My favorite podcast every week!   (5/5)

I am a big fan of P&T and I started listening to this wonderful podcast a few years ago. It made me a stronger athiest and gave you great conversation about life.

Love the show!   (4/5)

I love the show and hearing about him and Teller. Also hearing about his family and all the stories he has to tell! How can I find out the lyrics to the opening and closing song?

Kind Atheist   (5/5)

I love this podcast for three reasons: I love the celebrity stories, the ethical discussions, and the camaraderie of the hosts. I’ve listened for years, and love hearing people who care about each other catch up and love everyone from a distance or from across the same table. And the theme song is inspirational.

Tired   (1/5)

The show has gone to hell. All lives matter.

Friends   (5/5)

I’ve been a member of the congregation since Day One and I feel like I’ve gotten to know Penn and his friends. I feel like we’ve become friends. Which is stupid of me. But I’m stupid. Stupid with me by listening to this podcast.

Love you Penn, BUT.......   (5/5)

While I think you are super, and continue to have a remarkable life, tell us about it! Your personal habits.....well, call me and we will talk about the current tangent you are on. THE official Quitaque Texas Melinda Collins

Bored   (2/5)

I used to love this show but it has now turned into a weekly update of Penn’s daily activities, bring back monkey Tuesday or anything remotely amusing or entertaining

Bob Dylan   (5/5)

Love this show. I love that Penn has this platform to express his opinion on a seemingly never ending list of topics. But generally every road leads back to Bob Dylan which makes me love the show that much more. Would love to see Penn take a deep dive into Bob Dylan in the future. Thanks for doing this 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

Thank you   (5/5)

I am delighted to have an imaginary peek into your world. You give me food for thought timster💪🏽🤓

Enjoy the congregation   (5/5)

I am a little younger than Penn and find the Podcast to be an entertaining way to look at events that are occurring in life. I know I will never have the financial success but I enjoy listening to the fact that money does not solve all of life’s problems and that even with fame and wealth you still have to deal with life’s problems. Penn has been a life preserver in the crazy world we live in.

Just love it   (5/5)

I freakin love these podcasts. I laugh so hard. You all make my day. Hey; Penn&Teller, thanks for the bench at the dog park in Las Vegas. I’m a Boston girl and have friends out there that posted a pic. You guys rock 👍🌹. You know I love ya.

If you like bragging you’ll love this   (1/5)

Back slapping and bragging. Perfect show for the trump era.

Breath of fresh air   (5/5)

Just took one, and another....... hopefully will keep doing so

just fun to listen to   (5/5)

It is just fun to listen to these people talk. Anything can turn into an amusing tale on this podcast. Penn's personal philosophy comes through strongly, more honest for admiting that it doesn't always have the answer for what you should do. For newcomers, watch any Penn and Teller clip. if you like him talking on stage while doing a magic trick, you'll probably like him talking on this podcast.

Great show, but needs some course correction.   (4/5)

Absolutely love the show. Have been a die-hard Congregationalist for several years now. However, The ads are getting ridiculous since they switched podcast networks, and the episodes seem to be getting shorter on top of that. Less content with more ads is a bad combination.

Marianne   (5/5)

I really loved this episode and enjoyed the topics touched on. Thank you!

Peace and Love   (4/5)

I really enjoy the show. It brings me back to the glory days of when Penn used to sit in on The Howard Stern Show.

Penn & The Gang Should Read Their 5 star reviews   (5/5)

Love the podcast. They should read their 5 star reviews bc it encourages listeners to leave reviews so they have the incentive of potentially having their reviews read on air.

Repetitive amusement   (2/5)

He’s quite mad, you know. Penn has good, amusing stories, but he tends to tell the same ones over and over again. Also, 7+ minutes of badly-read ads in a 45 minute podcast hearkens back to the bad old days of TV. Also also, PLEASE stop talking about how much you hate chicken now that you’re vegan. We get it. Between the ads, the repeat stories, and the vegan rants, I find myself using the skip ahead button a lot these days - leading me to think I should just skip the whole download.

Twinkie’s and beer   (5/5)

Love the libertarian lesson!! So sensible.

Ads   (1/5)

Ridiculous number of ads. Most podcasts have 30 seconds maybe 60 seconds of ads. This podcast feels like it has 5 minutes easily and they’re spread out and annoying to skip. Really annoying. Aren’t you rich enough Penn?

Fascinating!   (5/5)

My favorite podcast. Penn is a seeker of wisdom. He inspires me. I would be willing to pay to hear it without the adds in the middle, or you could put the adds at the beginning only, like Joe Rogan does. One small suggestion, that would make this great podcast even better!

Penn is awesome to listen to!   (5/5)

I highly recommend this one. Penn is an intellectual-yet well balanced guy, and he is a pleasure to listen to. I really liked when they had on the guy that was trying to save the coral reef and stuff. Sciencey stuff like that is interesting to me, especially with smart and articulate people the listen to! Thanks! -Pete

Glad to find it   (5/5)

There’s just something about Penn Jillette, can’t really put my finger on exactly what it is, but his intriguing personality has sparked my mind since I was a young child. Not sure if it was Carson or Letterman that introduced me to his and Teller’s magic, but I’ve been hooked ever since. Was listening to him on Joe Rogan today and was pretty excited to learn he has his own Podcast. Looking forward to catching up on all the episodes.

great show   (5/5)

very entertaining and makes me laugh out loud. Also makes me think and weirdly inspires me to be healthier.

Our Atheist Padre   (5/5)

Love the show, you always stay true to yourself which is a wonderfully refreshing. Can’t get enough!

Always fun and often informative   (5/5)

From lighthearted personal stories from Penn and his crew to great guests you won’t hear anywhere else. You don’t have to be a magician or a libertarian or a vegan or a atheist to relate to what’s going on here. You just have to have a sense of humor and an open mind.

Wildly funny!   (5/5)

As a fan of Penn and Teller for over 30 years I guess you could say I am a bit biased. However, when searching for entertaining podcasts in a world of people blathering on nonsense this show is a breath of fresh air! Always funny, sometimes controversial, but that is what makes it entertaining! I think this world needs to get over themselves and enjoy!

Wonderful entertainment   (5/5)

Great wacky stories mixed with a little philosophy. Always a lot of fun!

Penn and his crew make my day   (5/5)

My favorite podcast. I laugh and I learn something. Great storytelling and amazing guests. Rock on Penn!

Preach On, Penn.   (5/5)

Penn Jillette is a beautiful human being.

It’s not rocket science, Batman   (5/5)

Been listening to Penn since his radio show out of NYC about 10 years ago, now a devoted member of the congregation. The show moves all over the place, from hilarious anecdotes (show biz and mundane) to deep dive conversations on politics, ethics, religion, music, philosophy, art, and so on (and ideas you may not agree with, but will get you thinking). Penn, Goudeau, and Matt are clearly having a blast, and instead of feeling like an outsider, you’re in the room with them laughing along with everything. Subscribe!

Love it   (5/5)

Makes me laugh. Love the addition of Moxie to the show sometimes.

Distilled Penn & company   (5/5)

This is another podcast that always gives some insight into everyone talking and listening. Intelligent conversation that comes off as real, not preachy or from a ‘know it all’ place. I love the stories of people connecting, like a cop who drives him somewhere to get a cookie. How he felt for the TSA agents working during the shutdown even though his political views may not be pro-TSA. Andy Warhol! I mentioned on a review of Getting Better very similar themes, I feel like I get to know the people on these episodes better each time. This podcast is more ‘produced’ sounding that Ron’s but there are similarities in I feel they are genuine, hard working, family loving, etc. I would LOVE to hear the two of them talking about weight loss, GOALS, hard work, etc. Thank you (everyone involved in this podcast) for a positive gift!

Great stuff   (5/5)

This podcast makes me think, makes me laugh and at times can make me cry. It is always an important part of my week.

Favorite podcast ever   (5/5)

I just love this podcast. Penn is inspiring and bright, and I am often snorting in the car while listening!

Going downhill   (2/5)

I’ve been a listener since the Penn Radio days. The show was better before it became tinged with social justice and vegan narratives. It’s not that I’m not tolerable of opposing views, it’s just that it’s a constant beating of a dead horse. Trump and atheism diatribes seem a tad deranged. I miss the old Penn. it’s a far cry from the BS era. Goudeau and Matt are excellent cohosts.

Best time wasting venue ever   (5/5)

I’ve been a fan of Penn & Teller for years now mostly watching YouTube videos about being a Libertarian and other videos & TV specials. despite living in Vegas for the past 13 years I’ve never seen his show live. I was given his audio book Presto by someone who loves me and doesn’t want me to be a fat f$&k anymore. Through his books (I have them all) and now the podcast I am convinced that Penn is quite possible the best story teller of our time. Maybe someday I’ll actually take action on Cra-Ray, Clapper & Fur-burger’s advice and I’ll go see the show when I’m less of a FF.

My favorite   (5/5)

I have a bunch of podcasts on my phone and Sunday School is the only one I listen to religiously. Thanks to al involved.

Just like real life   (5/5)

Goideau and Donnelley round out an already irregularly humorous adventure. Yes it is very funny. But sometimes sweet and sometimes a little sour. It’s like life, if you were a magician and lived in Vegas and had the longest running most successful show in Vegas. Just like that. Ready rich is there too. Silly side note. Penn Jillette also makes an appearance. When he says he loves you. You feel it. It feels like he really does. So if you want to feel Love. You should listen.

