and not becoming bitter or hard. She deserves all of her success!!!
Pretty uneventful for such a media luminary.
Great concept and content! It is missing the value add of the human dialog.
Really like the format without Oprah’s exclamations or inane comments, just the person speaking.
I like the candid storytelling of each of the guests life stories of how they became who they are. Not told in a rose-colored lens, I enjoy the frankness and sometime shocking personal experiences. Thank you
I used to watch the show on OWN and I love that I can now listen to it.
I particularly love how much I learn from everyone and Oprah’s voice offer that “everyone has a story..”
It’s ok. Some of the episodes contain information that is triggering to sexual assault survivors and that should be noted. It’s irresponsible to not do so. Inform people so that they can decide if they want to hear certain things or not.
I really love this podcast. I saw a few reviews complaining about the delivery but I prefer it this way as opposed to an interview or back and forth dialogue. I feel like I can capture the essence of the person while they speak alone for their session. I would recommend having more people that represent the lgbtq community who are “masters”. Too many heterosexual point of views.
I love the recording style. It's nice to just hear the guest speak.
Although it may seem that people who are famous may have some amazing take on life, I have found that the regular person usually has more humility and depth. I would love if Oprah sought out regular folk to interview. People without publicists. I’m so sick of people equating success by someone’s net worth. Being a billionaire is not a sign of spiritual growth. How about being a foster parent instead or a veteran?
Love, love, love! A giant who humbly owns the human quality of dealing with depression. A great conversation delivered with integrity xx
I am really getting a lot out of these, to my surprise from even the folks I’m not fans of. Would love to know the format of how these are produced. They’re not interviews, not speeches. They do seem tightly edited. Is each person given prompts to respond to? Asked to write a life story essay? Is the format in which they’re recorded different from the edited episode we’re listening to? Just never heard quite this format before. It’s fascinating. And the episodes are so insightful and inspiring.
Oprah, I absolutely love what you are doing with this podcast. Its just something about someone whos made it tell their story that inspires me and im sure inspires so many others. Its more than just reading a bio or listening to a book or watching a documentary. Its magical when you hear a person tell their story in their own words. Please continue doing what your doing and my wish for this podcast is that you can get every person who has achieved something to tell their story.
Like the nonstop narrative and some of the personal stories of the past and overcoming adversity are inspiring. Also learning about notable people that fall outside of my genres is interesting.
Loved the story of Johnson’s life His realizations of his manhood were amazing but his analysis of depression are excellent His acceptance of taking the low points of life and to turn them into positives is a great inspiration‼️
I really enjoy the uninterrupted version of the person telling their story. It’s like listening to their autobiography in their voice ! How cool is that ? 😎. Especially when you love their voice (Dwayne The Rock Johnson and Jay-Z) I feel they feel less inhibited when they are allowed to express themselves without being bombarded with questions, especially when sharing heart warming or heart wrenching accounts of their lives. Great 👍🏽 job Oprah !!! 💗
Oprah is my hero, inspirational and somewhat real. Why are all these interviews with celebrities. There are far more interesting people in the world than those with publicists. Owning a brand is interesting but some long autobiographical celebrities is boring. Oprah, interview growth is what you are good at, dig deep and talk with people that are real. Celebrities definitely worked hard to get to where they are, their journeys don’t talk to the vast majority of us.
I love how each ‘master’ shares their life story and that It’s setup like an autobiography not a conversation. It gives each person the space necessary to share their story.
I love the content and the way this podcast is formatted less like an interview so it focuses more on the person than just answering questions. The part I highly dislike is how the person’s experiences are summarized by Oprah in the introduction of each episode, I feel like it ruins them explaining their story for themselves. Usually I just skip the first few seconds until the guest is speaking.
Fabulous cast with uplifting stories. Interesting way for a podcast to only hear the guests answers rather than hearing the questions asked as well. I really love that interview concept!
I love the concept. A lot of people have so much great information to share, but because of editing and short clips we don’t get to hear all the nuance. This podcast seeks to end that; for that, I’m grateful. However, it falls short on delivery. The people interviewed have very little content that I find interesting or helpful in day to day life. Maybe that won’t be the case for every listener. I like the SuperSoul conversations more than this podcast because the people interviewed are more interesting and spiritually focused. 3 stars but I’ll still give it more time!
I love the delivery style because it feels like that person is actually speaking to me and not being interviewed. This is more effective to me because the speaker is telling the parts of his or her life that are relevant to them and not depending on an interviewer’s questions. I love this autobiographic style because I learn so much about the speaker.
