One of the BEST true crime podcasts!!   (5/5)

Every episode is so intriguing and informative!!!! Whether you know the individual that the episode is based on or not, you’ll be sucked into each one!!

Fiction with truth making good stories   (3/5)

The Charlie brant case. How do you know he pulled a bag of co Cain out of the water while fishing?

Obsessed   (5/5)

I love how they take a deep dive into every case!!!

4_5T4R5.   (4/5)

Best Podcast I’ve Found So Far!   (5/5)

Ive been listening to podcast for a few weeks and this is my favorite one so far! Please don’t stop making podcast anytime soon!!

Brilliant... as usual   (5/5)

They stick to the facts of the crime and avoid over speculation.

Research worth more   (5/5)

I live in Los Angeles California and never knew that parts of LA there would be serial killers just around every corner in the early 20th century during watching Mind Hunters on Netflix and switching to learn more about Serial Killers lurking and planning to kill there victims while listening to Greg and Vanessa about the intriguing parts about the way these people had problems with mental illnesses and triggering impulsive inside there minds killing in disorganized or organized ways around the parts of California.😦

Awesome   (5/5)

I listen to this everyday and it’s great!

Seriously addictive podcast   (5/5)

I just started listening to this podcast and it’s phenomenal. The quality is really great all around. I can’t stop and am excited to go back and ‘binge’ previous episodes.

👍🏼👍🏼   (5/5)

Great podcast. One of my favorites!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️   (5/5)

Awesome podcast! Second podcast ever listening to but I’m obsessed with this one. I love that they dig into the psychology and what they went to during childhood. They don’t fill the show with their own opinions, they stick to facts. I also enjoy all the details, even if they’re to gore.

5 STARS!   (5/5)

I listen to this podcast during work and it makes the time fly! They are always keeping it super interesting and always have so many facts! 5/5 for sure! I love this podcast

Asking for a friend.....   (5/5)

Is It weird to listen to this podcast as I fall asleep at night??????? Asking for a friend 🤪

So good!   (5/5)

Informative and detailed. Stays very on topic for when you aren’t in the mood for side stories and banter.

Music   (4/5)

I really like the topic and the stories are good. The only issue I have is the music. It’s too loud and give a weird mood. Talking about killing but having a light hearted melody in the back just feels weird.

Intelligent and Factual   (5/5)

Love the story telling vibe of this podcast. I’m binge listening to it and will be sad when I listen to them all.

Enjoyable   (5/5)

I really enjoy listening to this podcast. It’s my first one I’ve every listened too. I’ve always been interested in serial killer and I watch a lot of snapped and documentary. It’s amazing to hear of so many different killers all over the work. Yes sometimes the details are a little intense but it’s what happened. The podcast crew are good with theirs words. Good job Vanessa & Greg!

👍🏻👍🏻   (5/5)

I give this podcast 👍🏻👍🏻 and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Very informative and entertaining!

Good podcast   (5/5)

For any amateur Crime Junkie like me, you’ll find this interesting. Large library. Only gotten through half of it. Would like to hear an episode on Aileen Wuornos. I’d also like to hear an episode on DC Snipers. Jim Clemente’s book “Call Me God” is excellent on the subject.

👌   (5/5)

I will take over the world and also I live in Florida so stuff like this is common. I love lissing to this podcast it’s so funny when the people die it’s like I can see them 👌😂👌 ya boi got some memes up in here. Every time they say kill, dead, rapped, take a drink (Also is it bad to play with yourself when listening to this podcast?)

Interesting   (5/5)

Great show. The narrator switches off between a forensic files voice and a dateline nbc voice. It's hilarious.

No!   (1/5)

The crimes are described in such detail that it is seemingly glorifying what these people did.

Perfect for work!   (5/5)

Every story I listen is narrated awesomely! Keep up the great work and research!

Racially Biased.   (2/5)

I enjoyed this podcast, but it seems that they’ve taken a liking to highlighting Black serial killers or serial killers who target Black people. It feels very racially biased in my opinion. Now more than ever shows like this should be more aware of the social implications when board-casting to a wide audience. Be it intentional or not, this screams racism. Do better.

My Very Favorite Podcast   (5/5)

I look forward to new episodes every week. This is a well done, well researched, and very entertaining podcast!

Interesting   (5/5)

I find the podcast interesting and informative. Well done both pair well when speaking. Keep up the good work.

This is awesome!!   (5/5)

I love this podcast, I used to listen to murder made me famous, but now it is copycat killers so I don’t like it anymore but this is just like that and I love it!! They should make “thanks Greg” merch it’s so funny they say that every episode

So uncomfortably campy, but here I am listening to all of it   (4/5)

I find the scripting and narration to be campy to the point of cringey, however here I am listening to the shows each week. I love the amount of information and the in-depth background and psychology profiling. I just have a hard time not rolling my eyes right out of my head when they say all the cheesy lines that they’re given.

the very best   (5/5)

i've been listening around trying to find a great podcast for an amateur crime junkie and i am so happy to have finally found it! there's no small talk between the hosts, it's straight facts/story. currently bingeing from the very beginning !

Rate   (5/5)

Very informative!

Serial Killers   (5/5)

My wife and I discovered this podcast on another service and listened to a random episode. Since then, we’ve started at the beginning and it’s our nightly ritual to listen to this podcast while unwinding from our hectic day. My wife is working on her Masters in Psychology. So, the criminal mind is...needless to say...of particular interest to us both.

Favorite podcast!   (5/5)

I feel like I’ve listened to them all; Minds of Madness, Crime Junkie, Casefile. This one is by far my favorite! No obnoxious small talk between the hosts, just straight story.

Too much extra.   (1/5)

They add way too much detail to the story telling. What people were thinking before they died. Even if they were happy or not. Just making up crap to make sound interesting but ends up sounding stupid.

Awesome podcast!   (5/5)

Best Serial Killer podcast to be found, excellent detail to keep you interested.. only thing I can complain about is when your trying to listen to a multi episode they are out of order and sometimes there are other episodes in between the ones your trying to listen to leading to have to pull your phone out and look at where you were, it not big deal and otherwise absolutely awesome!

My favorite podcast EVER   (5/5)

I have started from episode one and am working my way through almost 200 episodes. This is by far my favorite podcast, the hosts Greg and Venessa do such a fantastic job at giving facts and research while vividly telling the story of each subject. The hosts use technical terms but always do a great job explaining what the average person may not understand. I am from Alaska and personally can’t wait for them to do episodes on “The Butcher Baker” Robert Hansen and the diabolical Israel Keyes who was captured in Alaska.

I’m addicted!   (5/5)

My favorite podcast so far and I have 5 that I love! Keep up the good work 👌🏽

Wow   (5/5)

I started from episode one and I’m just goin straight through. I don’t even care who they’re talking about. No matter what I know about certain serial killers I’ve still learned things here. Fascinating.

LOVE this Podcast!   (5/5)

I listen to at least 1 episode per day.

🧐   (5/5)

I’m addicted to the way they break down the “why?”

Hands Down Best True Crime Podcast   (5/5)

Help!... I’ve recently been listening on Stitcher and for some reason, only PART 2 of the latest episode “The Torso Killer: Richard Cottingham” is available. Did I miss part 1?I can’t seem to find part 1 anywhere in the feed... Is it a stitcher thing? Please, help! The “Serial Killers” Podcast is BY FAR my favorite true Crime podcast, which is saying A LOT given the amount of true crime podcasts I follow/listen to. There’s no corny, cringey, useless banter between the hosts. No attempt at humor or inserting their personal lives into the stories. I personally LOVE the two parts of each story, starting from the very beginning of each demented murderer, explaining how and where it all began. They give you insight into the psyche, and personal life of each subject, so it’s much more than just the facts of the case. It explains how and why the subject got to the point of no return. “Serial Killers” is THE BEST PODCAST EVER! Hands down, it’s my favorite of the Parcast selection, although “Crimes Of Passion” and “Female Criminals” are a just a few of my favorites as well. I wish I could give 5 stars for each and every episode! -A dedicated NY fan

Ok   (3/5)

Would be better if someone drove the narrative and didn’t sound generic. They claim to not have a psychiatric degree then offer options on the subject’s mental state.

Fantastic   (5/5)

Amazing!!! I am tuned in the whole time. Can’t stop listening!!!

My new favorite   (5/5)

I love that they explain the psychological side of these murderers

If I hear one more ad for that tik tok teen garbage I’m gonna jump off a bridge. Please for the love of god, advertise on more relevant shows! Know your audience, for the love of GOD! 😭😭😭

Seriously Killer   (5/5)

This is one of the best podcast I’ve listened too. It makes you think about all the different type of people who could and be killers.

This is the best podcast of all podcasts   (5/5)

Serial Killers is Awesome!! The host’s are fantastic, and very knowledgeable!!! Don’t miss a single episode!!!

Love it ❣️❣️❣️   (5/5)

I love this podcast and in the comment section I see lots of people complaining on their voice but truly that really doesn’t matter. What matter is their content which is five stars. Keep it going you two. ❤️ ♥️ 💜

Decent content, delivery needs real work   (2/5)

Serial killers and crazy true crime stories are always going to be interesting, but that doesn’t mean that the notion of killing and serial killers should become joke-worthy or kitschy.... which it often does, and it happens some in this podcast. Totally disrespectful to victims, their families, and the fact that people suffer crimes like this every day still. The tagline is pretty gross as some have noted. I appreciate the hosts speaking objectively about the killers and crimes but at times it comes off as ambivalent and sympathetic to the killer. Overall good content aside from those issues at least.

Annoying   (3/5)

I honestly can’t stand the narrators and the way they present the cases or talk to each other. The cheesy way they ask questions or etc. I want to like it, it’s just... annoying.

Tried so hard   (1/5)

I really tried to like this after I ran out of episodes on Crime Junkie (amazing btw) and found this because it’s produced by the same people. It is honestly the worst crime podcast I’ve listened to. Their voices are so boring, it’s slow paced and a lot of what the say I don’t even see the point of. I’ll just wait for more episodes of CJ.....

What happened to 179?   (5/5)

Love this pod cast. No blah blah.

In depth   (5/5)

Very in depth look at serial killers.

Tone & Tag   (2/5)

The more I listened the more it really got to me, the tone of voice they deliver the story in. Almost like the heinous crimes are being glorified and romanticized. And that closing tag “have a killer week”. I find it disturbing and insulting to the victims and those affected.

Like nails on a chalkboard   (2/5)

The stories are interesting but the voices are hard to listen to. The first time I listened, I genuinely wasn’t sure whether I was listening to real people or computer-generated voices. It’s made even weirder by the constant switching between the two hosts. Why are there two hosts? They don’t interact at all, so why not just have the whole thing told by a single host?

👍   (5/5)

Greg and Vanessa are awesome! Really enjoy this podcast.

Tone of voice   (1/5)

I had to stop listening. The way the hosts narrate the stories really bothered me. The voices they use, it’s as if they are turned on by the horror of the stories. Like they are trying to speak in lowered sexy voices.

Love it   (5/5)

I like hearing about crime and I don’t like any podcast but this one is one of the best !!!!

Best true crime broadcast by far!!!   (5/5)

I listen to this podcast when I’m doing yard work going to sleep. Greg and Vanessa do an amazing job and they both sound professional and comforting, which is hard to do when you’re talking about murderers! I discovered this podcast a year ago, and I will continue to listen as I look forward to their new releases.

But she has done a lot of research   (5/5)

Thanks Greg

The best out there!   (5/5)

I absolutely love this podcast. I am a True Crime fiend and I’ve listened to any and all crime podcasts. Serial Killers is the best out there because they tell the background/story of these individuals and more importantly- breakdown the psychology of why they are the way they are. No personal opinions, just facts. They are excellent narrators and I love both of their voices! 5 Stars!