Jimmy RHODES   (5/5)

Love the podcast guys. It’s a must listen at my house. My week can’t start without a dose of Sunday school.

My Favorite Podcast   (5/5)

I found this podcast while searching for interviews with Joel Fuhrman. I was not disappointed and have become a regular listener! I Love sharing episodes with my loved ones!

Great podcast   (5/5)

I’ve listened to every single one. It’s great, fun, and informative. Thanks!

Love it!   (5/5)

Look forward to every episode - love the honest funny conversations.

It has become a diet show. Really boring   (1/5)

It has become a diet show. Real boring

Penn lives a really exciting and interesting life. At Sunday School you get to hear all about it, and laugh along. Penn plus his crew -- Goudeau, Matt, Reddi -- are full of honesty, humility, frank observations, and great punch lines. This is a really interesting + laugh-out-loud podcast in which I trust.

You want a podcast?   (5/5)

Can’t wait to start listenin’, got here from smodcast, just waiting for part deuce

Smart Guy with Great Stories   (5/5)

At times synergistcally elevated by his 2 co-hosts and at other times dragged down by their momentum-killing interruptions, Penn keeps saying he isn't that smart and doesn't really work, compared to, say, an autoworker. Well, he's 15% smarter than I, and 100% more of a worker. The guy has his day mapped out in 15-minute increments and STILL has time for this weekly podcast full of great stories, philosophy, and hilarity.

Love it!   (5/5)

Absolutely love this podcast. Penn and his crew are just the best.

Amazing stories   (5/5)

Best part of the podcast is that they’re wrong on just about everything. ;)

Interesting podcast   (4/5)

Great conversation and topics, but Penn's screaming makes it a difficult listen. Not an easy podcast if you have Misophonia.

CrayRay   (5/5)

We need to hear more about CrayRay! Those two podcasts were magic!

Huh?   (5/5)

If I have to write down in so many words why Penn, Goudeau and Matt Donnelly are awesome... then maybe it’s not for you. These guys kill it every show! Matt Wisconsin

Great but Why Twice A Week?   (5/5)

I love the podcast, but the breaking the Sunday recording into two parts is, frankly, annoying. The conversations take place in a single setting, and the separation feels manipulative.

Perfect nonsense!   (5/5)

Politically grating, notoriously inaccurate, 90% funny, 15% plant-based cheese.

Why Did It Stop?   (3/5)

Great But Why Did It Stop?

One of my favorites   (5/5)

Reminds me of Jules and Vincent Vega talking in pulp fiction. —— Only this discussion is unscripted and spontaneous.

Penn is so smart and fascinating I really could listen to him talk all day. Sometimes his guests are hit and miss. The best episodes are when Penn is paired with his friends like Gilbert Gottfried or when he is interviewing someone he really respects like Kurt Anderson.

Proud congregation member   (5/5)

Thank you Penn, Michael, Matt, and Reddi (and anyone else involved that I missed). You've provided countless hours of content and even though it's free, at the same time it's been priceless to me. You've made me laugh, cry, think, and also inspired me in many ways. I'm indebted to you and when the time comes that you need to dispose of a body/bodies, I will help questions asked. 😉

Always a joy   (5/5)

Penn is great

My favorite!!   (5/5)

My favorite podcast! I love Penn!!!!

Amazing Podcast- Award Winning Co-Host   (5/5)

Amazing podcast, no doubt due to the fact it is co-hosted by award-winner Matt Donnelly

The Best   (5/5)

My favorite podcast ever. Will always remain my favorite!

Unsubscribed   (2/5)

Good content until Penn screams like a banshee near the end. Too much if you're wearing earbuds

Mr. Penn in all his glory.   (5/5)

Great show. Politics weakened it, but its back to full form after the election. Awesome stories from an awesome man.

lost his conviction   (1/5)

I had to stop listening when he started to get advertising from a gun superstore. Seems a bit contrary to be a pacifist and take the dollars from a weapons merchant. Also, after a time the libertarian jive gets tiresome.Don't like public services? Don't use the roads or drink tap water. I am moving on.Good jokes, now and again.Good luck.

perfect   (5/5)

highly recommend the podcast

Almost always great   (5/5)

Penn is one of our best raconteurs and he has interacted with enough smart and interesting people to provide plenty of topics. The regular shows with Penn, Goudeau, and Matt are great. The occasional interview shows are more hit and miss. Most are great (Martin Mull for example) but a few have been people that are not good at getting their ideas out clearly. Penn has strong opinions on almost everything and while I don’t always agree, he does usually make me think.

Better than Stern on off days   (5/5)

Better than Stern on off days

Not a previous Penn fan   (5/5)

I don't care for his TV show, never saw his magic show, and I wish he stop going on about being an atheist, but I love the way he relates his life stories and shares his insights here on this podcast.

How Can You Resist This Guy?   (5/5)

Personally, I find Penn Jillette one of the most invratiating performers around. I am always interested in his take on the world and thoughts about the human condition

Love me some Penn   (5/5)

I've enjoyed Penn Jillette for years as the Magic due Penn & Teller and found Penn's podcast and absolutely love it. Not only are they entertaining but very informative at times. Very pleased to listen to it now twice a week. Thanks Penn!

Continues to be my Sunday Fun   (5/5)

I've been listening to the podcast since day one, and I can honestly say that I've enjoyed every minute of it. Insightful, entertaining, what more could you ask for? Everyone who has been on has brought their own insight and brought a great perspective on the world tha makes me think, even if I don't agree with it.

Always nice to listen to Penn   (5/5)

Been listening since day 1. Never gets old. Thanks Penn for speaking your views!

Pleasant, smart, knee-slap funny, honest   (5/5)

Penn's take on life and how he filters it through his experiences is a joy for my ears. I cannot think of another smart celebrity who could hold a candle to his broad-spectrum ability to relate some form of story to a conversation and make it consistently interesting, funny and meaningful. I look forward to many more episodes. Thanks for your hard work, soulful honesty, dirty mind and sharp wit.

Awesome   (5/5)

I love the off the wall topics as well as their incorrect facts

Great show!   (5/5)

I really enjoy this show. There is great chemistry between Penn and his cohosts.

I love these guys   (5/5)

Penn is halfway brilliant and half the other direction, goudeux is hard to spell and Donnelly is the reliable narrator. Good group

Penn Preaches Love   (5/5)

When Penn says he doesn't know, I believe him. He comes across as humble and sincere in a way very few people are. He is one of those people who makes me think even (perhaps most) when I disagree with him.

used to be good   (2/5)

This was a great, fun, off the cuff podcast. They woud sometimes have a subject and let it just lead wherever it would go. Great stories from Penn about his years in show business and the people he's known. What really comes through is his endearing respect for Teller. However, with the recent election the show changed from being fun nonsense to more of the I hate Trump show, with allegations from Penn about sexism and racism that he wouldn't even expand upon. Not what I tuned in for. Maybe it will turn fun again, but for now I've taken a break from it.

What a modern day shaman sounds like   (5/5)

Stream of consciousness, for whatever small amount of consciousness that we can attribute to Penn, Matt, and Gouda.

Don't ruin a good thing   (5/5)

I love the show, and have listened since the beginning. I don't like the new 2 shows a week format. I listen to other podcasts, and now I have another 1 1/2 hour show to fit in. I want to listen to all the episodes, but now I worry that the show might feel diluted. I don't know how Penn, Matt, and Goudeau can fit it in to their schedules. This is why I stopped listening to the Adam Corolla podcast. After a while, you hear all the stories.

Smart, Funny, and Honest   (5/5)

Three smart and funny guys usually grappling with the issues of living and being a decent human being. Reminds me of the kinds of conversations I use to have in college, but with more humor and significantly less alcohol.

Egomaniacal   (1/5)

Penn is an arrogant, in-your-face Atheist. Boring.

Fantastic and fun   (5/5)

Enjoyable diversion each week.

Questionable   (1/5)

Penn is a libertarian supporting the least libertarian candidate in a decade, and the most corrupt democratic candidate in 2 decades. Enjoyed the show before the election. Now I'm questioning the existence of life (and unsubscribing.)

They kill it every time!   (5/5)

Penn, Goudeau, and Matt are hilarious. Their banter and take on topics are so freaking funny. Love this podcast!

It's Good!   (4/5)

I've listened to all of the episodes of Penn's Sunday School and will cop to the repetition a bit- the same topics *are* covered, in various ways mind you, over and over again. That said, I enjoy listening to the guys* discuss their lives and perspectives on issues. I'm neither a libertarian nor an athiest; that said, I don't disagree with them to the point where I can't stand the podcast and I agree with them enough to enjoy it a lot. On the issuses we disagree on, listening to their points helps me to define my own reasons for my position and helps me to express myself more thoughtfully and clearly when I need to. For that alone, it's worth the listen- and it's definitely worth listening to for the hilarity of the stories that Penn, Goudeau, and Matt share each week. *Maybe a lady's perspective would be nice? Not necessary, but surely there might be a woman who'd fit in well with everyone!

Penn is awesome.   (5/5)

I could listen to Penn read every rambling manifesto ever written, and know he would make it funny, interesting, and heartfelt. I'm much happier that it's a podcast about the human experience.

Great listening for Libertarians and Atheists   (5/5)

Penn is a phenomenal host with brilliant insight on current issues facing our world! You'll laugh while learning new stuff. His Libertarian and Atheist views are desperately needed in today's society!