It’s story telling, captivating, informative. #MorePlease
I love the format of just letting the “master” go on and talk through their story. Some serious inspiration and heart felt moment from some of the most iconic stars of all time. Only Oprah can make stuff this good.
I simply love Master Class. There is nothing like sitting at my dining room table on a Sunday morning, having my tea and listening to “Master Class”. I’ve loved every episode. Keep up the good work “O”!
I love the master class and the way it delivers, I think It’s a great idea that Oprah gives the entire time to her guest to talk. It’s just opposite the super soul Sunday and that’s a conversation. Well done Oprah, a huge fan!!!
This is my absolute favorite podcast at the time the intimate delivery of the content makes me feel like I’m getting gold nuggets from an uncle and aunty. So much encouragement and wisdom is gathered from this station.
I really enjoy hearing how people have gotten to where they currently are. The fight and drive is important to keep.
You’ve got the golden touch. I would never bet against you. Why not run for Vice President ? We need you now in the frightening times ! Lots of luck , light and good heath Best , Leslie
Thank you Oprah for paving the way for young Black Queens like myself who don’t fit into the box of black beauty/ standards but being your own beautiful self and encouraging others to do the same! I have the Queen Quaymo Podcast on iTunes as well, and I’m putting me and your interview happening into the universe 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
Mr. Shawn Carter... So many gems that can be applied to life! Thank you for sharing your perspective...
I was super excited about this podcast but then listened to two episodes and was utterly disappointed. The conversations and questions were boring in my opinion. I expected more.
My favorite part is the entire interview is all from the interviewee. You never hear the questions so it sounds like they are just talking to you. Great lessons and perspectives straight from the horses mouth.
Thank you so much!
I like the concept of this podcast and the guests as well. But the stories seem jumbled and haphazardly edited together one second someone is talking about there career and another second they are talking about growing up with no identifier of how you jumped from one to the other, it just sounds like a run on. I get lost. Please get better more concise editing.
I loved Jay z’s episode, can you bring us TI and Nas?
Thoroughly enjoying this podcast! I learn something new every time I listen.
I really wanted to love this because I listen to Super Soul Sessions religiously, but I don't like the format. Personally, I would have loved this more if it were more of an interview format with Oprah. I appreciate the content and the sharing, but it's hard to get through an episode even if I love the celebrity.
I have been an appreciative, respectful, and devoted fan of Jay-Z for most of my life. His music resonates with so many tangible emotions and events for me personally that the “entertainment” value of his prose is secondary to the healing that he has provided me through his art. More Life Mr. Carter
I listen to the podcast all in 1 day that how amazing this podcast is.I couldn’t stop listen once I started.
Loved the company of the podcast
I’ve listened to every episode since the podcast came out and I love it! Very interesting hearing all of their life stories and every episode is full of gems that can be applied to everyday life. The main message I’ve out gotten of it is perseverance.
With each podcast I think, “this one is my favorite. I can so relate to this message.” Then I hear the next one and feel like there’s no stopping me.
Thank you to the production assistants, producers, audio engineers and of course Oprah herself for bringing this podcast to the public! I listen to it when I need inspiration especially in the morning. Oprah’s voice is so rich and soothing, I love the close after each episode! Thank you!
Amazing podcast. I dive into the depths with just listening to those who did it before me. For that, I thank.
Thanks for sharing your journey. Truly inspiring to me and many others.
Heartfelt Autobiographies unfolded by individuals who inspires us all by speaking their truth ! Master Class is a master piece!
I absolutely love this podcast because it is inspiring as I am in a transition in my career. It helps put things into perspective, keeps me focused/motivated in my process, and inspires me to keep going. I love Jay Z but I must say, the episode with Steve Harvey's choked me up...PUSH!!!!!!
Their stories are brilliant and inspiring. I have laughed and cried while listening—and I remain constantly impatient for the next episode to be released! Love this so much!
Phenomenal episode! Amazed at how Jay Z is still so relatable, even through all the fame and what comes with it.
Wonderful podcast. How inspiring to hear that at 62 she found herself!
My back is against the wall and the odds are against me.. but I still find energy to pull on. I draw inspiration from your podcasts to numb my pain and do my duties. Thank you for making a difference
My only complaint is that I need more episodes! Really love this podcast and all of the guests so far.
I have always loved Masterclass on OWN & I don’t watch tv now, so this podcast makes me so happy!!! Thank u Oprah 😘😘😘
Master Class is by far the best podcast I’ve listened to!!