I love their podcasts!! So much time and effort is put into their show, so much detail and makes it so interesting!! Love listening to these shows!

Good stories   (3/5)

They do tell good stories. But does parfait like to spam you with new shows so if you listen to more then one par cast show you will get like 20 downloads of the same clip episode preview of other par cast shows i jus feel like they are all the same a lot of the times I can’t even tell the par cast shows apart killers to females killers then they will tell you the same story saying oh this person was also in a cult so we gotta over it on the cults par cast too. I would like it more if they just made one show had one feed 1 show a day

Amazing   (5/5)

I listen to this podcast while I work, and it feels like I’m sitting in front of a television. The details and depth of the descriptions and perspectives are remarkable.

Great podcast!   (5/5)

I’ve binged listened to enough episodes to now leave a review. I haven’t listened to a bad episode! Yeah some stories are def common and have been done before but I enjoy listening from different perspectives. Their voices are easy to listen to, and the episodes are nicely structured. I don’t like comedy murder podcasts, and find it hard to listen to a podcast I like due to my dislike of different voices.. I prefer professional voices so I do enjoy their “monotone” I’m picky with my podcasts, but give this one a try!

Please   (5/5)

Love this podcast! Can we get one on the “butcher baker” bob baker? A serial killer from the 80s here in Alaska. Or John bright?

Good content-bad delivery   (3/5)

Not much personality added to the story telling. The content it self is good but a human touch would add a lot to the listening experience. Very monotone, bland, and repetitive.

Great Podcast   (5/5)

Listening to all old episodes too.

Seriously?   (1/5)

Why am I listening to robovoices? I think I’ll find something more enjoyable to do- maybe a dental visit or watch some paint dry.

Favorite podcast   (5/5)

Love it

Love it!   (5/5)

I am absolutely hooked! I work 72 hours a week and I spent 26 of those hours just listening to your Serial Killer podcasts.

New listener   (5/5)

Was looking for something new in true crime and came across this! I have binged all weekend! So good!

I’m Hooked   (5/5)

Not your standard repertoire!

Screw the naysayers   (5/5)

The format here is professional. Theres no banter or comedy relief. Realizing that is the trick to enjoying this podcast for what it is. I love the layout which includes the killers upbringing, their crimes and a psych analysis. The bad reviews are nitpicking trolls. This podcast offers unique and thorough insight into the real life monsters of humanity.

I adore this podcast!!!   (5/5)

Clear, concise, entertaining but also educational. Pure gold guys keep up the great work!!!!

Great vocal talent, compelling narrative, quality production   (5/5)

Sometimes I listen to other true crime productions, and the only one that’s in the same realm of Parcast is “Southern Fried True Crime.” The vocal talent of Vannessa & Greg, along with the compelling narrative and audio quality keep me coming back again & again.

Interesting but...   (2/5)

I am so sick of hearing how Vanessa is not a licensed psychologist/psychiatrist. We get it. Mix it up and say y’all are speculating, or basing your assumptions on the serial killer trifecta or something. Your “conversations” start to sound so scripted, robotic, and predictable I can talk along with you sometimes for a minute or so on episodes I’ve never heard 🤦‍♀️😳 And I love Vanessa’s voice but when she does ads she sounds so fake it makes me physically nauseated. Tone it down, lady! Just relax on the over-acting. I’m sure you’ve actually enjoyed a product or experience in real life before.

Episode 174   (2/5)

There is a horrible glitch at time stamp 27:33 on episode 174. They were discussing vital information to the story and as a listener I feel like I missed something important.

I REALLY want to love it   (2/5)

I try so hard to like this podcast. The content and information are so fascinating and the cases are some I had never heard before. HOWEVER, the back and forth story telling is so distracting. The male narrator sounds like a recorded voice over and the sounds effects just sound cheesy. I try to listen to the content but half the time I find myself just wondering when the story will be switching from one narrator to the other. Disappointing.

It’s okay   (3/5)

The research is good but I would prefer if the voices weren’t so robotic and monotoned

Enjoy. But.   (3/5)

I enjoy this podcast. But I don’t think that it can really be called serial killers anymore considering it’s no longer male and female killers it’s now just the men. I enjoyed just having to download the one podcast but overall still good. Just wish they would stop splitting their podcast. They didn’t need too

I love this podcast

Meh   (2/5)

I have only listened to the first episode, so maybe I’m not giving them enough of a chance, but the alternating ever 2 sentences and monotone presentation is super distracting and unengaging...not sure I can listen to another episode.

I’m a psychology major and I love listening about the psychology behind the serial killer’s drive for murder. I really appreciate how this podcast takes it beyond just talking about the crime itself.

I’m not crazy, I swear   (5/5)

I love falling asleep to podcasts and I just finished Lore for the second time and I started listening to this. Its really great! Entertaining, and calming in a way.

Can’t get enough!   (5/5)

This is one of my fave podcasts ever! So well written and narrated! Interesting stories with great research!

Pallet killer in Baltimore.   (5/5)

I would like to hear about the pallet killer of Baltimore. Not many people know about him. And did you ever think of H.H Holmes being Jack the Ripper ? Review wise I love your show, I’m addicted to it. It’s on from the time I leave my house till I get home. Thanks

Intriguing!   (5/5)

Absolutely fascinating and addictive!!

LOVE IT SO MUch   (5/5)

the reason u should listen to this 1:its daily 2:i love their voices lol 3:i dont really like the ads though sorry 😅 4:theres lots of information and how serial killers think inside their minds 5: ITS AWESOME

Amazing!   (5/5)

One of my favorites! Love learning about all the different serial killers and what led them to Become serial killers

Great podcast   (5/5)

Recently found this podcast and have binged 40+ episodes and plan on finishing the library.

Can’t get enough   (5/5)

They tell it like you are in the story yourself. I listen while working and keeps my mind off of current events and personal issues. Some of the killers highlighted I had no interest in till I found this podcast. They keep it simple but yet very intriguing!

Amazing podcast   (5/5)

I didn’t realize I enjoyed learning about the different serial killers over the years but I do. The way they are told are great. I look forward to every week when another one drops. I can’t get enough.

Amazing and well done!   (5/5)

I absolutely love how they go back and forth with the storytelling and keep it factual. Sometimes podcasts *cough “MFM” talk waaaay too much and get off topic. Those feel like it’s 90 minute podcast that could have been done in 10 minutes. So, I thank you two for the wonderful podcast with accurate information, while being timely 👌

Craig price   (5/5)

You guys made him sound like he had a reason to do what he did. Pretty sure I will unsubscribe

I love this podcast   (5/5)

I love crime stories I’m an 11th grader that dreams of becoming a forensic scientist so when I listen to these I feel at “home” as I take notes and think of what evidence I hear in each podcast I feel as if I myself is working on the crime this podcast is one of my favorites along side crime junkie and cold case files podcast and many others I love these podcasts this podcast is one that gives me my fix of forensics such as forensic psychology and even a bit of forensic biology and chemistry it’s amazing

Weird accent   (2/5)

The reason I gave 2 stars was the host seems to reading straight from something. He’s very dry. I can’t get thorough it. And his accent doesn’t help. And the adds were even worse asking for donation is tacky.

Love it. I listened to each killers story from the Netflix show Mindhunter   (5/5)

This podcast is excellent! From the Host, to the content/ the presentation! truly Excellent, this show offers an awesome amount of insight into the minds of the worlds most notorious serial killers- the full side of the story- enabling you to enjoy shows like mindhunter more thoroughly & with more understanding. not surprised though, all of Parcast catalog is great.

Great podcast, questionable ad placement.   (5/5)

Great podcast, but cuts from something like “little Timmy would never be seen again...” straight to “Do you like puzzles?!” Makes me laugh out loud. Great content nevertheless!

Love it, but missing months of episodes!   (5/5)

I just subscribed and am obsessed! But quick question... Where are the episodes between Feb 10, 2017 and July 9, 2017? I just realized after hearing you reference past shows that I’m missing months of episodes! Please help me out here!

Don’t listen to the “political reviews”   (5/5)

Supporting Black Lives Matter isn’t a political issue Karen’s! It’s human rights! This is an amazing podcast. They always come w great facts, and always cut to the chase! One of my fav podcasts

The voice acting is dreadful   (3/5)

I’m sorry but Greg sounds like the robotic voice they use for text to speech narration and Vanessa sounds like the narrator of a low production 90’s cable documentary. I can’t get past the back and forth between Greg and Vanessa. The dated style of storytelling is so distracting I can’t really judge if the writing is any good.

Voices alternate too much   (3/5)

A bit too much switching of voices. I couldn’t finish

Consistently Worthwhile   (5/5)

I’ve been listening to this podcast on my commute every day for almost three years now. They cover such a wide range of both common and lesser known cases. I listen to many true crime podcasts but I love this one because of the depth of knowledge they provide. I never get bored and I always recommend this one for people looking to learn just a little bit more than what they already have heard about even famous cases.

Super boring!   (1/5)

Sounded like I was listening to news and not a story. Superrrr boring. Maybe meant for older people. I finished all of Crime Junkie episodes so I came here for a fix. Not my type.

No political talk   (5/5)

Don’t believe the reviews that say this podcast is political. They have an ad about BLM. This is a HUMAN point of view, NOT POLITICAL. Great stories, guys!

Great podcast!   (5/5)

I am in 9th grade and am fascinated with serial killers. I aspire to be a forensic scientist and this podcast really helps me understand all the things involved. I cannot stop listening to this podcast! I highly recommend if you love learning about serial killers!!

No political talk   (1/5)

I love this podcast it’s great we listen to podcast to get away from politics but you had to throw it in there unsubscribed now

Decent stories but back and forth too much   (2/5)

The authors go back and forth like every other paragraph. It makes it a bit hard to follow. Sort of disappointed because the info is wonderful!

Intelligent   (5/5)

The hosts treat their potentially- sensationalistic subject matter with intelligence and clarity— unusual for true-crime podcasts, and refreshing. I appreciate their focus in the psychological underpinnings of their subjects, rather than pointless speculation.

10/10   (5/5)

Love Crime Junkies, Supernatural, & now Serial Killers. Great find, thanks Ashley for the recommendation ♥️

Fantastic!   (5/5)

This and other Parcast shows are great!! And the narrators are top shelf! I’m addicted! Thank y’all for such great stories!👍🏼👍🏼

News Anchor Narrator   (1/5)

I want to like this podcast but cannot STAND the girl’s awful voice inflection. Talking like she’s a news anchor, NO just tell me the story without the obnoxious voice.

Great show   (5/5)

Just started listening today after it was advertised on supernatural. I am so happy to discover a new channel very entertaining and very well produced. This is deff on my top 5 highly recommend.

Loving it!!💕   (5/5)

Such a great podcast I really like how they tell about the killers earlier life,I really like how often they post also the whole par cast network is great! I recommend myths and mysteries. If the creators are reading this could you make on episode on one recent serial killer Ted Bundy?? Also could you do voice actors I love that on unsolved murders?!

6/8/2020   (1/5)

I am ( was) an avid listener of the podcast. Like everyone here, I find crime and serial killers interesting. However, on 6/8/2020, amidst a nationwide outcry for social justice, an episode was released about a black serial killer. Way to fuel the fire, and add to the narrative that black people are dangerous. Not to say that there are no black serial killers, but the release of this specific episode during this particular political climate was completely insensitive. Subsequently, a week after the release of the episode and rating dropping, the show starts with a statement about Parcast “ standing with the black community” overall, the actions of the producers were disgusting and unforgivable. I will be unsubscribing and getting my crime fix elsewhere.