If only for the stories   (5/5)

This podcast is my favorite of all time. Penn's stories seem to be endless and endlessly apropos.

Phenomenal   (5/5)

Super interesting topics. Really funny stories. Nothing not to like. Sometimes I fall behind in my other podcasts, but this one is on my “skip to the head of the line” list every week.

Preaching the love   (5/5)

Listening to Penn is a weekly ritual for me. Somehow he manages to make the world make a little sense. The whole family is a member of the congregation.

Great, funny podcast.   (5/5)

I can't recommend this enough.

Penns Sunday school   (5/5)

I love this podcast, I look forward to this every week. If I had a third nipple I would name it penn, and I'm a dude.

Great podcast   (5/5)

Love listening and hearing the fun stories. Very thoughtful and engaging

Awesome. I look forward to this show every week!   (5/5)

Awesome. I look forward to this show every week!

Never skip sunday school.   (5/5)

Penn and the gang never fail to lift my spirts and give me insperation enough to make it through another week. They have a live video feed of the pod on sundays.

A School Worth Attending   (5/5)

A fantastic show, it's like listening to three buddies tell very funny stories, with some interesting takes on what's happening in the world. Penn is funny, humble, charming and absolutely decent. Highly recommended.

Serious?   (1/5)

I can not even concentrate on the content because all I hear is his extremely loud breathing and swallowing whatever he is drinking. Come on man back up from the mic at least it's awful.

Amazing   (5/5)

Penn is an amazing person and a great entertainer. I appreciate these podcasts so much.

Longtime listener   (5/5)

Penn puts on a consistently great show whether it's on tv, on the stage or in a podcast. He has a great sense of humor and he's a very intelligent well-read fellow.

Diverse!   (5/5)

Penn covers a wide range of topics, and he is very generous in terms of balance. Highly recommended.

Love Penn and this show   (5/5)

I love Penn as a performer and and as a show host. This is a fantastic show!

Is Penn an atheist?   (1/5)

I've been a casual fan of Penn & Teller's for quite some time, and I enjoy listening to Penn's animated and opinionated stories. He's quite humorous at times and he's got a superb radio voice. But there's this joke about a vegan, an atheist, and a crossfitter walking into a bar, and knowing it because they all tell you with 30 seconds of being there (or something to the effect). I didn't get the "atheist" portion until I started listening to this. The guy's a professional magician and scarcely mentions it, compared to his religious views. Now if I really even cared enough to label myself, I'd probably identify an atheist (or at least agnostic). I agree with the guy! But when it's all you want to talk about, it's tipping your hand quite a bit. Can the guy go five minutes without even saying the word? That being said, the Gilbert Gottfried episodes are some of the best and funniest podcasting I've ever heard. I'd like to be honest and give it 2 or 3 stars, but to combat all of the blind 5 star ratings...

Preaching love for sure!   (4/5)

Atheists with odd diets talking about anything from religion to politics. Fun times, even the ads are entertaining. Sleep IQ!

Good Christian Fun   (5/5)

Brothers and sisters prepare to be enlightened by the good preacher Penn and co. ... sometimes funny sometimes heavy always good. Thank you Penn.

Best podcast   (5/5)

My favorite podcast, I end up listening to the whole thing in one sitting then try to figure out what to do the other 6 days of the week. Surprises me all the time with his views and thoughts on different topics and challenges me to see things differently and question my views on some things I thought I had figured out.

Extreme dieting and Donald Trump   (1/5)

Lately the show has turned into nothing but diet talk and Donald Trump news. Penn and the guys have lost a ton of weight and that is awesome. I don't need diet tips from a guy locked up (voluntarily) on a 21-day fast. I'm going to take a break and try the podcast again in the future.

Wonderful Group of People   (5/5)

This podcast is a joy to listen too. I have listened to the entire back catalogue and now am sad there is only an episode a week. Keep preaching the love!

Love it.   (5/5)

Never miss an episode!

Interesting perspective   (5/5)

Not a libertarian, nor an atheist, but enjoy Penn and his cohorts' perspective on current events. They also have some good guests on the show. They even make the advertisements semi-entertaining (at least the first 10 times you hear them). Definitely worth a listen.

May Make You Laugh   (3/5)

The Good: We'll produced, often funny, and insights into to the world of media and magic. The Bad: Redundant stories. The Ugly: So politically off the mark that they accept irrational immoralities then manufacture poor excuses to retain these ideologies held secure in their cognitive dissonance which prevents them from seeing how hypocritical they are. On top of that, Penn rationalizes that hypocrisy is ok because he lacks the integrity to admit his criticisms against others can often be applied to him as well. Unsurprisingly, his sycophantic obsequious crew of employees agree with him.

Best podcast   (5/5)

I've been a loyal listener since the beginning. Always look forward to the week's episode.

Late to the Penn party   (5/5)

As a longtime fan of Penn I am happy to have stumbled upon this podcast. The outspoken trickster is great listening to pass the time at work or whatever it is your doing really- with so many podcast to choose from I can't recommend this one enough!! I'm late to this one but glad to have subscribed..

Boring   (1/5)

I love Penn, but this is too boring.

Love Penn and the M's   (5/5)

It has become my favorite podcast. I fell in love when Penn was telling stories about being a teenage juggler on local TV, I almost crashed the car from laughing.

Love it!   (5/5)

Love it!!

Love it.   (5/5)

Penn and company are great, always entertaining no matter what the topic, guest or circumstances. My personal favorite was the interview with Paul Williams.

Awesome podcast   (5/5)

I look forward to listening to Penn and his friends every week!

Best podcast available   (5/5)

Wow, as hard as he works... I'm glad you do this. All of the crew is awesome. I've seen penn and teller in Vegas live a couple times. Best show in Vegas!!

Everything Penn   (5/5)

If you like any of Penn's beliefs, past and present, you will love this podcast. It's not always political, it's not always atheist. That's just fine, because the stories that come in between those points are just great. A wonderful podcast with a great supporting cast of Matt Donnelly and Michael Goudeau.

Sean Connery   (5/5)

I listen exclusively for the spot on Sean Connery impressions

Preaching love -- truly!   (5/5)

Penn is unbelievably intelligent, quick-witted, creative, and entertaining. He is a wonderful storyteller. He has awesome friends. And for all of that, he is incredibly humble. And bonus -- he loves you, and not because he is trying to impress his pastor!

One of my favorite entertainers   (5/5)

Penn Jilette's always been on my favorite entertainers. This show was a sure thing for me. After listening to it, glad to hear it's exceed my expectations and I think just about anyone with a bit of an open mind and sense of humor will enjoy this.

What a great find!   (5/5)

Every now and then I will search through iTunes for a new podcast. Most of them I end up unsubscribing from and deleting. Not this one!! i just discovered this podcast and am very glad I did. It’s fascinating, humorous, intelligent and often thought-provoking. Having caught some of the more recent episodes I am now going back to the beginning!! Definitely a keeper for me!

Absolutely love it!   (5/5)

Just listen and enjoy. Honest, fun, and heartfelt.

What more do you want?   (5/5)

He's a 6'6" 300 lb. magician who has the longest running show in Vegas and a silent partner, drives an electric car with "ATHEIST" vanity plates and says yes to every reality show that comes calling, has remarkable TV and movie credits under his belt....What I mean to say is dude has some stories even if he's hazy on the particulars. Start with the Asparajet episode 9/1/13 and enjoy! An incredibly original voice and life lived.

Interesting perspectives   (5/5)

While I don't always agree with the opinions expressed I always enjoy the show and the dialog it creates.

The Best Story Teller Of Our Age!   (5/5)

I've been a fan since the 80s, and it never fails to amaze me the stories of fan and celebrity encounters Penn shares. If Forrest Gump was a magician AND a master story teller, he'd be Penn. Passionate about beliefs without denigrating other's views makes PSS the go-to podcast of my week.

Needs more comedy, less magic   (3/5)

This is Penn and a few friends TRYING to discuss current events but mostly going off on tangents about their careers as entertainers. This would be fine if they only got sidetracked occassionally, but lately it's becoming 75% talk about life in showbusiness and 25% about topical events. I agree with Penn's political leanings and I respect his religious beliefs (or lack thereof). But when he talks about all the celebrities and magicians he's met over the years and the magic stunts Penn & Teller have done it becomes pretty boring. WAY TOO MANY ADS, TOO! There's a good 10-15 minute break in the middle of the show for ads. BORING!

Maybe...   (5/5)

The greatest voice produced by a human.

Pennis great!   (5/5)

I don't always agree with Penn (I don't think Penn always agrees with Penn) but I always love to hear his opinions. He is always opinionated, always funny, and always kind.

Love being part of the Congregation   (5/5)

It really is a must listen, enjoyed him so much on the Apprentice and found this podcast. Love his books and musings.

Great Fun   (5/5)

Penn is a man with a million stories and each episode is entertaining. Wonderfully fun group but would love to hear more from Penn's Vegas friends. Unlike the 60's, sit back and plug Penn's Sunday School.

Is it legal to marry Magic Dragons in Nevada?   (5/5)

Best episode of the series so far. Penn's interview with Piff the Magic Dragon will have you packing your bags and booking a trip out to Vegas just to see his show, even though it no longer exists. :{ I fell in love with Piff when he first appeared on Penn & Teller's Fool Us tv show and he's even better on the podcast. Piff, if the idiots in Las Vegas won't support you, come to San Diego. Granted, the same audience of idiots exists out here, but the weather's nicer and there's at least one buxom, pretty girl who supports you!