Really enjoyed Jay Z master class, truly inspiring!!
Hello I’ve been following the oprah television show since 1996 But this is the first time I’ve listened to your pod cast and it was about the super soul and I loved it and as I’m also a gynaecologist and a mother of 6 with one special needs child, I have an intention to follow your podcasts now
I remember being driven to high school by my brother (if I could get in his car before he left) & listening to Drew & Mike on the WRIF. It took awhile to catch up & understand all the drops, but when I did I was hooked! Cut to driving myself to college & then work for years! Miss u guys when u left the air, but my cousin kept telling me about ur podcast. I had doubt that it could be as good as the “good ole days”...u all are awesome! Thanks Trudi-love u!! Drew-the best!! Love u all! Oh! & hoping u get Dax on soon!!
I love it
I just listened to the “Steve Harvey” Master Class!!! Amazing! Extremely powerful! He has become my new role model. I can’t wait until I listen to the others
I love hearing stories and this podcast is a great source of amazing and inspiring stories!
I love this new podcast! I listen on my way to work, at home or anywhere in between and I’m super excited. My only critique is, I want more. There is a limited number of “episodes” and I’ve listened to them all. Please add more!
The idea is nice, and the style of the podcast entertaining to listen to. However, I give it two stars because of the sample of people interviewed is lacking. Let’s be real, almost all the folks are black. Justin and Reba aren’t, but they are both musicians. I think they can have a diverse set of people on here.
This is not your typical podcast. I’ve listened to hundreds of great interviews through the podcast platform, but the way that Oprah’s Masterclass is edited it gets right to the best parts. The guest’s stories are unbelievable and I’m learning so much through their stories. Keep them coming please!
This is a very inspirational episode. He is so real. His stories are very relatable. I am so proud of his accomplishments and am happy that he has been a positive influence to so many people. It’s wonderful to see someone succeed and share their wisdom.
Love learning about amazing people who have gone through many trials, but rise above them. These podcasts leave you with a message that sticks!
Oprah‘s ability to get just about anyone to appear on her show is legendary but this masters class is a dud. Her brand name appears on it but many of the tips and direction of the celebrities who speak seem rather self-serving and spiritually void to me. It needs to be more interactive! I will give it another month and then I’m just going to delete it from my podcast library.
I stumbled across this podcast looking for motivation and I have never been so excited about a podcast. Every Thursday Oprah does not disappoint with these self guided interviews of people we see in the media on a daily basis. These stories really give an inspiring look into “celebrity” life and the pitfalls it took to get to the success we see now. I don’t think I could love a podcast more.
I love this new podcast. Such great inspirations that I can share with my kids! Love it!!!!
This podcast is amazing, refreshing, and inspiring. I look forward to listening to the inspirational messages here. 😁👏🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽👍🏽✊🏽
Each persons story is very inspiring🙏🏼
This is such a wonderful gift. Learning from the choices, challenges and triumphs of others is truly beneficial to me. I’m sure millions of other appreciative listeners will benefit from this podcast.
I am SO excited about this being available in podcast form and I hope the Masterclasses with Sidney Poitier and Maya Angelou will be available soon also!! Thank you for doing this!
Oprah.. thank you for using this platform to create and inspire. Steve Harvey story made something in me to react... thank you so very much for making me believe in me and my abilities. I prayed to God to show me the way to go and the very next day I’m here listening to this pod cast...please share the name of the poem Lynn Said at the end of her podcast.
My friend put me on to this podcast and I haven’t looked back since. This is a great podcast and much needed for gaining that true you perspective to Greatness. Thank You Oprah!
Dear Oprah and Harpo productions, Thank you so much for bringing this podcast to my ears! Every single episode, there is something within it that resonates with me. I just got done listening to the Steve Harvey episode and it made me cry. Other episodes and guests that you’ve had on also made me tear up or sincerely think about my current life situation. It’s just so refreshing that everyone is so raw and open with their experiences and for that I thank you for allowing that to happen! This is by far my most favorite podcast that I listen to!
Of course if Oprah touched it it's FABULOUS!!! Love this podcast soooooi much. Cannot wait until the next one, EVERY week! Thanks Oprah, u r da bomb! 😘😘😘😘😘
Honestly, I’ve never really been a Steve Harvey fan. Read the book Think Like a Man, but I wondered how he became an expert on success. This podcast sealed the deal for me! Totally admire him. I love the fact that he’s not being questioned, he’s just talking. Being real about his experiences. This podcast give me hope that if I don’t quit I will realize my dreams. Thank you Oprah!