Awesome Podcast   (5/5)

One of the best podcast I have heard! Always so educated on the subject, and soothing voices! Highly recommend!

Great hosts!   (5/5)

Good voices and inflections. Straight to the facts. I love them!

Soooo many ads!   (1/5)

25% of the shows are now ads

Absolutely off-point.   (1/5)

Like many others, I have continued subscribing to this show despite the ads, despite the personality-deficient presentation style of the narrators, and despite the pseudo-intellectual (but actually poorly researched) “psychology” presented by a person with no psychological training. But the June 8 episode is beyond the pale. How can you go through an entire episode about a Black CHILD, who you admit has experienced horrific, traumatizing acts of racism in his short life, and who definitely lacked any kind of support to help him through his feelings, and never mention the long-lasting effect of such experiences ON A CHILD? You talk about conduct disorder for behaviors that are (and were) absolutely typical for adolescents to engage in, as though the behaviors of this CHILD (prior to the murders) are somehow aberrant. They aren’t. And this is not even taking into account the cultural zeitgeist into which you released this episode. Profiling a juvenile, BLACK murderer as a serial murderer during the world-wide outrage about systemic racism is more than tone-deaf. It is intentional. Apparently nobody along the line of your glossy production process thought to voice objection- or if they did, they obviously not listened to. This is not a podcast or network that I can continue to support. I am unsubscribing from this and Cults.

Excellent podcast!   (5/5)

The hosts are very good and this podcast definitely gives me the creeps.

Siri and her boyfriend have a podcast   (2/5)

Ever wonder what it would be like if Siri herself and her boyfriend had a true crime podcast? Here it is. Well-researched. Scripted. Robotic. I keep waiting for it to pipe in with “if you’d like to make a call, please hang up and try again.” In theory the content is good, but it is SO distracting to hear the style in which it’s hosted that it’s impossible to move past it.

Inappropriate sponsor   (3/5)

So...the show is incredible. I listen to it to make my day at work pass quickly. The ONLY problem I have is not with the show proper but the commercial about Tolli worms. Seriously? A podcast about the unfortunate victims that were cannibalized? I’m sure it should be clear that THAT particular sponsor about enjoying being eaten by razor sharp teeth is HIGHLY inappropriate.

Why does Greg sound like a computer 😜   (5/5)

There are so many ads i mean it’s not a live tv show but the podcast is GREAT 😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀 keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Great Podcast   (3/5)

To all the people giving this podcast a one star rating solely because of their 6/8/20 episode, that isn’t exactly fair. They’ve done episodes with black serial killers before (and other people of color to be more inclusive), it’s nothing new. They’ve just never announced the race of the person they were talking about (someone correct me if I’m wrong). What I don’t like is that this is the ONE episode where they announce race, at a time like this when they haven’t done it before. Why announce race now? It just seems very thoughtless to me. I hope they do read these reviews and see where people are coming from. That’s my reason for knocking off two stars, otherwise this is a great podcast.

Undercover racism   (1/5)

I have been a subscriber for years...and have tolerated this bland scripted show because of the content. We get it Vanessa... you aren’t a licensed physiologist, but you can pick up an article and relay what you read *puts gold star on chart*. As I listened to this episode I found myself cringing throughout. Although Serial Killers come in all shape and forms, I found that whoever wrote this particular episode went beyond the usual descriptive narrative. The past few weeks have been a trying time in this country...and this is who you chose to profile? And the description of this “big ,black, hulking teenager “ who breaks into people’s homes. Really? This is what your team decides is fitting at this time???? The fact that you all pulled this from off the shelf somewhere and dusted it off shows that this was deliberate... and this during times were this country is calling for unity... you all present this. This episode had to go through multiple channels before it is released after the script is written, and it says a lot that no one thought that this would be in poor taste.

👍🏼👍🏼 two thumbs up!!!   (5/5)

Obsessed with this podcast!!

Tone deaf   (2/5)

Honestly didn’t mind a piece on a black serial killer but it was incredibly poor timing. I waited to see others’ reviews to see if I was being too sensitive.

Really bad choice in the latest episode   (2/5)

Out of all serial killers you chose a black serial killer and in the current events that is really insensitive.

Racist liberal episode   (1/5)

Way to go! Trying to take advantage of your extremely small platform, subtly injecting your anti-American theme into the meat of what should be a podcast, not a victimization of a black serial killer at such a time. Shame on you. Typical of today’s “bass ackwardness”!🇺🇸

Amelia at London’s Wax Museum   (5/5)

First heard of her while visiting MadameTussaud’s Wax Museum. And was floored about how child care and the birthing process was handled back in those days. Even more surprised at how a “civilized society” could stand by as these events occurred. Like a horror story straight out of the books, except, these people actually existed. You have to see it to believe it.

Really disappointed, June 8th 2020   (1/5)

I’ve listened to this podcast for a long time. But. I’m unsubscribing today. The June 8th episode was just unneeded and, at best, poor timing. After days of protests in our country and worldwide over police brutality and social inequalities for people of chose THIS week to cover a black serial killer? Which are EXCEEDINGLY rare (which wasn’t even mentioned). And. Wow. I had to listen to the whole thing just to be sure you didn’t take it in a better direction, basically blame ‘reverse racism’ at least three times without quite using those words. And. While you typically take multiple episodes and go far into the history of the criminal and their just glaze over drug use in a minor, barely mention his family, fail to address why this KID was out ‘casing’ neighbors, discuss any reason for repeated truancy from school (which I’ve heard you go into great detail for other white serial killers), and spend about 30 seconds about the significant controversy over life sentences (or death penalty cases) for juveniles. You spend so much time on other cases going over the histories of mental illness in the criminals and how that can cause them to go over the tipping point and every little thing in their childhoods that compounds a preexisting mental pathology into a killer...entire episodes even....but, you don’t even mention anything like that with this killer and absolutely just refer to his crimes as straight up retribution for being the victim of racism. This was one of three things: 1) the worst choice ever for response to current social issues if it was specifically recorded for this week, (2) an absolute and inexcusable oversight if it just so happened to already be scheduled for this week (several other podcasts I’ve listened to have decided to either record something specific to address current events or decided to skip an episode because they felt their topics weren’t appropriate to discuss right now and instead voiced their support of POCs in a short), or....(3) the worst possible option that this was intentionally selected and presented in what could easily be interpreted as a jab that racism can lead to retribution. So. Watch out, whites..... What in the world were you all thinking? I’ve seen at least three other reviews that agree with what I’ve said here, so, I don’t at all feel like I’m overreacting when I say you’ve lost a listener in me (also. Geez; Greg reminding us EVERY episode that Vanessa is ‘not a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist’ is just the dumbest freaking man-splain and has irritated me every episode. But. This week put me over the top and I’m unsubscribing).

One of my favorite podcasts   (5/5)

I love how serious and dramatic the voices are behind the podcast. All great, factual stories without opinions. Sounds like a story.

Tone deaf episode   (1/5)

Podcast is informative and straight to the point however their most recent episode, uploaded on June 8th 2020, at a time where everyone is well aware of the murder of George Floyd and the protests surrounding his death and the treatment of African Americans and racism that is so systemically present in our society, and the producers decided to release an episode about a black serial killer? It seems as if the producers are making a statement and are giving racists more ammunition. Now is not the time to bring to light black serial killers. Completely and utterly tone deaf. Someone who is already racist could use this episode as an example and an innocent person could be attacked, shot, or discriminated against. What were you thinking? How many people knew about this before publishing? Nobody thought this through? You have a platform, dangerous misuse of that platform is not reading the room and potentially adding ammunition to something harmful. Or was that what you intended all along?

Slightly tone deaf this week   (3/5)

I think we could have used a non black subject this week, given the current state of race issues.

Rather tone deaf   (1/5)

Why on earth would you feature this case when racial tensions are incredibly high thought the US? Instead of delving into the psychology of a child killer as you claim to focus on “psychology” of criminals, you repeatedly said he was ruthless and showed no remorse. Did you even consider his age as it effected his ability to even understand what he did? Did you consider the traumas he experienced? No instead you just called him a ruthless murderer. Who on earth thought this appropriate. I can only assume you chose this case intentionally. You lost a listener here.

Great podcast   (5/5)

Love this channel!

good info but...   (4/5)

it’s all good information and interesting, but i would love it if they showed a little more personality.

Great/spooky podcast   (5/5)

Good podcast if you’re into serial killer and how they think, I love how detailed they are in narrating the stories... keep up the good work!

Please consider listening   (5/5)

This is such a great podcast! I will listen to it ♾, because it’s so awesome! 👏🏼 good for you parcast, I appreciate your efforts! Don’t listen if you are squeamish, don’t like violence, etc.

Love   (5/5)

Great podcast. Love their voices. I am always happy every show. Hard and not so happy topics but great informative content.

I love this show, but...   (1/5)

I’m about to unsubscribe to all Parcast shows because of the redundant posts. I can’t even tell when there’s actually new content anymore because Parcast floods my feed EVERY. SINGLE. DAY with like five shows touting the A different copy of the same garbage 9 minute rehash of a crime one or the other show already did a full-length episode on. For real. Cut it out. I can’t see the content for the cluster, and I will never like the forced content. I subscribed to specific podcasts for a reason. Stop shoving vague, regurgitated drivel down my feed.

Best Podcast   (5/5)

I find every episode so interesting and making me want more. Each episode is so well edited, and I love it so much!

Psychology Student here   (5/5)

I love this podcast! I’ve already taken so many psychology classes; abnormal psychology and even the psychology of serial killers. What I’m saying is I already have a good basis of knowledge on serial killer habits, motives, and specific serial killers stories. However, this podcast still gives me cool little facts that I never knew, and I really like the way they set up the stories. People talking about the voices being too “dramatic” .. have you ever watched a serial killer documentary? Because I think this podcast nails it. Keep up the good work guys!

Great!!   (5/5)

Love this podcast!!

Vanessa’s not a licensed psychologist, but she studied a lot.   (2/5)

It’s like that shirt that says “I’m not a doctor, but I’ll take a look.” How about you get licensed individuals to comment on these instead of “research.” No offense, Vanessa. I’m sure you’re awesome. While you’re doing all of this research, what is the dude doing? Reading a script? Make the dude do some work. You’re better than this, Vanessa!!! Or maybe get your Master’s Degree, take the state test, and be supervised for years and get licensed!! Be better than this dude who says you’re not licensed. I believe in you! Very infomercial like. The narrators voices are very “BUY THIS AND YOU’LL LIVE FOREVER.” I should not write reviews when intoxicated. Or maybe... I should write more!

Episode 40   (4/5)

This is a great podcast. Except for episode 40 Filho is pronounced feelyou. And it means son not junior. Every time they pronounced it I cringed. O podcast e muito bom. A exceção e o episódio 40. Eles assassinaram a pronúncia de filho. a. Uma pesquisa simples e eu ia dar 5 estrelas

Please Put In Order   (3/5)

Please put in numerical order it would make listening easier and I’d listen more. It’s to hard to jump around from episode to episode

True Crime - podcast version   (5/5)

This is my first podcast that I’ve actually enjoyed. I’ve had a hard time wrapping my head around podcasts but this series makes me think I just didn’t find ones that appealed to me. The narrators are great and I like how they break down different parts of the killer’s life and profile. I also really appreciate how they make an effort to delineate the difference between behaviors exhibited by these perpetrators and similar behaviors found in other people that are not necessarily a sign of pathology.

I love this   (5/5)

I just started this podcast and I love it, while I’m cleaning around the house I listen to this and I gives me the goosebumps But I love it, it would be better if they didn’t include the quotes and who made the podcast but other than that it is amazing, keep doing what your doing!