Most entertaining and intelligent podcast   (5/5)

It isn't all atheism or libertarianism or magic, though all of that comes up. More than anything else, it's just funny/cool show business stories.

Yay   (5/5)

i have missed the old penn radio show, and this podcast brings Penn and Michael back. Its off to a great start and is another Great podcast to my Weekly list It's not Rocket Science Batman, Download it now

Become a member of the Congregation   (5/5)

Always opinionated and impressively rational, Penn takes on the passive sheep of the world and advances the practice of skepticism to high art. It doesn't hurt that he has a wicked laugh and enjoys a boiled dinner.

Always funny   (5/5)

Penn never disapoints! Great stories combined with wacky discussions on a variety of topics. If you need a dose of humor Penn is the perscription!

Amazing!   (5/5)

Love the podcast. Penn, Matt, Michael, and co. are a great batch of hosts. The main show topics are current, even if the pop culture references aren't (which oddly adds to the personality of the shows). I'm addicted, and look forward to each new episode.

How does an atheist say "Thank God?"   (5/5)

This podcast is a real gift to the world. Finally, smart people are taking back mass communications. I take that back, hard-working, poignant, prescient people are doing this basically out of the goodness of their hearts. They get to say everything you would like to hear normally, but can't because of the nature of a TV show or normal stage performance. This is behind the scenes show-biz at its best. Thank you, Penn & Goudeau.

Clear your cookies   (5/5)

I like this podcast a lot. It's not gold every episode, but there are plenty great ones. Anytime Gilbert is on is pretty entertaining, the Teller and Drew Carey episodes are awesome. Penn can go on a little long and likes to repeat himself show after show, but I still enjoy it. This isn't a heavy topics show. It's just some guys sitting around having a good time.

Wife Swap   (5/5)

I am somewhat embarrassed to say that I was introduced to this podcast by Celebrity Wife Swap. I was immensely excited to find out this podcast exists. Since I was a young, I've always been enamored with Penn and Teller. Also, as a recently opened atheist, I am happy to find and non-obnoxious platform for that mindset. Keep up the good work, I have started from the beginning. I got a few hours to catch up on.

AWESOME   (5/5)

Great insight in to the world. So happy I found this!

Goddamn   (5/5)

Profoundly entertaining for an open mind.

Holy Smokes?   (5/5)

This podcast is highly entertaining. In fact, I laughed so hard......I cleared my cookies! Great to hear you Penn.

I love this show   (5/5)

This show has taught me so much in such a short time. I love wicked smart people and just about everyone that is on the show, I feel are wicked smart. I AM a big fan of Penn & Teller's magic and that has brought me to this podcast. I am going back and Listening to every one that has been put up and may have to go through them again.

Mostly comedy   (4/5)

Penn often talks about his beliefs on this podcast, including but not limited to his atheism and libertarianism. However, this is more of a comedy podcast than a political one. Penn is one hell of a storyteller, with so many great tales from his long career as part of Penn and Teller. Most of what I’ve heard here is Penn being friendly and engaging, as well as funny, rather than him fighting religion. In that sense, this is more similar to Joe Rogan or Adam Carolla’s podcasts (comedians who sometimes have strong views to express).

Thank God for this podcast   (5/5)

I was afraid Penn would be a strident jerk after watching him in a couple episodes of B.S., but he doesn’t come off that way here. He’s just a big sweetie. (A little bit of self-deprication goes a long way for me.) He’s an interesting storyteller whose life provides a lot of stories, and his crew of cohorts have good chemistry. The podcast doesn’t seem long at 100 minutes. A few episodes in, I’m finding this to be a great ride.

7 minute workout   (5/5)

.5 min. of crunches .5 min. of sit-ups 1 min. plank 1 min. Bicycle kicks 1. min. Half planks (30 seconds of each hand) 1. min. Drug Pushers 1. Min leg lifts Love the show btw

An excellent podcast.   (5/5)

Entertaining, informative. Who could ask for anything more?

This show is crap!   (5/5)

Just kidding. Penn and the rest of the crew(M.G.)are,thank god, back doing what they do so wonderfully well. Witty, intelligent, funny, curious and most of all, human. If you're missing it,you're missing out.

Love it   (5/5)

Very entertaining podcast.

Thanks Penn   (5/5)

Subscribe to this podcast. Penn is the most interesting comedic storyteller working today.

Interesting ideas at times...   (2/5)

But I find this podcast just too indulgent. I have moments of agreement with Penn Jillette, and moments of staunch disagreement. I do appreciate that he takes the time to explain his thinking most of the time, so at least I know why I agree and disagree, which is always fine in my book. But, frankly, this podcast needs serious editing. The prolonged banter amongst those in the room simply works too long on the paradigm that this is interesting to them but it makes little effort to make itself interesting to those who aren't already in on the humor. I listened to two episodes because I had a lot of driving to do over the course of two days, but I felt that my patience was being way too taxed. There was a really interesting and funny story about fetching crazy ants from the Everglades, but this got surrounded by way too much internal banter that could've easily hit the digital cutting room floor. It approaches the kind of indulgences you hear on daily conservative talk yahoo shows, with plenty of dittohead appreciation, but little for a thinking person to really dig into.

Amazing podcast   (5/5)

I have been playing catch up on this podcast right from episode number one and wow is it a great listen. Listen to at least 5 a day at work! Thanks for the entertainment and keep up the amazing work.

Love it   (5/5)

Love the podcast, look forward to it every Sunday. I only wish they did an episode during the week as well

Penn Rocks   (5/5)

Good stuff by good people. Penn is open ,honest, engaging and well spoken

Great!!   (5/5)

So funny!!

Great show   (5/5)

It's a well-done podcast, that is always fun to listen to. Shows like this show why podcasting is replacing radio for entertaining listening.

Great show   (5/5)

My favorite podcast. Love the celebrity anecdotes

Atheists unite   (5/5)

Always a pleasure to listen to this wonderful show.

Outstanding   (5/5)

I listen to this every week without fail.

A bit of an exercise in patience   (3/5)

This podcast tends to include lots of long interviews with obscure musicians, it gets rambly, there are far too many ads, and there's the association with Adam Carolla who has actually said out loud that women aren't funny. Generally it's worth the time, though, as Penn has lots of interesting things to say. Definitely look up the one with George Takei. It should be required listening.

Fan   (5/5)

Brings the bacon!   (5/5)

This show is a great show to listen to no matter where you go. Its fun to hear Penn and the others just shoot the breeze and get some great guests to come in and talk about important things like the 1st amendment or other items. If you enjoyed him on Celebrity Apprentice or B.S. you MUST SUBSCRIBE

Love, love, love   (5/5)

Love listening to this show. Keep up the great work guys!

Penn Sunday School   (5/5)

So glad I checked this out! I'm hooked now.

Penn should make a video version of this show!!!   (5/5)

Every Sunday I laugh while listening to this podcast. It's awesome. He gets really interesting people to interview and great personal stories to tell. I'm hoping one day he'll tell how he wound up on Run DMC's It's Tricky music video. A girl can dream.

Great show   (5/5)

Mad me laugh the whole time!!! Great great show

Penn Jillette Rocks It!!   (5/5)

It's always so awesome to listen to Penn and his cohorts preachin' love on Penn's Sunday School. I download every episode and listen from my cubicle while I work the day away! **Thanks for being amazing, Penn!**

happy to see penn   (5/5)

Great podcast   (5/5)

Finally the podcast I've been searching for. Penn's views are insightful, well thought out, and funny. He covers topics I'm interested in and are very current.

My new favorite show   (5/5)

This is what you should be listening to!

!Dog On, Good   (5/5)

This show is literally a major highlight of my week.

The Best!   (5/5)

This is by far the best podcast I've listened to! It's intelligent, funny, and real. The jokes and conversation are adult and thought provoking and I look forward to them every week! Superb!

Funny bull s#|t   (5/5)

This show is stupid funny I love penn and his friends

Listening from the beginning!   (5/5)

I just started listening to the podcast but I decided to start from the beginning. So happy I did.

Great Podcast   (5/5)

Love this show!

Visionary   (5/5)

Best podcast there is! We need more Penn Jillettes in this world!

Preachin' Love!   (5/5)

It's nice to sit down and relax and have a laugh (or many) while listening to Penn preach (and rant) every week. I love his honesty and openness about everything he talks about. This show is a great addition to anyone's podcast lineup.

Enjoy this podcast very much   (5/5)

Fun, clever and insightful.

So embarrassed to call myself an atheist now   (1/5)

ehh. what an annoying terd

Honest!   (5/5)

That's the best way to describe Penn and crew. This podcast easily keeps me laughing and I might even learn something along the way! Give it a try!

Odd Duck!   (5/5)

In a Great Way! I enjoy the Penn being Penn, not your normal say what you want to hear or judge you for what you think, as long as you don't hurt the Monkeys! Love me some Monkey Tuesday!

Great Show   (5/5)

Great mix of politics, non-religion, religion, humor, and monkey news. This is my favorite podcast!

As fun as expected   (5/5)

Heard about this podcast on Kevin Pereira's Pointless, and I am not disappointed at all. Great podcast

The Best!   (5/5)

I look forward to listening to this podcast every Sunday. I love Penn's humor and the occasional dose of actual current events as seen through the libertarian lens. And monkeys! Love it.

Big man big heart.   (5/5)

Amazing and Penn is a very passionate person. Subscribe and you won't regret it ever.