Every single episode is amazing. This is by far my favorite podcast!! Thank you Oprah!!
This is something I listen to at work for a little motivation! Love that the interviews were transferred to this platform!
I recently started listening to this podcast every morning to help me start my day. It’s the perfect motivation to get me prepared to have a wonderful and productive day! Thank you!!
Inspiring, raw, and honest. Loved listening to it.
Super excited about this podcast!!! Learning from some of the best people through their transparency and life experiences!
Podcast has become the new way one can stream information and music from your greatest artist and entertainers. I love it, to get in depth knowledge and opinions.
First became aware of Oprah's Master Class from their FB ads. Too bad I don't watch TV. So, was pretty psyched it came to podcast. Unfortunately, it doesn't score a passing grade in my book. Instead of an interview format, where an experienced interviewer could drill down to get the nuggets of wisdom, we get this scripted storytelling that at best dishes out some shallow lessons. "Work hard, be yourself." Thanks, didn't know that already. Also, most of the guests are celebrities with supernatural talents. Obviously they've worked hard to get to where they are, but as a person with average intelligence and no real talents, it's a bit hard to relate. Report card: Title is misleading, not that great a class for a self-help nerd. But if you're a fan of these stars, their life story highlights may be of interest.
This is THE BEST inspirational podcast for me right now to learn life lessons from successful people. Each episode has been captivating! I listen while walking and find myself smiling often. Sometimes laughing out loud and even tearing up a few times at these emotional real life stories of hope, hard work, determination, and following dreams! Thank you Oprah! I LOVE this podcast!!
Thoughtful and pointed like the tip of a spear.
I love love this podcast, we get to hear close and personal life stories from the celebrities we love, which gives us a well rounded closeness with them, which they wanted to tell on their own. I love what you say Oprah, “we can learn something from other people’s life’s experiences”. Keep them coming 💗💗💗
This is definitely a podcast that makes me want to do a happy dance when a new episode is available! I love learning about where people came from, how hard it took to get there and despite all the crossroads they made it. This is very inspiring and entertaining. Thank you Oprah for all that you do for this world by putting great programs like this together.
Thank you 🙏🏻 for everything that you have brought to the table OPRAH !!! You’re THE most inspiring person !!! This amongst every other project that you support is TRULY AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL 💝 Thank you 🙏🏻
Simply the best!!!! I admire everything about you!!!! May God Shower you with endless blessings! Muah! 😍
Feeds my soul!
I am a 60 year old Singaporean mum to 3 wonderful kids . I now live in Hongkong but have lived in Beijing , Tianjin , Frankfurt , Copenhagen, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. When I read or see all these celebrities, I often think how lucky they are. But Masterclass shows me that success reaches to those who are resilient , work hard, and have love and faith either from their own strength or through those who inspire and nudge them along. We all cannot be celebrities but we all can be happy and make good choices . Love listening to every episode Lena
I rushed right over when I heard that Oprah was doing this AND Alicia Keys was on it. I look up to her as a singer/songwriter taking control of my career in the early stages. Loved the things she shared. She’s such an inspiration.
She needs to interview Obama!!!
OMG! It’s here. I'm enjoying this so much. My only reason for not rating a 5 is due to the technical error. The podcast were extremely fast and it sped through the commentaries.
Oprah has done it again- inspired! I absolutely love that she has turned her Master Class T.V. Segment into a podcast. I stopped watching T.V. A long time ago and always felt I was missing out not watching her OWN network. Thank you for sharing.
I’m one of Oprah’s biggest fan. Like since my younger days coming home from school, turning to channel 3 to catch the show. Now I’m listening to her podcast. I absolutely love it. I just wish that we could hear Oprah or whomever ask question. (Dialect) It just sounds like the person is just answering question from the top of their head.
Thank you Oprah. Preach!
This is a great idea because sometimes Oprah talks too much during Super Soul!
I never thought I’d like an Oprah podcast, let alone subscribe. But this is the best podcast I’ve ever heard. So inspirational!
I’m really enjoying the Master Class podcast. Allowing celebrities who have done extremely well in their careers to give some insight on their lives is very inspiring. I look forward to more from this podcast.
Only 2 shows in and very inspired! I’m looking forward to hearing more.
First two episodes were enlightening. Can’t wait to hear more.
Thank you. That is all!
My prayers have been answered, Oprah's podcasts are back!!!
This podcast brings Jay Z. Into your space and the conversation to a level of reality that’s very elusive to mainstream artists!