Hoping for something more   (2/5)

I came to listen to the 2 episodes of Pee Wee Gaskins after I saw the episode about him on Evil Lives Here. I was hoping to learn new information but I just didn’t get it and there was contradictory information. I was just hoping for something more.

Great Podcast   (5/5)

This is one of the only podcast I can listen too! The voices are perfect for the genre. There’s no joking or talking about other things. Straight to the point!

Neverending Infomercial   (1/5)

Sounds like you're listening to an infomercial that won't stop. Too dramatic voices, talk naturally.

Just speak normally.   (3/5)

This would be a five star rating if it were not for the incredibly dramatic language and speaking. The entire podcast, both hosts are speaking in voices you’d hear in a dramatic movie trailer. It makes it sound so corny. I understand wanting to sound professional, but this is overkill. Just tell the story.

Masterfully Morose   (5/5)

This podcast is fantastically informative and suspenseful. While the crimes discussed are horrible and make my stomach churn, I can’t help but keep coming back to this podcast. This team really puts a lot of effort into this production and it shows. Great job guys.

Pros and Cons   (5/5)

I really love these podcasts, but it’s suppperrrr annoying when they interrupt in the middle with daily quotes and other podcast recommendations. I also hate that every single time they are always like, “You can find your podcast by...” But other than that, I LOVE this series 🙌🏼

Good, but...   (4/5)

The podcast is great! The emotion quotes in the middle of it, not a fan of.

G R E A T N E S S 😁   (5/5)

Love The Way How The Stories Are Told!! I’ll Rate It A Millions Stars If I Could! 😂🙌🏼😎

Keep Vanessa   (5/5)

I’m bout to serial kill you, Lamariajade.

Good podcast, annoying breaks   (5/5)

I love this podcast and most of Parcast’s library but I hate that they make us listen to other podcasts in the middle. I’d literally prefer commercials to daily quote or crime bites

Disappointing Interruptions   (4/5)

I really like this podcast, however - I do not like the daily quote interruptions and pushing of other podcasts. Nothing interrupts a good serial killer story quite like a daily motivational/calming quote.

Get rid of Vanessa   (3/5)

This podcast would be so much better without the woman co host, her voice doesn’t fit.

Good podcast but...   (5/5)

Stop forcing us to listen to your other podcast, like daily quotes, but adding it into the middle of the podcast.

Great story’s!!!   (5/5)

A lot of information and great story telling... there is so much detail in the story’s.. thank you guys!!

Obsessed   (5/5)

LOVE THIS!!! Found this podcast on my drive to San Francisco I loved how a good portion of these crimes take place in the areas I went to visit. This podcast is too good!

Best show on Apple podcast   (5/5)

I absolutely love every par cast show! I drive an hour back and forth to work and I usually spend that time listening to haunted places or serial killer or any of your show really! I was wondering if you could do something on Dennis DePue?? Thank you again love the show!

Daily quotes   (5/5)

The daily quotes in between each episode is not needed very annoying but other than that love the podcast

Fabulous, simply outstanding   (5/5)

These two do a simply AWESOME job! True professionals- give the History, background & the psychological history behind each case. So well done. Can NOT recommend them enough! No sophomoric banter or gratuitous swearing-just the facts in an easy to listen to, professional method. Professional done! Kudos to you both!

So so so good   (5/5)

I’ve been meaning to do this for the better part of a year now, this is my all time favorite podcast and I really appreciate the way that they never glorify violent crime and focus more on the psychology than anything else. I love love love this show keep doing what you’re doing Greg and Vanessa I love u guys

Incredibly dull   (1/5)

The content is interesting. The hosts are not. The gentleman sounds like a text to speech computer program, and the woman sounds like she’s trying to be an inside edition reporter. I tried 2-3 episodes and couldn’t even focus on it.

Too many crossovers   (3/5)

I’m really frustrated with the ad breaks that play episodes of “daily quotes.” If I wanted to hear those, I’d go to their channel. Now, there’s episodes of some other shows at the end of the episode, too! I like this show most of the time, and have listened to it in bed for a long while. Now I can’t enjoy it that way, because instead of waiting out a 30 or 60 second ad break, I have to fast forward through several minutes of daily quotes.

No one wants to hear stupid daily quotes   (2/5)

Or “sound bites” please quit flooding podcast app with these stupid sound bites. It makes me want to unsubscribe from every single parcast podcast.

Simply Outstanding   (5/5)

Fantastic storytelling! Regardless of how familiar I am with the content; this podcast conveys the facts with a fresh spin. Kudos!!!

My TREAT!   (5/5)

I so look forward to their next episode. It makes this lockdown bearable. Thank you for all the research and details that you put into each case.

Excellent research   (5/5)

Superb presenters! They don’t rush the story or ignore including documented research while still keeping you hooked. 100% recommend.

Loved the earlier format but still really good   (5/5)

I appreciate the psychological angle of this podcast, I wish the more recent ones had kept the more conversational tone of the very early episodes. The topic is already heavy, having the scripted back and forth felt a bit lighter than the current lecture-like format. All in all a worthwhile listen.

Stories are ok   (3/5)

I really wanted to like this. Seems a bit racist.

Fantastic format   (5/5)

Love the Podcast. Diving into the past and focusing on the mental aspects of each serial killer, provides a new look into the minds of these psychopaths. As difficult as it is, I’d be interested to hear a 2-part episode on the Toolbox Killers.

Another great paracast   (5/5)

I stumbled across this one and now I look forward to it and wish for more frequent new episodes!

It’s only kind of okay 😢   (3/5)

Was really hoping this one would be better, this is a really well thought out and researched podcast, but honestly the announcers are a bit boring and there are at least ten minutes of ads in each episode. If you’re looking for something exciting definitely go somewhere else

High quality, highly informative and entertaining   (5/5)

This podcast is very well done. It’s a serious look at people who kill. It’s VERY well researched and delivered in a way that will not bore you. This a serious look at people who do the unthinkable, so you’re going to get a lot of information in one show.

True Crime Lovers and Murderinos- This is for You!   (5/5)

I love true crime and have been listening to, “My Favorite Murder,” for years so when I stumbled across, “Serial Killers,” I had to give it a shot. I’m so glad because I’ve been hooked ever since! The narrators lay out each killer’s crime with meticulous detail and give meaningful insight into the killer’s psychology, pathos, and background that makes for amazing campfire-side storytelling. Both narrators play off of each other extremely well and their chemistry, voices, and the way they explain each Crime makes you hang on to every word. If you love True Crime and the ID channel, then you’ll love this podcast!

Love   (5/5)

Not sure why there are such mean reviews. I don’t find them to sound mono-tone or robotic at all. I love that there isn’t any banter and they are very informative! Very story-like. & I love that they go into the psychological aspect of them as well.

Stories Are Good   (5/5)

The storytelling is very good, but can you drop the line about not being a psychiatrist and that you’ve done a lot of research? Feels like I’m listening to an SNL skit.

Stop being so irritating in the podcast   (1/5)

Have you ever noticed that instead of saying you can find your parcast fav episode on Apple or Spotify by searching parcast in the search bar. Have you thought of how are people already listening to you know how to search and what to search. So stop irritating us by saying how and where to find you brain dead people.

Very well done.   (5/5)

This show is really good, well researched and produced. It gave me nightmares, it’s that good.

👍   (5/5)

Another great episode

Hands down best podcast on serial killers   (5/5)

Most other serial killer podcasters I’ve listened to speak in a valley girl vernacular and are unoriginal and unorganized. Other podcast don’t come close to this because they provide credible information and research while remain entertaining.

4/5   (4/5)

Pretty good for the most part, but the ads and “breaks” do get a bit tiring. It’s a podcast, not a live show.

Thank you!   (5/5)

All I can say is thank you so much! Iv finished female criminals, serial killers, mythology, tales, and extraterrestrials... you all are AMAZING!! I can’t say enough how you all have helped keep me sane during the corona virus outbreak. I’m extremely extroverted and listening to you all it feels like I’m getting an abundance of information, education, and understanding. I will be buying Merc as soon as I get back into work! I have to brag and show y’all off to the USDA. Thanks again, much love to you all

Great product   (5/5)

I have listened to many podcasts that has to do with serial killers and of all this podcast brings me into the story like a great book or famous movie. Great job guys please keep it going.

Love listening while work!   (5/5)

Please keep making new ones I love listening while I work everyday!

Like listening to two robots   (1/5)

This is so odd. The voices don’t sound real and the hosts do this beyond annoying/weird back and forth sentence swap with the script. Too bad because I imagine that the stories are interesting

Great crime podcast   (5/5)

Parcast has the BEST podcasts!! I love listening during the day as I work from home

It’s ok   (3/5)

I want to like this podcast but the disclaimer and the robotic voice of the male host is hard to listen to.

Serial Obsessed   (5/5)

I love that isn’t a ton of banter right to the story and facts. Binged all episodes love it I went to par and it says nothing available I’m sad want a serial killer shirt.

Love this podcast.   (5/5)

I just recently started listening to podcasts and I love this one. I have already listened to all the episodes and look forward to hearing more.

Happy I found this podcast.   (5/5)

Such an interesting and informative podcast about serial killers. Definitely worth a listen.

Debunking the Bad Reviews.   (5/5)

I read through the majority of the reviews, and I’m seeing lots of negativity! I absolutely love Vanessa’s disclaimer, and I love “thanks, Greg”. I’m actually a bit disappointed if she doesn’t thank Greg! As a professional podcast, I think suggesting other podcasts and ads in their network is necessary and certainly acceptable. Also, scripting is very helpful in the writing and recording process of a podcast. There are certain points and comments a host must make and if they aren’t carefully planned out they will likely miss things they meant to say. If it’s free lance, it can kind of drone on without an organized plot. That being said, I definitely do enjoy this podcast and have absolutely nothing negative to say!

great except..   (4/5)

this is a good podcast but certain things get on my nerves, such as the freaking vanessa disclaimer. she never claimed to be a licensed anything and if you really must disclaim that put it in the podcast description instead of annoying us every freaking episode. also, stop reminding us that we can listen to the podcast for free on various platforms. we know that already because we’re LISTENING RIGHT NOW. and please stop nagging people to leave a 5 star review. in my opinion there’s just a lot of extra stuff that doesn’t need to be included in every single freaking podcast, it’s REALLY annoying. that being said i like the hosts and the stories are interesting. there is a bit of glamorizing though.

Obvious racial bias   (1/5)

The writers show an obvious racial bias. It is most pronounced while listening to the Grim Sleeper episode where the Black female victims are called prostitutes dozens of times with the one time they refer to the women as sex workers they follow it up with “as they prefer to be called”. But, in the Green River Killer episode the hosts call the predominately white victims sex workers with no caveats... There were other issues with their sociological evaluations of the circumstances of the grim sleeper murders widely glossing over the racism that allowed for these murders to happen and is still being perpetrated by micro-aggressions and dog whistle racism such as was demonstrated in the Grim Sleeper episode. Additionally in multiple episodes they referenced minors who were obvious victims of human trafficking as working as prostitutes. A minor can not consent to sex, especially not to transactional sex therefore they are victims in every context. This show’s tone gives more respect to the killers than they do their victims. I wish I could give it zero stars but since I have to give it at least one star i will say its only redeeming quality is that some episodes have been decent and well researched. I have listened to many Parcast podcasts. This one is better than most with regards to host interaction, most of the other ones sounds like two different recordings obviously overlayed, this one seems like almost like a genuine conversation.