Gotta love these guys!   (5/5)

Can't describe it. Just got to listen.

A Window into Penn's World   (5/5)

Preaching love. Indeed! :-)

Penn is the Best.   (5/5)

Very intelligent and thought provoking.

Smart, funny and as Clay would say... Ironic   (5/5)

Penn is by far my most favorite atheist libertarian Vegas performer with a podcast out of all the current cast members of celebrity apprentice. I love the podcast Penn. It's funny, smart and level headed. Keep 'em coming and I'll keep listening.

Penntabulous   (5/5)

This is the best doG oN podcast ever!

Always a good time   (5/5)

I really enjoy listening to this show while I toil away at my computer during work hours. It's interesting enough to listen to the entirety of each show but not so engrossing that it distracts me. I think it's akin to having several good cube-mates who are funnier than me and occasionally talk to famous people. Keep up the great work gentlemen!

Keep them coming.

Penn   (5/5)

Very good.

Excellently done podcast   (5/5)

Penn is a very outspoken atheist, and yet he is not offensive to theists. He talks about his Christian and Spiritual friends with respect and adoration, but there is no respect whatsoever for their beliefs. He interviews people that are always extremely interesting who always end up giving you a different perspective on the topics they discuss than you'd get from any other source. Peter Noone tells us about the scrappy side of John Lennon, Drew Carrey tells us about his diner fighting days in the early eighties, and George Takei does 90 minutes on being interned in a camp with so many other Americans on our own soil in WWII. And they barely talked Star Trek or even Celebrity Apprentice. I don't watch reality TV, but I can tell he's also giving us a side window view into the show when he talks about his experiences with Clay Aiken and Cary Busey. They are over a year into this, and every week their fan base grows and keeps expanding and more and more people anxiously wait for the podcast to come out. i even got to watch a live show one Sunday, and wouldn't you know it was the Drew Carey episode, so it was prerecorded.! But it was still worth watching and then listening to again when it came on iTunes on Tuesday. I am really impressed with this outspoken Atheist who proclaims that he reads his Bible every night.

Any independent thinker should love this   (5/5)

Penn Jillette's warm voice and friendly laughter join with his co-hosts to have a good time telling funny stories with his long-time comedian, actor and musician friends as well as more new and interesting individuals from all walks of life. A real slice of randomness and amusement, almost a variety show. Ad-supported, but when the live spots are so frequently full of humorous references to topics discussed during the main show, you'll hardly notice.

I tried to listen   (2/5)

I just can't listen to this anymore. Every now and again I see the subject and think it might be worth my time. I am usually disappointed. He has very bad opinions when he doesn't have teller telling him to shut up. Also, his laugh just grinds at me. It seemed jolly at first, but in time it turned into nails on a chalk board. Sorry Penn, but I can't keep listening.

Penn   (5/5)

Great show!

Downloading more and more   (5/5)

Going on a cruse and getting ready for down time. Downloaded several shows to take with me. Keep it going. Every Monday you are in my head. Great Job.

But that's a different story….   (5/5)

Larry Gatlin is a great guest! Super entertaining!!

Original, Seriously fun about serious topics   (5/5)

Collective of original opinions on almost every topic you can imagine. All delivered with the serious they deserve. Penn Jillette is an admirable host and just fun to listen to while enjoying this podcasat.

Penn is such interesting person, and funny   (5/5)

I love this show, and he is really interesting too, and I love listening to all the episodes

Don't know how I'd make it through work without it!   (5/5)

Love this show! Matt Donnelly was a great addition, that guy kills me! Keep the greatness coming.

Love it!   (5/5)

Fabulous show-keep it up!

Call me a fan!   (5/5)

Love this podcast! Just got into listening to podcasts in the past few months. Listened to one here and one there, discarding the ones I don't enjoy so much... This one's a keeper!

Love it!   (5/5)

Just discovered this! It's so much fun to listen to, especially while driving.

Changes your world!!   (5/5)

Listening to Penn's Sunday School has really opened my eyes! Everything from politics to monkeys to god...He tells it how it is! And his audiobooks are the best i've listened to! I just discovered PSS about a month ago, but i've downloaded and listened to almost all of the podcasts already! I wish it was daily :)

Great Show!   (5/5)

Penn tells great stories about events in his life. The show is my favorite podcast to listen to.

Forgive me Penn for I have laughed   (5/5)

I usually give podcasts the three chance rule. By the third podcast if I'm bored, I delete and do not look back. I was hooked on the first listen. Penn and his staff are funny, informative and entertaining. They just need some artwork with Penn on a cross....

A great addition to your weekly podcast consumption   (5/5)

Penn Jillette is an amazing personality. I was first introduced via the Penn & Teller show in Las Vegas. Their entire act intrigued me to the point where I became a rabid fan. I've been subscribed to Penn Jillette's podcasts since he hosted Penn Radio back in 2006 and I'll watch almost anything featuring Penn including Celebrity Apprentice. Add this to your weekly podcast lineup, you will not be disappointed.

Wicked Cool   (5/5)

Being new to Penns Sunday School i have found a great group of guys havin fun and keepin it real Penn has no filter and I love it! I think of myself as pretty open minded but after listening to Penn I find myself even more open. Penn is very passionate about monkeys, abnormally large crabs and lately squids without a single f&%k given. Listen and enjoy Penns Sunday School

Welcome Back   (5/5)

I was very pleased to find that Penn and Michael were back in the podcast business. I know he is not for everyone, but it is nice for some of us to be able to enjoy listening to somebody who is not afraid to speak his mind, and is not ashamed of his beliefs. As a realist, it is nice to hear a public figure who is not first thanking an imaginary being for his personal success. I wish him more of the same. Thank you, Penn. Your words have definitely given me reason to look a little deeper into my own previous biases and I believe have given me cause to be a better person. Thats a lot to get from a podcast.

I listen every week   (5/5)

Still Love it!   (5/5)

I've been listening since day 1 and the show keeps getting better. Penn and the gang are awesome! If my Sunday School had been like THIS growing up, I might have actually stuck around. Keep it up fellas!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

All the good things in life, especially squid   (5/5)

This is a great, fun podcast, and you might even learn some tidbits of real knowledge. Penn Jillette gets together with friends to discuss anything and everything, usually in very adult language. It's ribald, hilarious, and not for little kids. Maybe for them he'll have Penn's Junior Sunday School With No Poopy Jokes.

Consistency   (5/5)

You know the sort of product you are going to get with Penn! This guy never phones it in.

Great!   (5/5)

Penn is a big role-model of mine. I enjoy pretty much everything he does...including this podcast! The topics are interesting and he makes some great points. Give this a listen!

Hilarious!   (5/5)

Penn and his guests have stories that make me laugh. Penn's Atheistic Libertarian view provides a good contrast to the usual Democratic and Republican politics. It can get gross at times but that's jusnormal with Penn. He's the real thing just being himself.

Funny and Real   (5/5)

I can't believ that I can laugh outloud evry episode and at the same time "work" my brain on a variety of topics.

Awesome!   (5/5)

Thanks for a great program!

Intellectual Entertainment with Simian Twist   (5/5)

I recommend to others with an open mind who enjoy bacon, good music, donuts, Monkey Tuesday, and lots of laughs with a spattering of intellectual humor. But what do I know. JMHO

Great for open hearted people of faith   (5/5)

I know he's an Atheist, but Penn's views and humor is GREAT! I say this because I am a woman of faith. A wonderful way to spend some time! WARNING, he will make you think and defiantly will make you laugh! May this show go on for years! Shadow Rose

Great Show!   (5/5)

Funny, smart and entertaining! Penn is a hero of mine and represents what a true libertarian should aspire to be.

One of the BEST!!!   (5/5)

Love this podcast! Has got me through some long nights at work, thanks Penn.

Great Show   (5/5)

The main reason I like Penn Is because he has principals, and he sticks to them. He can also mold his principals based on new information. The show seems to be a stream of consciousness that I find amusing and enjoy listening to every week.

Excellent Pod cast   (5/5)

A really great podcast. Fun and interesting. I especially love Monkey Tuesday.

Awesome!   (5/5)

I'm proud to say I from Western Ma and love the Podcast

Great   (5/5)

Penn is great, awesome podcast!

Great show!   (5/5)

We need more podcasts like this.

Good   (5/5)

I like penn

Awesome   (5/5)

Penn is hilarious!

I'm the only priest ever molested by altar boys   (5/5)

Don't let the heading fool you: I'm an ex-priest now. Gillette: you are as sharp as a razor. Keep it up guys, u make a great team. Love your stories, and the fact u sound like regular guys. I listen with religious intensity, and find great comfort in in your social commentaries- they're fair and humble. My only regret is ill die without meeting Penn :-( Keep Preaching love

My favorite podcast   (5/5)

Great stories, hilarious and insightful!

Peon   (5/5)

I've always found Penn insightful. Even when I disagree with him I always find him articulate and insightful. In fact, I find him most interesting when I disagree with him.

Like a Car Wreck You Can't Stop Staring at While Driving   (1/5)

What I find so amusing is how comically closed minded you are about the fact that there is a God. No matter. Like I said, it's one of the things I find so hilarious about listening to you. Plus, listening to you helps prepare me tremendously when I have to refute my atheist friends and co-workers. Thanks for that. =) Unfortunately, I find some of your shows so boring that I have to skip to the next one, like when you had Billy West on your show. I was bored to tears on that one! Well, at least you're not some left wing, libtard, commie, douche-waffle which seems to litter anything and everything media. It's the only reason you got two stars from me instead of one. Here's wishing you all the best! Cheers!