Once again Oprah brings us another chance to connect with the world around us!! Thank you Oprah you are one classic Lady!!
So much wisdom in every episode! 🙏🏼🙏🏾💥
Thanks for bringing this to the podcast platform!
Thank you Oprah for this podcast! It’s inspiring to hear the struggles before their success and helps me understand that everyone has a story.
Brilliant! Real life stories allow us to relate and learn about ourselves. Another phenomenal way that Oprah helps her followers to grow as individuals, to connect with their own understanding about themselves and to strive to be better people. Loved it!
Jay is an inspiration to the world. The level of clarity that jay has is beyond what i hv ever seen. Thank you Jay for being a light to the world.
Wonderful intimate portraits of humanity.
I absolutely loved listening to Mr. Johnson with my father. He was very descriptive and articulate and I feel closer to him after listening to this. Jay-Z was okay. I don’t listen to rap but I still love stories and keep my mind open. It probably would help if I listened to his music but I did not get as much out of it as I did with the former artist. I cannot wait to hear more stories from other famous people. Great idea for a podcast!
Oprah is a gift from God. What she gives us with these Pod Casts is just one of her gifts to us. Thank you, Diane
Can’t wait for more interesting interviews!!
First time I ever hear Jay Z speaking. I know, weird. Huh? I am so impressed. Only Oprah can bring this kind of conversation to us. I am so happy for this podcast.
Thank You soooo much for this!!!! We are on the inspirational life😊
I am so ecstatic that Oprah’s Master Class series is now a podcast. I loved watching it when I had the OWN channel. I hope that put all of the past episodes, especially Morgan Freeman, Jane Fonda, and Maya Angelou, on here. Those were some of my favorites. Thanks Oprah for doing this.
I loved this podcast. Humbleness and gratitude was my takeaway. Thank you for your authentic self.
I wish that this podcast would be available in Stitcher because apple podcast doesn’t always work on my iPhone X. I really enjoy super soul conversations and would love to listen to this, too!
All of Oprah’s voice transitions to commercial break and the commercials are all from the SuperSoul podcast—which isn’t a big deal, but they all literally say “hey supersoul listeners” or something to that effect.
I can’t wait to hear more from others👍🏽
I love this podcast. Please include Dr. Maya Angelou
When the Oprah show ended - I wandered around aimlessly trying to find something fulfilling to listening to. Thank goodness for podcasts! I’m 100% hooked - love every minute!
This is a treasure of a collection. Just an open talk with some of the masters in our world.
Yes Oprah!!! This is awesome!!
I love listening to Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday’s podcast. I am always inspired by her guest speakers and the conversations within. When I heard about her new podcast, I thought why? What makes this different? Why not just interview these people on her current show? To be honest I was hoping for a female for her first podcast because I could relate more. However I thought, Oprah is a very smart woman and she would know to put her best foot forward when trying something new. So I will give it a listen I am so glad I did. I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised with regards to how much I could relate my own life to Dwayne’s. Not that I had encountered any of the same issues, but I could relate to his thought processes behind them which is where the inspiration comes from. Also, another aspect in his story was to allow those who want to help and accept that we do need each other to help us out of the dark places life can lead. Dwayne recognized that as well. I think after the thousands of podcasts I have listened to over the course of the past 3 years, this is the second review I have ever written. I was so moved and look forward to hearing the next guest. This is an amazing source of inspiration produced by the most amazing woman I can think of. Thank you, Oprah for all you do. You certainly are the jewel of the earth! 🙏
I’m a fan of pretty much everything Oprah touches, but this format wasn’t for me. Like some others have said in the reviews, I didn’t realize how much I learn from Oprah’s incredible interviewing skill. She’s barely there in this format. I’ll keep devouring Super Soul *conversations* so I can hear Oprah in addition to the guest. She adds so much to the content in those episodes!
very inspiring and well spoken, "being true to ones self" it is hard to find that self even at 60.
I saw the screener for this a few years ago with Justin Timberlake and still watch it from time to time. So amazing! Love that it is available as a podcast.
And to all the ones that don't give 5 stars, please change it if you don't know how to find the episode you are looking for. Be patient and there is nothing fishy about this podcast. This is an awesome podcast.
Thank you for launching this, it was exactly what I needed to hear. Amazing job!
I just wish the music was included. That’s what makes this show what it is imo
I like the concept and format of the podcast. It’s intriguing and insightful. What I appreciate the most is that Miss Oprah never falls at sharing gems she’s discovered to help you on your journey of life.