Marines not Soldiers   (4/5)

I love this podcast and was listening to the Scorecard Killer episode and I just need to correct that Marines are not Soldiers. As an person who lives near Camp Pendleton and knows several marines who would be ticked off to be called soldiers lol

This show haunts me   (5/5)

It's so good, and so scary. I mean how are there so many serial killers 😳

Thorough and Entertaining   (5/5)

There are no liberal or anti-military views presented in any of these accounts. However, there ARE in-depth, unflinching explorations of the characters and crimes of these disturbed humans, which are presented in an entertaining and informative format.

Love It   (5/5)

I absolutely love this podcast. I listen while I’m working most of the time and it makes my work day a breeze. Keep the episodes coming.

An Ok show.   (3/5)

Despite its highly anti military and extreme liberal views it’s interesting to a degree. Highly scripted with no free flowing conversations about the subject. I’ve always been interested in the subject and they are prolific in putting episodes out and that’s why I listen to as I drive across the country.

Thelonleyintrovert   (5/5)

The podcast is great! I listen to mystery’s while trying to fall asleep and the talking is good background noise so it makes it easier to fall asleep! I have a bad habit of staying up so the noise makes it easier to sleep. But I have a question, will you ever do leonarda cianciulli?

Love It   (5/5)

This is now one of my new favorite podcasts. I love how they give details and backgrounds on the person they talk about.

Details! Crime Junkies - you will love this!   (5/5)

I am a Patreon member of Crime Junkie and I love it. However, I binged all of the content and couldn’t wait between releases so I started searching for another true crime podcasts. I was convinced nothing would be as good as Crime Junkie. THIS PODCAST IS GREAT. The amount of detail in this podcast is amazing, I love the analysis. You simply do not get this much depth from other podcasts. Also - I personally love that it is specifically serial killer content.

Parcast supports plagiarism?   (1/5)

Ashley Flowers is a known plagiarist who has yet to explain what happened with Crime Junkie and the accusations written about in Variety Magazine. Disappointed Parcast is working with her.

Love it but   (4/5)

I loved this podcast from the beginning. I started listening in early 2019 and have been on it ever since. The only downfall is they changed some of the podcasts. I wanted to go back and listen to some of my favorite episodes but I cannot find them.

Loved it but....   (2/5)

Lost another star. Get rid of the cults daily crap. Just lost a star, don’t need the rewind crap. If people wanted to listen to it they can go back in the archives and binge it or pick and choose. Now I’m going to have to delete/mark played every month on every parcast show. Wicked annoying. Love this podcast but can't stand the Vanessa disclaimer. You never claimed to be licensed, and from what I've heard you cite where you got your info/idea. So it doesn't matter. Also why add in up to two more people sometimes? Two is enough.

Great   (5/5)

The whole Parcast family is great.

great podcast   (5/5)

love everything that Vanessa does and this is no exception

Welp here we go again   (5/5)

I’m one of those people that when they find a new podcast, no matter how many episodes there are, I have to start it from the beginning and listen to every episode. I’ve done that with this podcast and they’ve been professional from the start. It obvious they love doing this and the banter back and forth between the cohosts are very amusing. Would definitely recommend this podcast.

The best podcast I have found   (5/5)

The story telling is amazing and their voice is kinda scary which makes better.

Awesome ! Well not the deaths of many people ;-;   (5/5)

I Really like this Podcast and it helps me draw because I get board while drawing so I Listen to this and it’s super interesting and makes me want to know more!

Solid True Crime podcast.   (5/5)

But c’mon Vanessa, get your freakin Psychology license. Just so we don’t have to hear that awkward and repetitive disclaimer ever episode.

Seems like they know everything   (1/5)

The narrators tend to not stick by facts, but go into psychological background that is mostly a manner of opinion. I would much prefer a fact based description of the situation, rather than have someone guessing about why someone did something. Also, it would be better if the narrators took turns doing the complete podcast, rather than switching every thirty seconds. That gets very irritating.

Great Podcast but weak psychology   (4/5)

I love the podcast and find the stories behind each serial killers’ lives captivating and informative. I’d give it more stars but the psychology is not very sound only conjecture. Psychology is much more complex than a simple research. And then you have nature as well as nurture. But Vanessa makes it clear she is no psychologist, I just wish her "research" didn’t come across as fact and that she would make it more clear. There’s also some politics that are lightly inserted into biased postulations without based evidence. Again I would take every information with a grain of salt. Do some deep diving research of your own after listening to form your own opinions. Having said that, I still enjoy this podcast and even some of Vanessa’s psychological babble. It gets me looking this stuff up and I do find psychology fascinating. It’s many of the reasons why I listen to this podcast.

Love it   (5/5)

So thorough and addicting!! Just discovered this podcast and have been BINGING

❤️Love ❤️   (5/5)

Love this podcast! Listen to it when I’m bored from this quarantine!

Perfect   (5/5)

Easy voices to listen to, concise, yet so intriguing!

Really Great Podcast!   (5/5)

This is a fantastic podcast that has a lot of information. It’s great for a background podcast to listen to while you do whatever you do. A few notes of criticism in case the creators read this: 1.) Stop telling me she is not a professional psychologist. I really don’t care. I understand you have to say this for people in case they start quoting her but it’s really obnoxious as it seems overboard and unnecessary. 2.) I don’t want to listen to SuperNatural. If I care about alien conspiracy theories in Brazilian murders, maybe I would search for ‘martial Brazilian conspiracies’ or something like that.

Great podcast   (5/5)

Really love the way these guys talk about these sick individuals

Keep it coming!   (5/5)

Great Pod! Please keep up the fantastic work! Have you considered covering the fascinating and still unresolved case of Israel Keyes?

Facts, no fiction!   (5/5)

I genuinely enjoy that the hosts and writers keep this to the facts. Not a bunch of mindless chatter or over the top opinions. They give the facts in a smooth, easy to listen story-like format. By far my favorite serial killer based podcast.

All the facts!   (5/5)

Best serial killer podcast I’ve found this far! Not filled with opinions and chatter, facts and details about these killers. Thank you!

Amazing!   (5/5)

Love hearing all these, but now I hope you do Aileen Wurnos soon!

My faves!   (5/5)

Hope this Rona is being good to you! Could you please do an episode on the Lululemon murder!

Charles Manson   (5/5)

Can you guys please please please do a show or shows 🤞🏾 about Charles Manson and the his “family”? I know I can find another podcast that already covered him but you guys are seriously my favorite when it comes to breaking down the psychology of the killers.

The show   (5/5)

I love the way you tell the stories you two work great together. Have y’all talk about the killing to the 80s in Atlanta keep up the great job Gus

Wish they’d talk naturally then it’d be perfect   (4/5)

Love the research and detail. Only thing is they do too much with their voices. It would be sooo much better if they talked naturally instead! It would be perfect then. Only reason I gave 4 stars.

Thank you!   (5/5)

Love the professional voices and research done on each case.

Music too much   (4/5)

The music should be more of a background than forefront during the speaking. It’s making it hard to listen to.

I can’t believe I heard someone in the 21st century say “penis envy” seriously   (3/5)

Lot of unquestioned applications of Freud considering his theories are largely discredited. Pretty entertaining, but not as psychologically sound as I would hope for a psychological deep dive in serial killers.

Awesome   (5/5)

Great podcast to learn about the minds of serial killers!!

My favorite Podcast   (5/5)

I love your review on Jeffery Dahmer. I have listened to that 3-part story, five different times. You guys are my favorite podcast channel. Thank you!!! I am a huge trie crime fan and you give me just what I need to get through my days.

Great but.....   (5/5)

I love these discussions how in-depth you get and look at the crime from several different angles, my only criticism is I wish when I listened it would play the next episode automatically when the one I’m currently listening to has finished instead of me manually having to start the next episode

Absolutely amazing.   (5/5)

Absolutely amazing descriptions of absolutely horrible murders. Facts, phycology, and theories. Lots to learn, lots to keep you up at night. 😁😨

Been spending quarantine with this.....   (5/5)

It’s awesome!!!!

Love it!!!   (5/5)

When i first started to listen i was a little scared but now it's addicting. Its also a great way to not be bored and learn new info during the quaritine. ❤️❤️

Good stories   (3/5)

I like the idea and the stories are told well. However I am struggling with the guy host, he sounds like a computer recording.

Great podcast   (4/5)

Loved all the details about the killers earlier life. Been listening to it religiously. Great job! 💀💀💀

Interesting but the hosts are stilted   (3/5)

Well produced and well researched but the narration is awkward - like the narrators are actually bad actors portraying narrators.

So well done   (5/5)

Great story telling, intelligent and always interesting..It’s addicting!

Awesome   (5/5)

This podcast is the best!!! What a perfect way to spend quarantine 😁🤪

Really?   (1/5)

I wait for a new episode and it’s a classic? That’s like the parcast version of a clip show. Lame

Great podcast   (1/5)

Awesome! They give lots of info, and explain in a great way. 10 out of 10

Pleasant Voices Very Enjoyable!   (5/5)

I really like this podcast. Interesting, well-researched stories and told in such an engaging, entertaining way. Love the histories of both the perpetrators and victims. Narrators hit just the right tone in their speaking voices. Recommend!

Addicted!   (5/5)

That’s it, I’m totally addicted!

Good   (4/5)

I like it. Nothing needs to be changed. It is good how it is.

Insight!   (5/5)

Even though what these killers have done are beyond forgiveness, I’ve always wondered how they’ve gotten to that point. This podcast gives great insight to their background. Great listen!

I love it!   (5/5)

I love this podcast so much! They’re extremely thorough and knowledgeable about the serial killers I’ve been hooked since the word go. Lol

amazing!   (5/5)

so educational and entertaining. im always excited when a new one comes out!

sound   (3/5)

Why the sound effects? They add nothing and are distracting. I enjoy the show but the effects stopped me from four stars. Seriously.

Mostly good   (4/5)

I (mostly) enjoy this podcast. The production values are high, the co-hosts are pleasant to listen to, and the subject matter seems well researched. I particularly like the psychological research done. Also, I’m glad they did away with the fake sounding banter between the co-hosts. They have a tendency to jump around the timeline a bit in the storytelling though, sometimes taking the events out of sequence. And the sound effects seem to be more prevalent than in the past, which can be a bit silly at times.

Serial killers   (4/5)

I very much enjoy this show but every now and then the stars seem to jump to conclusions or start adding their personal opinions. I listen to this podcast for the facts, not their personal opinions about police or military. It comes off as biased.

Apocalypse   (5/5)

So glad I found this podcast with over 100 episodes right before I could possibly be quarantined 🤘🏻

👍🏽   (3/5)

Great podcast but I hate the over dramatic voice actors. Aside from that it’s a great really interesting podcast!

Love it!   (5/5)

I love how they intertwine the crime story with the psychology behind it. I find it fascinating. Their voices are very soothing as well. It is one of my favorite podcasts. I have recommended it to many family and friends.

Worth a listen.   (5/5)

Great podcast. They touch upon different characters from the past and recent times. I like to listen at night or during long road trips.

Don’t love the hosts   (2/5)

I love true crime podcasts! I don’t love this one because of the hosts. They sometimes feel Way. Too. Into the violence and gorey parts. The man specifically sounds like he enjoys talking about what happened to the victims and it’s weird to me.

Great   (5/5)

This was great well on the road traveling. Very detailed

Great!   (5/5)

Love this podcast and the way the hosts present the information l!!

Incredible!   (5/5)

This is a classic true crime podcast. Very accurate and concerned about details, the important stuff you are looking for in most true crime podcasts. They cover great cases with a charming back and forth through out. I find myself being drawn back and back again.

“Biased against law enforcement”...   (5/5)

Please, elaborate on where these folks said to no cooperate with LEO? Also, nobody, I’ll repeat myself, NOBODY cares whether or not you’re subscribed or not. Whether you leave or not. Get a life, get over yourself and move along, child. 🍻 Also, I LOVE this podcast. Y’all are thorough, explanatory and concise. Thank for doin’ what y’all do. I apologize for the outburst at the front of my comment. Has absolutely nothing to do with y’all or your work. Keep on doin’ what y’all do. Cheers.