Stuff more people should actually think about   (5/5)

I'm doing this for you since you asked Penn, because I want to continue to have more access to things Penn (and Goudeau). I unfortunately didn't hear about the old Penn Radio until it was already over, but I still listened to every episode a few years ago. Luckily I managed to stumble across this much quicker. I've been enjoying it ever since I found it a few weeks ago. I like that Penn talks about things that really more people should actually think about and have a better dialogue about. My only question is, isn't there an easier way to find out what Penn is up to? I don't do "social media" so I don't do anything on Twitter. I miss P&T's BS too.

Atheist, so is it as great as it should be, yah!   (5/5)

I listen to 15, or so podcasts at work... Penn's is one I love...

I look forward to each episode   (5/5)

I love the relative ease of the way the whole crew interact. Sure Penn is why I started subscribing, but Goudeau and the rest of the guys make it an hour and change I look forward to!

Be careful where you listen!   (5/5)

People will think you're nuts for randomly breaking out in laughter on public transportation. Smart interview, hilarious commentary, never a dull moment.

Penn Sylvania   (5/5)

I am a fan of penn and most everything he does. This is one of those things.

Simply great.   (5/5)

Most enjoyable podcast in iTunes!

Simply   (5/5)

Great podcast   (5/5)

Love listening to Penn and the crew on this show. Intresting topics and guests. 5 stars

As an avid podcast listener...   (5/5)

I couldn't ask for more... Love this show! Chaotic and insightful - funny and life affirming~

Great   (5/5)

Love it! Great celebration of loving life and others!

Good stuff   (5/5)

Love the good natured feel to all the conversations

i love Penn's podcast   (5/5)

5 stars for the best Sunday congregation!!!!!

Love love love it   (5/5)

If you like Monkeys, goofy stories, or oral sex. You'll LOVE this podcast!

Wicked good time   (5/5)

Love the mix of topical humor and personal reflection, tossed with a dose of the search for a deeper meaning. Keep it up!

Great show   (5/5)

I loved the 2 with Gilbert they where the best so far.

I love the show   (5/5)

Penn is delightful, and the show is amazing.

Consistently great   (5/5)

Consistently great. Interesting, funny and smart.

The best pod cast ever   (5/5)

This is a absolutely great pod cast. Intelligent topics with comedy mixed in the only way Penn can do it. Big fan hope it never ends

👍👍   (5/5)

Entertaining and informative.

Love it   (5/5)

Penn is one of the brilliant philosophers of our time.

Real dude, even likes strippers !   (5/5)

PENN Is the real deal. In the middle of a high-flying career which reset the way people the world over view magic , he makes times to inform, enchant and entertain his myriad fans. PLEASE listen to this show ---> and become a better person yourself.

Brown chicken brown cow   (4/5)

I love this podcast. Penn is smart, funny, and the behind-the-scenes stories are awesome. His supporting cast are excellent too. Sherrie's Berries not so much...

Great show   (5/5)

Great show with a lot of laughs.

Love!   (5/5)

I adored the radio show a few years ago and this is the same premise, except Penn doesn't have to watch his language. I love all of it!

Not bad but not great either   (3/5)

I like Penn and I'm usually on board with his views and opinions but I think he needs to have guests that aren't always all on board with what his saying. I like the podcast and I want to like it more but I think there needs to be more of a devils advocate on some occasions to open up some discussions.

Big Penn   (5/5)

I love learning about the culture of you. Need more Billy West and Gilbert!!

Glad I found they were back.   (5/5)

I enjoy it very much. Personally, I would prefer a little less Gilbert.

Inspiring   (5/5)

I guarantee you will feel great after listening to Penn's podcast.

Penn rocks!   (5/5)

I appreciate your show and entertainment. The opposite point of view is interesting and improves my skeptical skills.

Begs to question.   (5/5)

I'm just getting into podcasts since the app became available on the phone... Penn does great job of keeping things interesting.

Jillette   (5/5)

... The best a man can get...

Penn!   (5/5)

Best Celebrity Apprentice spinoff to date.

My life is better with PSS   (5/5)

what more can I say? It's funny, entertaining, and educational. Awesome.

Blowhard   (2/5)

Get to the point (if there is one) already... He talks a lot but doesn't really say much. Penn Jillette reminds me of John Goodman's character in O Brother Where Art Thou. The random cursing is jarring and completely unnecessary. Totally takes away from whatever point he was going to eventually make. If you're a fan of shock jock satellite radio shows then you'll probably love this podcast. Boring.

Yeah!   (5/5)

Good old fashion skeptic fun!

Fantastic!   (5/5)

Penn Jillette and Michael Goudeau discuss show business (old and new) and the human condition from the skeptic’s perspective. Throw in a roster of fantastic guests, such as, Gilbert Gottfried, Billy West, George Takei, and Monkey Tuesday, and you have a show that SHOULD NOT BE MISSED! -Dan (IF you are a podcaster, AND, you ask for ratings and reviews, PLEASE support the community, and rate and review the podcasts that you listen to! –[email protected]

Classic Penn goodness...   (5/5)

I'm reminded with each and every episode why I have loved, and continue to love Penn!! In no small part, my conversion to atheism is due to the work, dedication and COMMON SENSE that Penn exposes on a regular basis. Being forced, as a child to attend Mormon services, and having resisted their brainwashing efforts for the first 14+ years of my life, I had vowed I would never go to "sunday school" again, once I had found my way beyond their collective stupidity, and gained a measure of independence by getting my drivers license. However, I now gladly look forward to sunday school once again…. that is as long as Penn is in the pulpit! Thank you for a great show, sir! My life is just a little bit brighter [and substantially more logical] because you are in it. -Tiny

Penns Sunday school   (5/5)

Hilarious   (5/5)

Comedy gold

Penn Is A Talent   (3/5)

Penn is a talent but his atheism is his religion.

Awesome!   (5/5)

I listen religiously! Hahahaha

WooHoo!   (5/5)

This show is so good. Tickles me!

Funny and thought provoking!   (5/5)

This podcast is pretty freakin' great! It's relaxed, not too intense, and full of interesting stories. It's not an angry rant from yet another Evangelical Atheist, which is quite refreshing! Thanks to Penn, Michael, Ready Rich, Adam, and all the others behind making this podcast possible!

Truly Hilarious   (5/5)

This ranks up there with the best of the best in comedic podcasts! I anxiously await the new one every week.

Holy [email protected]&!   (5/5)

This podcast is great, I loved penn in bs and his other shows, and I love his style of having opinions and respecting others. The one thing that blew my effen mind though was the Bill Nye episode. Bill Nye mentions the dangers of New York on the coastline as I'm watching the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. This is one of those podcast that to me shows that there are people out there with real opinions not based on corporate agenda. Could do without the commercials but heck Penn's gotta eat too!

Preacing Love, Preaching Love   (5/5)

Of course I knew who Penn Jillette was, as it's hard not to have heard of Penn and Teller. However, aside from his stage show and various TV appearances, such as the late, lamented (if only by me) "Identity" game show, he was just "the guy who talks in Penn and Teller." Then came his two interviews on "The Nerdist" podcast, where he proved to be, perhaps the most entertaining person I'd ever heard. In one of his two appearances, he says what sums him up, and, in true Penn style, I'm not going to research the quote, I'm just going to paraphrase from memory, "Life is all about the stories you can tell. If it's an experience you can tell a story about later, it's worth doing." On "The Nerdist," he mentioned "Penn's Sunday School," which meant I had to try it out. Months later and I'm still working my way through the archives of old podcasts (It's the end of October, and I'm nearing the end of July, episode wise). Here, he is joined by "co-host" (for lack of a better term), Michael Goudeau, as well as Dustin Knouse (rhymes with "mouse"), "Ready Rich" Herren, Glenn Alai, and "Spicolli" (Peter Golden) all of whom allow Penn a weekly 90 minute pulpit to preach love from. Cliche as it is, while I don't agree with all of Penn's positions, I do find him massively entertaining to listen to. His stories and especially his enthusiasm make him a welcome addition to my weekly arsenal of podcasts that help me keep my sanity on my commute and/or when I need something to listen to while on the computer. This is one of those podcasts where you can't tune it out, as, sure enough, Penn will say something that will snap you back to reality and make you rewind to catch the context.

Great stuff   (5/5)

Keep preachin' the love Penn.

Fun and Intelligent (actually, that might be hyperbole)   (5/5)

Penn's Sunday School is an enjoyable ride through a myriad of (mostly) current issues, with Penn and fellows taking the wheel and making the trip both light-hearted and engaging at the same time. If I were pushing an old lady in a wheelchair down the stairs for a laugh, I'd definitely want these folks there with me.

"Digression!"   (5/5)

The taunt from "Catcher in the Rye" is apt here, as when podcast host and longtime Vegas entertainer Penn Jillette is bored, his topics ramble and fall off like a trail through a forest. But when he's engaged, as he is in a 10/2012 podcast with Lawrence Krauss, he's the synaptic conduit to truly engaging new media. Currently under the wing of blowhard Adam Carolla, that person's penchant for cannibalism has caused his own career to fall from grace. Should son-of-a-prison guard Jillette suffer the same fate, this reviewer has no doubt Jillette will rise to podcast anew, perhaps in a sparkling spray of bubbles from his own beloved bathtub. 'When the (aspiring) atheist is ready, the teacher appears' could be applied to Penn, the "Preachin' Love" answer to the media meanness that elsewhere, passes for entertainment.