Long time listener   (5/5)

Good hosting done for well researched podcasts. I could do without the constant "Vanessa is not a Psychologist, but has done a lot of research for this show" disclaimers. We get it, it's a podcast, and she always cites the reference material. Also listening back to some earlier episodes, they did have a more "human" sounds to their story telling in the past that they don't anymore

Wonderfully written   (5/5)

Very well written and the presentation is spot on!

Well-rounded stories told concisely   (5/5)

The only bad thing about Parcast is that they’ll ruin every other true crime podcast you’ll listen to. The amount of research is unmatched and what I appreciate the most is the way they acknowledge societal context. Race and sexual orientation has and always will matter. It’s a disservice to every victim’s story if it’s ignored. The sheer volume of content they put out is amazing too. I listen to this one, Cults, Female Criminals and Con Artists and I have yet to be disappointed. Lots of consistent and great work coming from Parcast every week. The devil works hard, but Parcast works harder.

Biased against law enforcement   (1/5)

I used to be a big fan of the show until the episode where you started handing out legal advice to your listeners (episode 141). You told them not to cooperate with the police in an investigation because they will use their police tactics to get you to make a false confession. This is 100% biased, untrue, and irresponsible. UNSUBSCRIBED.

Wow   (5/5)

I listen to female criminals and I stumbled on this podcast my god soooo good! I’m so obsessed amazing job!

Great detective work!   (5/5)

I have been listening for a while and it’s true only podcast I can intently listen to all the way through. I have to switch to a more non interesting one to fall asleep to, otherwise I would be up all night!

Really good, but not perfect   (4/5)

I really enjoy Serial Killers, but the repeated generic psychology does get old.

Awesome!   (5/5)

The hosts do an amazing job telling these stories. I don’t listen to the radio anymore, love it guys keep it up!

One of My Favorite Podcasts!   (5/5)

Well researched, well paced and so interesting! The only issue I personally have is (I’m talking specifically about episode 126 here, Robert Lee Yates), the killer is almost always referred to by his first name, while the victims, after first mention, are almost always referred to by their last names. In my mind, this humanizes the killer and minimizes the victims. Just my opinion, maybe no one else notices, but it does kind of bother me. Other than that, love the podcast and eagerly await each episode!

Love these two together.   (5/5)

Great and detailed storytelling. I just hope one day Vanessa can get that psychology degree ! To me, you’re already a pro!

my favorite podcast   (5/5)

i’ve listened to all the episodes and i follow every new one each week!!! greg and vanessa are some of my favorite top podcasters. information is spot on. reading voices are the best. 20/10 🌟🌟🌟

Amazing!   (5/5)

Some people may find their voices bland or not having enough emotion but when talking about such a serious topic, their tone of voice fits the mood. To me their voices are very relaxing I use them to help me fall asleep😌.

My first podcast   (5/5)

I know shocking right. Who hasn't listened to a podcast by now but here I am. I have to say I'm truly addicted to the channel. If you love true crime and killers then this is your place. They tell you great information and facts in a very entertaining way. You won't be able to listen to just one. So get into those pjs put on your ear buds or headphones and get into the stories of some of the worst monsters to ever live. Trust me you won't regret it.

Really soothing   (5/5)

so comforting; it is very well researched!

Favorite serial killer podcast   (5/5)

I love this podcast for several reasons. I love how they delve into the killers childhood and connect these traumas for possible motive to have violent tendencies later on in their lives. Keep up the great work Greg and Vanessa!

Suspenseful   (5/5)

Love it !

Very good and informative   (5/5)

The podcast is done very well. Good narrators who keep the show entertaining without being exploitive.

Meh...   (3/5)

The narrators (which is what they are - the fact that they say they’re “starring” in this podcast is laughable) are pretty bland with little personality as they read their scripts. Other true crimes podcasts do a much better job at storytelling but I still listen to this one because of the content. Also not a fan of the last 20 minutes or so of recent episodes being used to showcase other podcasts - a 5 minute clip would be more than enough.

Great podcast!   (5/5)

I love this podcast and listen daily! The hosts do a great job with the facts and details. It would be great to hear about more female serial killers like Delphine LaLaurie or Clementine Barnabet.

Love it   (5/5)

This is high quality entertainment and once I started listening I couldn’t stop. Everything is described in detail and they know their stuff very well.

Pretty good   (3/5)

Pretty good podcast. Although i find the canned banter annoying. They are serious and get in depth. Quite good.

well researched and banter free   (5/5)

as it says on the tin, serial killers is a podcast that is very well researched and generally very well written, and- my personal fav factor of this show, as well as parcast's other richardson-polcyn show cults- pretty dang banter free i absolutely hate most true crime podcasts because they insist on trying to be charming and humorous. this podcast is entertaining because of the information provided in an academic and objective way. the new episodes especially avoid stigmatizing or fearmongering regarding mental health, and they talk about mental health and societal standards in an objective and compassionate way one thing- that standard "vanessa's not a psychiatrist" thing is smart like legally i think but hearing vanessa force out a "thanks greg" every episode makes me LAUGH

Perfect.   (5/5)

Very well researched. Amazing quality.

Great   (5/5)

Awesome true crime podcast.

Wonderful stories   (5/5)

The in-depth research helps put this podcast a step above the others. It’s very entertaining.

Stories are interesting but needs to be more credible   (2/5)

Good story tellers and the podcast is pretty entertaining in a corny way but that’s all. Wished they had someone more credible on the show. Just because you enjoy and google about psychology doesn’t mean you should be talking like you’re a psychologist.

Wonderful, but graphic   (4/5)

It’s seriously entertaining and interesting, but I feel like Greg and Vanessa linger too much on the violence. I’ve had to skip more than one episode because it got so gory. They’re usually pretty good with the trigger warnings, but not always.

Omg I love this !   (5/5)

I’m new to this podcast and network and I’m obsessed and love how well done the episodes are! Great work!

I’d rather be listening to this than music   (5/5)

Greg and Vanessa are probably the best voice actors for this podcast. Each story is told in a way that keeps the listener interested and on the edge of their seat. The stories themselves are also very well written and comprehensive, & both voice actors know how to use their voices to create suspense, rather than speak monotonously.

Amazing voice actors   (5/5)

Greg and Vanessa are my favorite voice actors on Parcast!

Good   (3/5)

Not everything they say is true.

My Favorite Podcast   (5/5)

I listen to every episode that comes out and anticipate there next show. This is one of the very few podcasts that get a lot of the history/facts correct!

Hello   (5/5)

Thanks Greg needs to be on a bumper sticker 😁 you two are awesome!

Love/hate   (1/5)

For the most part, I enjoy this podcast. I could just do without Vanessa’s conjecture . . . just stick to the facts.

Fantastic job!   (5/5)

I’ve been listening to this podcast for years. It’s my go-to! Greg and Vanessa get straight to the point and never disappoint. Keep up the great work!!!

Lame   (1/5)

The re-enactments are so corny and lame. The information about the serial killers is interesting but the podcast is ruined by the cheesy re-enactments. Want an idea what I’m talking about? Listen to the Jack the Ripper episodes. Also, just because you research psychology doesn’t give you the expertise to theorize what is going on someone from a psychology standpoint. It’s like googling your symptoms when you’re sick and telling the dr how to treat you. Just don’t do it.

Awesome   (5/5)

I love the way you guys combine and take turns talking perfect English 🙏🏼🙏🏼

excellent duo   (5/5)

Very good!   (5/5)

I wish we had more podcasts like this! They get right to the point. No wasting time. Very interesting stories that keep me listening!

Love/hate   (4/5)

I really like this podcast, but I really hate the unnecessary audio re-enactments, especially the cheesy voices and sound effects. However the information is really interesting and informative.

A pleasure every episode.   (5/5)

I've listen to this podcast since it first came out. The two host are easy to listen to. They have genuine and respectful enthusiasm for the topics. The back and forth between them really breaks it up and makes listening less monotonous than a single host droning on. Five stars and I hope they have a quality long run.

I love it   (5/5)

I am new to listening to you guys and I listen to these podcasts everyday at work. I love these so much! I like how you guys tell the stories. And I just found out you also do cult podcasts, so I just subscribed :).

Love this podcast!   (5/5)

Great podcast, love the delivery and the hosts are the best! Thx

Love this!!   (5/5)

I love listening to this podcast! It’s such a great show.

Amazing podcast   (5/5)

I am obsessed with this podcast. I listen to it while I’m at work and it passes the time. Keep up the amazing work!!!

The best!   (5/5)

This is my absolute favorite podcast!!! I’ve tried a few but none are as good as this one. I love how Vanessa and Greg tell the stories. No goofing around just great facts!!! So entertaining.

Love It!   (5/5)

I like the research done in this show. There is not a lot of opinion, if any, on the killers, their victims, or why the killers do what they do. This is top-notch stuff and I love it!

You should do Edward Paisnel   (5/5)

I think the story is pretty interesting and I’d love to hear it on the podcast!

I love it, but...   (4/5)

I love this podcast! But why are you recycling content and presenting it as something new? The new episodes that were just released are on Bundy & Holmes - yet these were two of the earliest to premiere when the series was released two years ago. It’s funny that now when I go to the earliest archived, they’re now missing. Please give us actual new content, this is one of my favorite podcasts and this is a bit disappointing.

Facts not accurate   (2/5)

Why no mention of Georgann Hawkins or the other girls that he was killing on a monthly basis? I was a friend of hers and when she disappeared while walking home on a warm June night, this pod cast left her out. Also, Susan Rancort was walking home from a dorm meeting. She was not on her way to a film screening.

Great Podcast on Killers   (4/5)

Enjoy listening to this on my drive home from work, Morbid I know, but it gives my mind something to focus on during the traffic jam home.

Awesome   (5/5)

I love it. I opted to not even watch tv last night and just listened to this. I’m obsessed.

Disappointing   (1/5)

Any podcast on someone as famous as Ted Bundy needs to be 100% correct. They confused the University of Florida with Florida State University and that’s unacceptable - a professional show describing a 40 year old case shouldn’t make such a dumb mistake.

Grreat voices and content   (5/5)

Please cover The Blue moon killer Donald Hartung he killed 3 we know of , another even creepier is Kelly Cochran of UP Michigan

Great podcast   (5/5)

If your into serial killers and their backgrounds, this is the right stop! Enjoy!

Serial killers   (5/5)

Ed has always been, I hate to say curiosity to my morbidly curiosity I guess still he got less than he deserved

Part of My Routine   (5/5)

I love that we get 2 episodes a week now! The classic documentary like commentary, but not dull, soothing almost.

My only complaint   (5/5)

Is that they don’t upload more!!! Lol. Though adding Thursday’s has really made my week better. They go more in depth on killers past and potential motivations than most documentaries I’ve watched on the same killers. Wish I could give it 10 stars.

One of the Best   (5/5)

The thing I love most about this podcast is that they stick to the stories and tell them so good! They don’t deviate from the topic and don’t give unnecessary personal interjections. Straight to the point and they have great voices lol

Addicted   (5/5)

I have a long commute to and from work. I love ID TV and A&E so when I came across this podcast after being stuck in traffic I thought it might be interesting. Glad I did. This has helped my long drive fly by. I’m hooked! Thank you.

so good   (5/5)

i love this podcast!! it’s really interesting to listen to

Pretty Good   (4/5)

Dry but informative

Awesome   (5/5)

Just finished my first episode. Can’t wait for more. Keep up the good work.

Love it   (5/5)

Can’t stop listening

I love this podcast!!!!   (5/5)

As a commuter I spend a lot of time in my vehicle. I’m grateful to have found this duo. The material is fascinating & these two professionals, work well together. Now they’re on Mondays & Thursdays!! Fabulous!

Best podcasters and best info   (5/5)

Not only is the podcasters voice nice to listen to but the information they give is beyond amazing. Its some of the only few podcasts i can listen to withiut getting bored. Voice 10/10 info 10/10

So excited!   (5/5)

I absolutely love this podcast! I always look forward to it every week. Now I am so excited for it to start coming out twice a week. Keep up the great work

Serial killers is good   (5/5)

Alm your favorite killers. An inside look at their lives. I’ve really enjoyed this, it’s well done. The stories are good. Listen to you fav serial killer story-you will like it.

All I’m Looking For   (5/5)

I’ve caught up with all of my other favorite true crime podcasts, so I was very thankful to have found this hidden gem. This show is everything I could ask for: top-notch production, careful and thorough research, as well as clear and straight-to-the-point delivery. This show is already gripping, but I think the dramatizations add even more depth and context. I’ve never felt the need to skip through ads or unnecessary commentary. Greg and Vanessa’s voices are both sexy as hell, too, so that’s just the cherry on top. 😅 A++

The best   (5/5)

I absolutely love this podcast. I have now listened to every episode, which makes me sad, BUT they just came out and said they are moving to two a week! This is huge! The dynamic between the two is great and they put in a lot of hard work and research to deliver an easy to follow timeline. I love this podcast and I need more!

Biweekly podcast to maybe a once a month podcast   (1/5)

Their episodes are pretty short so there isn’t really a need for them to put them in two different episodes. I also think that they don’t dive deep enough with the killers. For example the last podcast on the left when they cover serial killers have like 3 episodes that are each like an hour and a half to two hours on the killer going in-depth about their child hood and then going in depth with the killings and then how they got caught to even the trial sometimes. I just think they could dive deeper and could just maybe put the episodes together instead of making you wait a week. So to me it s a bi weekly podcast if that. Also they have been letting out older episodes and then counting them as the new ones for Monday. That’s just being lazy. The amount of effort they put into research is the same amount of effort a high schooler puts into a project the night before its due.

Straight to the point, educational, no bull****   (5/5)

Serial Killers has been very educational and straight to the point. I had to stop listening to MFM due to the fact that they spend a majority of the episode talking about things unrealted to the subject which I find extremely annoying. So, least to say, I was very pleased when I found Serial Killers!! Thanks for hitting me with cold hard facts and doing so much research, the podcast reflects how much in-depth research the writers have done in which I appauld. Thanks for doing all the heavy reading so we don't have to!

Parcast   (5/5)

I love murder and disturbing stories I’m young and in elementary

Idk how to feel   (3/5)

I like the girls, their voice, the topics, the volcab lesson, the drink part is cute I don’t mind the music, I don’t mind being lively or a joke here and there, the only thing I don’t like that makes me feel sum type of way is them consistently laughing at stuff that’s not funny! I mean have sum respect ladies your laughing at people who’ve died painful deaths show sum respect! It always makes me mad, and if it wasn’t for that I would give them 5 star's

Amazing podcast   (5/5)

I absolutely love that podcast! I’m a high school student interested in working for the BAU as a profiler so listening to things like this help me learn more about serial killers. Thank you for doing this podcast and keep up the good work!!

Thanks for being supportive of the LGBT community!   (5/5)

‪In the Podcast “The Doodler” when hosts Greg Paulson and Vanessa Richardson describe one of The Doodler’s victims, Jay Stevens, a drag queen, they admit that it was unknown if Jay was simply a drag queen or if they identified as female. They explain that for this reason for the entirety of the episode they will use they/them pronouns for Jay. Then throughout the episode they discuss the concepts of internalized homophobia and the fallacy of the “gay panic” defense. WE STAN PODCAST HOSTS WITH COMPASSIONATE AWARENESS. ‬

Great podcast   (5/5)

Thanks for the interesting and well researched stories Keep up the good work!

Really good!!   (5/5)

This is so fun and cool to listen too. Keep up the good work😁😁

AMAZING!   (5/5)

You guys are amazing! I couldn't believe how good you guys are and when I stumbled opon you guys I never looked back. Please don't ever stop!

Intriguing stories & Thanks for no Ads!!!   (5/5)

Thanks Greg & Vanessa! Your narratives are articulate & (oddly) soothing, considering the subject matter. 😳🤷🏻‍♀️👏👏👏👏👏

Absolutely In Love!!   (5/5)

I love how obsessed I am with this podcast! I listen to it everyday and every night whether I’m cleaning my house, driving to or from work, running errands, etc. Keep up the good work!!!!

Serial killers   (5/5)

You guys are killing it with a great podcast like this! It goes in depth to a lot of the cases and you guys hit the nail on the spot good job on informing us the people and keeping entertained with your shows par cast! Thank you for giving me something to listen at work!

I WANT to like this...   (2/5)

I really want to like this podcast, but the sound effects of chewing and cracking bones etc. make it unbearable.

Great listen   (5/5)

I am fascinated by the human psyche and why drives people to kill in mass quantities. This podcast does a phenomenal job of concisely delivering the information that is relevant, not too much or too little.

Parcast Wins!   (5/5)

Informative. Well researched. The hosts have a nice voice, there’s absolutely no side talk. Every podcast that Parcasts produces is a win!

Can’t stop listening!   (5/5)

Seriously this podcast is amazing!!

Surprisingly Captivating   (5/5)

I don’t normally listen or watch things about serial killers, but I was listening to the Dahmer series and just kept listening. The narrators have great radio voices and the guy sounds a bit like Ryan Reynolds to me. Give it a try!

The ONLY serial killer podcast I listen to   (5/5)

I’m a masters level Forensic psychologist...... this podcast is accurate, detailed and so well presented. Great job .... im working on a serial killer tv show for Cineflix.... I’m hosting.... your research is extraordinary, Bravo.

Enough PC   (1/5)

Stop with the liberal PC narrative, it’s all getting too be a bit much.

Great podcast!   (5/5)

Definitely the podcast that got me in to podcasts! Voices are so soothing.

Very informative podcast   (5/5)

The narrators have great voices that make for very easy listening as well as impressive research and fun little tif bits you can creep your friends out with

Good podcast   (3/5)

I went back a few weeks ago and started from the beginning. Shows are interesting. The disclaimers, review requests, and merch announcements are a bit redundant though. Lastly I’ve had problems getting episodes to play correctly. They played fine until I got to about August 2019. If you binge though, I do recommend if crime interests you.

Excellent   (5/5)

Meticulously researched and highly informative!! What a wonderful pair!

This is the best!   (5/5)

To be honest I never really thought to give podcasts a chance. I thought that just listening to people talk was word and boring but then my friends talked me into trying this podcast and I’m glad they did! This is the podcast that got me into podcasts. I’ve listened to every episode and refused to listen to any other podcasts until I finished every episode of this one.

Very well done   (5/5)

I’m hooked! Vanessa and Greg both have the perfect voices for this show...I listen to them daily to catch up...very enlightening! Thank you

Silly PC Sentiment Mitigates Facts   (3/5)

Want to like it because of production value and content. But hosts’ random psychology is distracting, particularly when it’s stuff like “ED upsets men.” Also, falls in the prevalent PC trip - some “-ism” behind every crime. Dahmer episode was terrible - host claims Dahmer released because victim was Asian then quoted stats on African American incarnation to justify. More facts, less propaganda.

Serial Killers   (4/5)

Very informative and repeatative! “Vanessa is not a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist but she has done a lot of research for this show’

Well done   (5/5)

Well put together and nicely researched.

Awful - PC and SJW trash   (1/5)

I tried listening to the first episode of the show about Jeffrey Dahmer and had to turn it off. These bubbleheads blame Dahmer’s murders on “racism”, “homophobia,” etc. Really, talk about pushing a political agenda in a crime show. This is just trash. I’m sure Dahmer wasn’t considering social issues while he was killing and eating his victims. Dahmer was a homocidal, cannibal killer. Don’t blame his behavior on society. Good lord, it’s just awful that people are rating this almost 5 stars.

Serial Killers   (5/5)

Very informative and entertaining podcast.

Serial Killers - excellent   (5/5)

The psychology presented in these disturbing stories is interesting and informative. The crimes are horrifying. The moderators are excellent!

Perfection   (5/5)

I first downloaded the episodes to listen to on flights. Now I listen to them whenever I can :) thanks guys

Serial killers   (5/5)

Great podcast for the perfect spooky scary night

Great   (5/5)

I listen while at work. Most episodes keep my attention while fighting the urge to fall asleep at my desk, haha.

5 STARS   (5/5)

Always entertaining and thrilling !

Dark desserts   (5/5)

It’s a polished deep dive show on the psychology of murderous minds. If you’re into these characters, it’s a great study into the backgrounds of serial killers.

Great   (5/5)

Very informative and keeps you listening !

My daily Binge!   (5/5)

When the kids take a nap, mom opens the app! I’ve been binging Serial Killers during nap time for a month and I couldn’t be happier.

Me   (5/5)

This love shower

Good info   (3/5)

This podcast has a lot of information and not a lot of extra chatter. I just wish they would stop the bad sound effects and fake laughing.

Good. But constantly asked for 5 stars   (3/5)

This is a solid 4 star podcast, but I took away one star because it annoys me how they ask for a 5 star review on EVERY episode.

My newest binge!   (5/5)

I’ve been listening everyday for a week now...almost throughout my entire 8hr work shift!

Love this   (5/5)

Absolutely love this podcast! So interesting and keeps me wanting to hear more!! Well done team!

Pretty good podcast   (5/5)

I like it. Very engrossing tales without distracting sound effects.

Better than crime junkies   (5/5)

They always get straight to the point and do an amazing job with their research ! Wish they could upload more often 😭

The best   (5/5)

You guys make a great team! Love this podcast!

GC, IN   (5/5)

Another excellent program! Continue the good work!

Best podcast EVER   (5/5)

Just the best podcast ever!! Love Parcast! I am catching ip on every one of the podcasts. Especially love Vanessa and Greg. Great job!

Stops playing   (1/5)

I’ve yet to listen to an entire episode without it stopping. I enjoy the content...I think but who knows??? I don’t enjoy babysitting the episode to figure where it stopped. I don’t have this problem with other podcasts.

Love the style   (5/5)

Your voices make me feel calm. You tell a good story. Production is A++++ I like how you start off with early life and coming of age and get to some of the psychological points, to try to make sense of motives,etc... Very consistently good. One of my favorite bed time podcasts.’

Less authentic than others   (2/5)

I have enjoyed some of these episodes, but these are newscasters, not researchers—they’re really paid actors who didn’t pursue the story themselves, and the overly dramatic delivery is kind of weak. I prefer Last Podcast, Criminal, and Amy Favorite Murder because they are less corporate.

Perfect blend of psychology and crime   (5/5)

One of the best crime podcasts out there. Both are professional and respectful.

One of the greatest podcasts!   (5/5)

Hello! To be honest, I was never really into podcasts. When a friend recommended this podcast to me, knowing that I was always interested in shows such as ‘dateline’, I thought I would give it a try. And I’m so glad I did! The hosts are fantastic story-tellers. Each episode is so well written; and, the facts are very accurate. All-in-all, I’m a fan and will continue listening to the show! P.S.:Great job, guys! Thank you very much for doing such a wonderful job! P.P.S: I will leave a separate review for ‘Sports Criminals’, but it is another show I love and would highly recommend! :)

A little repetitive, but good   (5/5)

My only complaint: it seems that almost every episode is about “one of the most prolific serial killers.” I’m wondering how many serial killers they have on their list and how they define the word ‘prolific.’ Other than that, I enjoy it.