Well worth the download   (5/5)

At 90 minutes, it is just the right length for my commute. My only wish is that Billy West could be on every episode.

Great conversation.   (5/5)

I just recently discovered this podcast. I enjoy the discussion and intellectual thoughts. I laugh ridiculously hard and learn at the same time. Well done. And who doesn't love monkey Tuesday?

Just get it!   (5/5)

Ultra entertaining and intellectual with a good dose of filth!

Awesome podcast   (5/5)

Wit, intelligence, humor, and Gilbert Gottfried. What more could you ask for in a podcast?

Good stuff   (5/5)

The politics, comedy and guests are all swell. Keep it up. I've been following since KROCK, the Crackle show, and now here. Hope the show survives until Penn gets tired of it and not a moment before. His Vegas show is also really good.

Great Podcast (and stream, if you can catch it)   (5/5)

Consistently an entertaining listen… topical, lively, entertaining. You don't have to be a libertarian atheist to listen and enjoy, but an open mind would be a must. Occasionally profane, but always smart - humor, opinion, observation and discussion.

awesome!   (5/5)

I love this podcast! It's hilarious. I'm a Christian but always willing to listen to other viewpoints even if I don't agree.

Love it!   (5/5)

Fun, thought provoking, really funny. I love this show. It's always a highlight of my week.

Phenomenal!   (5/5)

I'm such a huge fan of Penn and everything he does. This podcast is no exception

So you wanna seek truth then start here   (5/5)

As a young 20 something from an extremely religious background it is hard to find others that live to seek truth above all else and I have found that in this show penn is great and his book is awesome, you guys are not just some guys doing a show, you are providing hope for those who are seekers and skeptics. Thanks.

Great   (5/5)

Love penn and all the guys and guests he has on

Love it   (5/5)

Thanks for all you do Penn & co.

The show that changed my life.   (5/5)

Ive been a big fan of Penn ever since PennRadio on FreeFM. I stumbled upon that show by accident one day and just listening to how awesome Penn and Goudeau talk about atheism and science helped go from agnostic to atheist and from liberal to libertarian. They showed me about the joy of life, science, poetry, music, sex, freedom, good stories and monkies. Hearing Penn's awesome viewpoint about important topics is great and also hearing his amazing stories of his life as an entertainer is even better. The show is at its best when Penn is just talking crazy about nothing at all and Goudeau is giggling in the background. I hope this show goes on forever because I love it that much. As a 20 year old guy I cried and was depressed for a while when PennRadio went off the air and I've been the happiest person ever since its back. I turned my girlfriend onto the podcast and now she loves it more than I do. Thanks so much Penn and Mike! Looking forward to more great shows. And of course more...Monkey Tuesday ( cue music) LISTEN TO THIS SHOW.

Love the show.   (5/5)

Penn's podcast rocks!

Love Penn   (5/5)

Wish they had better guests. Still, I can't give Penn less than five stars in any of his endeavors.

One of the few podcasts I listen to regularly   (5/5)

Thanks for keeping it up!

Great show   (5/5)

This is a great show, keep it up!

The Best   (5/5)

I enjoy a variety of podcasts throughout the week but this is the one that I have to think, Do I devour it immediately or save it and savor it later. I usually listen multiple times.

This IS Penn's Sunday School!!   (5/5)

I really like Penn's Sunday School! I think the guy has a lot of heart, good stories, and a good give and take interviewing style. I do have to say, although, when he talks sometimes with a half of a cup of flem in his throat, it kind of grosses me out. Besides that, love the show, and would highly recommend!

Fantastic!   (5/5)

My favorite podcast!

Just add bacon   (5/5)

For the full experience, eat some bacon while listening.

Thank god for Penn.   (5/5)

Get me some Teller and I will be extra happy

Great Podcast   (5/5)

Thankful For a great podcast. My atheist doppelgänger. I'm 6'7 300 lbs in Las Vegas but a Mormon! Love the show

The fool says in their heart there is no God   (1/5)

"The fool says in their heart there is no God". Mocking God is shameful and Penn will pay dearly in hell lest he changes his evil ways.

Great show!   (5/5)

Always loved P&T. It's great hearing Penn on his own show. The stories are great. Give it a try!

Smartest & entertaining show.   (5/5)

Love Penn and his guests and their intelligent discourse.

Love it!!   (5/5)

I just discovered this podcast a few weeks ago and I can't get enough of them! Keep 'em coming and keep up the good work! :)

He's Back!   (5/5)

I'm incredibly excited to see that Penn is back! I listened *religiously* when he was on FreeFM, and I just discovered his return to the airwaves. Listened to the first three episodes, and they were great. If there's one thing I've learned about podcasts, it's that they only get better, so I'm really excited about this. For those who don't know about Penn, deciding whether or not to give it a listen, you should know that he's an atheist, magician, libertarian who you'll love to listen to even when you vehementley disagree with him. He's open minded and quite affable abotu his shortcomings. Brilliant guy!

AWESOME   (5/5)

Very interesting , fun , I love it

Love it!   (5/5)

This guy really GETS IT on so many different levels. What a breath of fresh air it is to listen to an intelligent person (and be entertained at the same time).

Never a dull moment!   (5/5)

Always interesting, informative and funny. Learned a lot from this show. No wonder it has the name "school" in it.

A treasure   (5/5)

One of those that is so good that you spend most of your time thinking how sad it is that nothing is eternal, someday the sun will swallow the earth, i will die earlier, penn even earlier and the show may go off the air even prior to that.. Nothing is forever but the saddest aspect of that is that this show will not go on forever.

Lazy Guy Rating   (5/5)

I never do written reviews not even to complain how horrible something is. This will be the only exception, and only because this is not only the most entertaining thing I have ever had the great pleasure of experiencing, It is also led by one of the most down to earth intelligent people I have ever heard speak. If the show was 48 hours long I would go out get red bull and listen to the entire thing in one sitting without ever losing focus on the show. (red bull because after hour 30 I would feel I was not giving it proper attention). If you are having an incredibly hard time finding something worth listening to I recommend this above any other auditory pleasure. I feel so strongly about this that I will but my real name as the Nickname.

always delivers!!   (5/5)

I've been on board since DAY ONE and have to say i have indeed never been disappointed.

Too Much Fun   (5/5)

Consistently interesting and funny. This is my new favorite podcast.

Only podcast I listen to!   (5/5)

See subject

Can't Get Enough of this Guy   (5/5)

I just recently discovered this podcast and I can't get enough of it -- I've downloaded and listened to all past episodes in record time -- insightful, sincere and laugh-out-loud-even-when-you're-alone funny. Good guests. My only criticism is his apparent love for "song poems." But nobody's perfect. Just scroll through those sections of the podcast. I also recommend his book "God, No!" -- ALL of the versions -- digital, dead tree version AND the audiobook -- read by himself. You can listen to that over and over again and not get tired of it. The chapters where he writes of his family are beautifully written.

Penn's Sunday School   (5/5)

It's the best. No BS, no self serving political agenda. I look forward to Penn's show. I travel weekly by plane, Penn's Sunday School is highlight of my travel week.

Could have been 5 stars.   (3/5)

I really enjoy this podcast. But since Penn has gotten advertisers my enjoyment has gone down. It not the fact there are ads it's the fact that they're so many and are too long. I wish that instead of inserting them every 15 minutes he should do them at the beginning or at the end. I listen to a lot podcasts that have ads but this shows ads are so abrupt and go a minute longer than necessary.

Mr. C   (3/5)

Outstanding!   (5/5)

Always entertaining and enlightening. Highly recommended.

Peen's Sunday School   (5/5)

Been a fan since forever (metaphorically speaking) & have listened to the 2006-07 podcasts hundreds of times. Missed them so much that I was stoked to hear about PSS! Essentially the same show, but longer & uncensored! Love it!!! Yes, I've watched all the others (Penn Says, Penn Point, etc), but the radio podcast is the best. Anxiously awaiting each new show!

Great podcast!   (5/5)

Lots of fun

Preach the love, Brother Penn!   (5/5)

Love the new podcast.

Penn is Back   (5/5)

When the old Penn Jillette podcast went away it was a sad day for podcasting. Now that he's back with Goudeau, the world is a better place. You may not always agree with him (I don't), but he tells some great stories, and that's what it's all about.

I want more!   (5/5)

I listen every week religiously! :p I work Sunday evenings, and ALWAYS hope they get the podcast up before I have to leave for work. Best free podcast out there! The only thing missing is Teller, but Penn does a great job without him. Everyone should listen to Penn!

Great show   (5/5)

Keep it up guys!

Love it   (5/5)

I am a liberal atheist but Penn's more liberitian strain is still informative, and he is a laugh a minute (or every 15 seconds). I loved the old podcast and am glad he and Michael are back. Dying that I couldn't get to Vegas for Bacon and Donuts--maybe next year.

I enjoy most of the show.   (5/5)

There's some good insight. There's a lot of useless banter. It evens out.

A very entertaining 90 minutes   (5/5)

The thing that I find so entertaining about Penn is that it doesn't even matter WHAT he's talking about. He's just great at talking about it. He's a story teller of the highest caliber. And this show is a good mix of comedy and thought provoking topics. You can't go wrong with this podcast.