KILLER SHOW 👌🏻   (5/5)

BINGED “serial killers” & LOVE IT🤩!!!! Only thing I wish, is that theyd include more real audio uploads of the people that were involved in the storie(s); ie the detectives or news excerpts or the survivors or friends/ family; or they themselves.... other than that, the show is Killer 👌🏻

Interesting Listen   (5/5)

Definitely worth a listen

Best. Podcast. Ever.   (5/5)

I have always been fascinated by serial killers and slightly obsessed. I absolutely love listening to these. I love that they go through the background of the serial killers, through their psychology, and their crimes. It’s fascinating, well written, and absolutely captivating. I tell everyone I know about it! Cannot recommend enough!

Great podcast   (5/5)

This podcast is just what I been looking for I love it very entertaining

I love it   (5/5)

Idk why there are so few 5 star reviews. It’s my second favorite podcasts. BUT I do agree that in the early episodes, they weren’t so monotone & a lot more personable.

Toooo scripted!   (3/5)

While I LOVE the stories and the extensive research, it is so scripted and contrived it becomes annoying. Also the sound effects and voice actors are WHOLLY unnecessary!

Thanks Greg.   (5/5)

And thanks Vanessa, keep the research up!

I look forward to Monday’s now!!   (5/5)

Amazing!   (5/5)

I am very picky when it comes to podcast and this one I love so much I usually hear it on my way to work or when I go back home. Honest I hear it when ever I can! I love the information they give and how they break down every thing and now they have a podcast called dog tales I am also hearing that one.

Thanks Greg   (5/5)

Thanks Greg

Great show   (5/5)

Always interesting

Love it   (5/5)

I usually listen to podcasts to help me sleep, this one is monotone enough to relax me but also interesting enough to keep my mind from drifting! Have listened to every episode and will keep replaying them!

This show is KILLER!   (5/5)

I love the show! It’s intriguing, in-depth and thoughtful. Digestible and different than many shows that try to take a psychological approach to serial murderers.

“Adamant” “Prolific”   (5/5)

It’s a good show. Monotonous, yes, but good. You learn a lot about serial killers. You’ll also notice how many times they use the same adjectives over and over. Enjoy!

Content is good, but the voices are terrible   (2/5)

I love the content, but like all parcast podcasts I’ve listened to, the hosts sound so so so fake. I don’t want to listen to some overly perfect NPR scripted podcast, I want to hear real conversation and voices. Their voices make me sadder than the subject matter, and everything sounds disingenuous. Also, you guys are usually pretty PC, but you sounded super condescending when you said “prostitutes or ‘sex workers’ as they preferred to be called’.” Usually your tone is fairly monotone, but you could hear the judgment there. Not cool.

Love this, it helps me sleep!   (5/5)

These podcasts are well made and have a soothing way of telling the story, I always fall asleep shortly after and have to finish the next day. Keep them coming!

4 Stars   (4/5)

We get it already, Vanessa’s not a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist. Can’t you just write that disclaimer somewhere instead of repeating it every episode? Overall it’s a pretty good show, informative and interesting. I’m glad they don’t have actors doing voices anymore or the weird staged conversations between hosts like in earlier episodes. I like the straightforward presentation they have now.

Read Way Too Formally, Old, So Monotone   (1/5)

This was read so formally, dramatic and like reporters from the 90’s. No conversational tone etc, especially the woman, my goodness so formal. She drives me crazy she’s so monotone. I consistently zone out because of their tones. OLD school style that is no longer competitive with the engaging media available now. I literally felt like Siri or my maps was reciting this as if a computer was reciting its THAT flat. Wow.

Informative...   (5/5)

Very interesting podcast. Even learned of more serial killers I was unaware of.

Give Vanessa a break, man!   (3/5)

My girlfriend listens to this podcast (and a couple of others from your network) nightly to fall asleep... murder makes her tired I guess. It seems like you both put tonnnns of effort into your shows and are doing a good job in general. However, if I have to hear Greg say “Vanessa is not a licensed psychologist” blahblahblah one more time, I am going to pull my hair out!!! It is obvious that neither of you are licensed anythings, just researchers and podcasters! You’re not giving medical advice, so a disclaimer is not necessary! Also, it seems to only matter what Vanessa’s credentials are... who the f**ck are you, Greg? What makes you qualified to say things on a podcast? Either put a disclaimer for him or drop it. It is ridiculous and patronizing. Thank you.

Stop spamming the feed.   (1/5)

The podcasts from this network are fine, but the spam of having other unrelated podcast downloaded without permission caused me to unsubscribe from everything on this network. I subscribed to a podcast about serial killers, not some random podcast about dogs.

Stop forcing new podcasts into my FEED!   (1/5)

Sick of having “new” podcast forced into my feed.

Serial Listener   (5/5)

Too good.

Love this   (5/5)

I truly appreciate the lack of opinion and biased interpretation to such horrible acts. These to just tell the story and really allow your own mind to wander and judge for itself. Thank you you two!

Love it   (5/5)

I love Vanessa Richardson! I just love her voice and I think I listen to all of her podcasts. This one doesn’t disappoint and I’m super picky about my true crime podcasts!

Enjoyable   (5/5)

Love listening at work

Monotone, dull   (1/5)

Please put even an ounce of personality into your shows. I was so excited to learn about parcast but every show is exactly the same.

SLB   (4/5)

The same commercials are very annoying, otherwise it’s a very interesting show.

Bunk   (1/5)

Alternating Narration sounds really bad bland and robotic

My first review for my favorite podcast   (5/5)

I know people think it’s too scripted and monotonous, but I like the even tone throughout the podcast. There are no raising voices, odd laughter, “umm’s”, or fumbling around. It makes it easy to focus on the story they are telling. There is no getting sidetracked and because of that, I can tolerate the infrequent commercials. Only suggestion I could make is for Vanessa to add her “Not a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist...” for the end. Maybe as part of the end credits? Honestly, I love this podcast. Vanessa is great. She has a great voice for reading any script. Anyway, here’s my first review. Best podcast I’ve heard.

Got to stop looking into the abyss   (5/5)

This podcast cracks me up with its tosses to ads, but they are talking about truly horrible things so I understand the attempts at levity.

Great Podcast   (5/5)

Very informative! Speakers keep me engaged and wanting more. Keep up the Great Work!!!

Robot News   (1/5)

This is how I assume a computer would tell me things. I almost said “Hey Siri” during all of it

all shock value no sincerity or quality   (1/5)

I don’t understand how they have so many details when it comes to certain moments between people in these crimes.. super scripted, and they speak with a lot of authority without any credentials.. interesting content but the delivery is severely lacking, don’t waste your time.

Vanessa the Authority   (3/5)

I’m Vanessa. I’m not a licensed psychologist, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn 🏨 Express last night bahaha 😝

Same Insufferable Hosts   (1/5)

These two (Greg & Vanessa) are so fakey fake it’s hard to listen to. Why can’t they just have a conversation about the subject matter without being in local-news-caster-fakedy-fake mode? Then you add in the horrendous voice acting and I’m out. Too bad because the subject matter is intriguing.

Your stories keep me going!   (5/5)

Thanks for all of the content! I’m constantly listening to true crime and your stories keep me productive throughout the day. Thanks!

Every Episode So Far!!!   (5/5)

Thank you so much for everything that you’ve done for your podcast audience. This, and female criminals are my two favorite podcasts. Keep up the good work! Your friend in crime, Julie.

Ok   (2/5)

Stories are interesting. The female is annoying due to her inability to read with emphasis on the right areas. I wonder if there are commas in her draft.

The lisp is distracting   (1/5)

The female has a great voice but he is annoying.

Great   (5/5)

Very informative

Highly recommend   (5/5)

The details In this case are unbelievable and scary. Great job in keeping me interested and on edge.

Lots of pseudo-psychological guesswork packaged up to sound authoritative.   (2/5)

Lots of pseudo-psychological profiling by someone who openly admits they aren’t a psychologist/profiler but “they research a lot”. They get a lot of things wrong. They approach the context like they are authorities, which they aren’t.

👍🏽❤️   (5/5)

These two are amazing. I love the narration, the presentation and the detail. I’m a true fan now.

Not all episodes   (3/5)

I remember hearing more episodes of then the list they provide they did tool box killers and yet when I try to find it I can’t find it anywhere

Omg so good   (5/5)

I have a some what obsession with serial killers and what goes through their brains. This podcast is so good and it really dives into psychology of serial killers. I listen to this so much and it is really interesting. The hosts and voice actors all really good and add so much to the podcast.

Love listening   (5/5)

I love listening to Greg and Vanessa! They are my favorite podcast readers and Parcast shows are always well written!

❤️👌   (5/5)

I just recently got into this podcast and let me tell you 8 hours of my day while I’m working I’m hearing this podcast and I’m Obsessed. I like to think and study the killer myself. I’m still in the 2017 episodes.

i’m obsessed   (5/5)

i actually listen to these podcast everyday in the car. this is by far my favorite podcast about murders 🤩 5 stars is an understatement!!!

Mr b   (5/5)

Love listening to them it’s well written well produced and informative.

Great voice!   (5/5)

I really like the way Vanessa and Paul unfold the story in every episode! So interesting and creepy at the same time. Paul’s voice is so soothing!

❤️   (5/5)

THANK YOU‼️YOU TWO HAVE A WONDERFUL WAY OF TELLING TERRIBLE TALES‼️ I can’t think of a better way to while away time, riding my bike, sorting mail, looking through catalogs, doing the dishes and any mindless stuff I like doing‼️❤️Thank yo and keep up your GREAT WORK‼️❤️

Mindnumbing   (2/5)

I generally avoid giving bad reviews because I hate to interfere with anyone trying to make a living. This show is one of the few execeptions. If they would merely touch on the facts of the case it would be bearable. However the host of this cast seem to feel it essential to propagandize modern political correctness rather than explore the cases. If a killer belongs to an ethnic minority , the crime is due to racissm. If the killer is a homoxexual, its due to homophobia and Christianity, ad nauseum. Show is completely dominated by Pop-psychology drivel.

Good creepy listening   (5/5)

I love listening to this while I fold laundry. Also while I’m organizing closets. Is it weird that they’re delivery is soothing to me ...

Would have given 5 but...   (4/5)

It’s annoying that Vanessa acts like an “expert.” I know all the same things she talks about but would never present myself as an expert like she does. Like when she says that animal killings are at the top of “her list” for indication of a serial killer. Her list? Really. The performative nature of her role is super annoying. Not to say I don’t like or value her part of the show, it’s just very elitist sounding and is the only turn off of this podcast. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. The storytelling is super engaging & gives me the creeps!!

Too many adverts   (1/5)

One downside of subscribing to multiple par cast podcasts is when the all send you promos at the same time. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Very distasteful.

Very entertaining and informative   (5/5)

Love the podcast!!! I am interested in criminal psychology and you guys are amazing at the verbiage and variety you have in your podcast thanks love them all

Painfully Bad Narration   (1/5)

After trying to listen to several different shows from the Parcast network, I’ve found that, no matter the subject, the podcasts are incredibly boring because all of the narrators are so terrible. If you like radios shows from about 1934 then maybe the delivery of these stories will interest you, but for the most part it’s fairly cringeworthy and just plain awkward to listen them try to speak like they’re 🤖 totally 🤖 natural 🤖

Great   (5/5)

Awesome podcast

Awesome   (5/5)

Have been listening to this podcast for the last few months and have throughly enjoyed every episode. Vanessa and Greg do an excellent job telling the crimes of the serial killer and give real insight as to why the killer was the way they were.