Hooked   (5/5)

I first saw him with Teller on TV, then live years ago. Cool act, right? Then years went by and I heard him on the Adam Carolla podcast. Awesome time. How did I know he was also funny on the air? When I was stuck at a family reunion in Idaho and had listened to all of the podcasts I had loaded onto my iPod, I decided to download Penn's podcast. I started with the Paul Williams interview. I'm a big fan of and former player for Paul, so I was obviously biased, but I was so impressed with the overall interview and laughed so hard at the content that Penn now has me in his evil atheistic clutches. I'm agnostic but working my way down. Thanks for the cheer.

Very entertaining   (5/5)

This podcast is incredibly entertaining.

Better than radio   (5/5)

Penn is the everyman atheist. Love his perspectives.

Penn   (4/5)

I enjoy the podcast.

Great show   (5/5)

If you enjoyed his radio show a few years back you will love this.

Great!   (5/5)

Penn rocks...

I gave it a chance   (2/5)

But DAAAAAAAAAM the podcasts drag on and are BOOOOOOORING. Thing is I like Penn, his views, and his shows. but the constant draging on about athiisim it's like, um well a religion. We get it dude, you are an atheist, preaching it non stop is really a religion. UNSUBSCRIBE!

More Gottfried   (5/5)

My only complaint is that there is not enough of Gilbert. He is the greatest comedian of our generation. Love the show. Hope to see him in my sub box for the fourth time.

Wonderful!   (5/5)

I listen to this show.... Religiously? Keep up the good work guys!

Enjoy it   (5/5)

Fun, sometimes thoughtful.

Great for the office   (5/5)

I make our entire office listen to every podcast. They are enlightening.

Give it a shot   (4/5)

This is the only podcast where spiders are insects, dolphins are fish and koalas suddenly ceased being marsupials. I'm not sure this podcast knows what it is quite yet but, like everything else Penn does, he always gets better. And this will too. Curious to see where this project goes. In the meantime, I will support because it's Penn.

Nice pod   (5/5)

Love it love it love it   (5/5)

Smart and funny, Penn is a joy to listen to.

New listener: Love it!   (5/5)

Fun show, with great comments from Penn on any and all subjects. I LOVED his recent defense of the correct use of the phrase "beg the question." Nobody else gets it these days!

Jugglers are the mimes of comedy   (5/5)

Excellent show. Love every second of it. Great chemistry amongst the crew & always a hit. The celeb guests are always a treat as well. Just waiting for Arsenio and Gilbert to be on the same episode!

Laughing and Learning!   (5/5)

Penn keeps it timely touching on religious subjects and all things legal and not in this country. You can't help but have a good time here!

Decent   (4/5)

Penn is very funny and has many great stories to tell. But his co-host (Godot) is a yes-man that just agrees with Penn on everything... even though Penn's own beliefs are very specific and controversial. I think Godot would be agreeing with any host, regardless of where they sit on the political spectrum.

How refreshing   (5/5)

Imagine a show that talks to you like you have some intelligence, is truly and addresses issues that matter. Bravo Penn, Michael and the rest. You are a highlight of my week!!!

One of 4 podcasts that I will always listen to.   (5/5)

My time is limited, I try to keep my podcasts down to 7 on my iPod and only listen to 4 of them consistently. The other 3 are if I have the time. Penn's Sunday School is in my top four. As much as I like Penn and Teller… sometimes I find it difficult to follow / listen to some of their stuff (well, Penn is the only one to talk). But this so far is quite fascinating to listen to 87% of the time. Several of his Podcasts have Pod-Faded over the years… I am hoping this is one that stays around for a long time.

Love the show!   (5/5)

Love it.

Discovering Penn   (5/5)

I've always been a fan of Penn Jillette (and Teller, however, he isn't part of this podcast). Penn's Sunday School is an entertaining podcast that allows you to learn more about Penn Jellette as a person, his beliefs, show business, magic, juggling and so much more. His support staff are just as funny and bring a lot of value to this podcast. Penn Jillette is a celebrity with class (which is EXTREMELY rare). He values his fame, his craft, and most important, his fans. Penn does everything he can to show appreciation to us fans. Either by staying late after a show or by responding to tweets (as much as humanly possible). This podcast is another token of appreciation that allows anyone to get to know him a little better. This is a wonderful podcast and would recommend it to any open-minded person looking for intelligent entertainment!

Awesome source of Monkey News   (5/5)

Where else can one get Monkey News?

Penn   (5/5)

I'm a practicing Catholic who loves this show.

Great   (5/5)

It's Penn Jillette on a podcast. Funny, interesting and thought-provoking. Keep it up guys!

Meh.   (2/5)

Not sure how this got 5 stars. Penn's not awful, but he seems absurdly arrogant. I agree with a large amount of his philosophy but he doesn't need to talk about it for the entirety of every show. Mix it up a little. He seems to steamroll any sort of guest or news person he has on and he just talks about himself a lot. Boring and annoying.

The man   (5/5)

Penn Jillette is the man. Love the show

Penn's Sunday School   (5/5)

Love hearing Penn's views and Michael's funny remarks aren't too bad either.

Awesome!   (5/5)

It's do entertaining to listen to him

Guts!   (5/5)

People with the guts to speak their minds, even if not PC, are becoming scarce. Now that Howard Stern has sold out, the others willing to say it as they see it regardless of the consequences represent an endangered species. Penn is priceless.

Wish it was on more!!!   (5/5)

Love it!

Monkey Tuesday   (5/5)

Amazing, awesome, love it!

Monkeys are smoking again   (5/5)

Nothing is funnier than a smoking monkey. Consider Penn and Michael those monkeys. They talk about current events from a perspective that most haven't considered, and they do it in such a way that you're happy to have listened to the show even if you don't agree with 95% of what they say.

They're back what else to say?   (5/5)

Penn, Goudeau and friends are back in action! They simply own the space. An absolutely insane combination of talk and topics from all over the place. It works in a very entertaining product. I actually am enjoying it even more than the old radio show! if you want to lose an hour or so, give it a listen. If you don't enjoy this I don't know what to recommend.

Awesome.....   (5/5)

Love this podcast!!!

Excellent   (5/5)

My GO TO audio entertainment for the days when Howard is off. Smart. Funny. And not politically correct. Just the way I likes it.

Humorous and fun.   (5/5)

Great podcast. Penn tell it the way it is and even though everyone don't like it they have to agree. Can't lie about the truth. Hope penn will keep on "preaching" to the world for a long time

Awesome   (5/5)

Gives u a great perspective of things and at times makes u feel dumb but in a good way.

Thanks for the education   (5/5)

Penn is great! As a Christian I learn a lot about being good to others! As a human I learn a lot from others. Thx Penn

Great!!   (5/5)

Awesome podcast! Interesting topics and unusual viewpoints.

Love it   (5/5)

Love it Penn!

Fun and informative   (5/5)

Always fun to listen to.

Penn is Penn   (5/5)

If you like Penn, you'll love Penn's Sunday School! What more is there to say?

I love this podcast and Mr. jillette.   (5/5)

Awesome content and wonderful podcast. I like this very much and I am a Christian.

Juvenile   (1/5)

Juvenile and simplistic take on philosophy and religion. Occasionally humorous.

A 10   (5/5)

Waiting, not for Godot but for Gilbert:)   (4/5)

Best when Gilbert Godfried is the guest. If I was gay I'd hypothetically consider having some sort of almost sex with Penn. Screw Hitchens - I went from Catholic to atheist because of George Carlin. Then from atheist to agnostic because Joe Rogan made more sense. (Yes, the statement that be a white bearded man in the clouds that will make burn in Hell forever BECAUSE he loves me is not as weird as somethings I know to be true. I have played chess against the Jungian collective unconscious. Yes, I lost. Someone who claims they beat the collective knowledge of every human that ever lived is more insane than me.)

Great Show!   (5/5)

This is a great podcast with the great Penn of Penn and Teller. Even if you don’t agree with his stance on religion his views and ideas are very insightful and words to live by. Keep up the good work Penn I look forward to the show every week.

Big fan   (5/5)

Always enjoy listening to Penn, whether he's skewering or swearing. I love the fact that he's so outspoken about his beliefs, or lack of them, his love for his family and friends, and that one can be moral and good as well as godless.

Sunday school is in session !   (5/5)

Great Podcast for anyone out there who likes to think.

The only Sunday school I'd attend!   (5/5)

Absolutely love the show! Keep them coming!

Perfect   (5/5)

This a great podcast a little dull in the middle though

insightfully hilarious   (5/5)

must listen to this! penn and his guests have open banter and still manage to preach the peace.

Great podcast   (5/5)

Love the show keep it up Penn

Big Penn fan   (4/5)

As a big Penn fan I was excited to see him enter the Podcast arena. He's a great personality and always full of ideas and content. Great podcast.

Great Podcast   (5/5)

This is a great podcast. I really hope people will give it a try, you wont regret it

Sunday School   (5/5)

I swear to God this is one of my favorite podcasts. I hand to God it's worth listening to. All kidding aside, Penn really has a take on life and has not only made me me laugh with every episode, but has also got me to think heavily on many issues I would have not thought twice about before. Please continue Penn, we enjoy your POV.

Yes!   (5/5)

This rules!

Love it!   (5/5)

You can't go wrong with Penn! This is a great show if your open minded

Sunday night essential!   (5/5)

Great weekly entertainment!

The highlight of my Sunday.   (5/5)

Wouldn't miss it!

My best friend Penn   (5/5)

Very entertaining.Penn sounds like Cousin Brucie! Subscribe and have your thoughts provoked.
