Speaking of Stories

In Speaking of Stories two writers meet to talk about not only their writing, but even more so about current events, society and culture. Starting from one thing they have in common, the discussion evolves to speaking about a whole bunch of stories. Each episode will feature two writers, one from Sweden, the other one just passing by Sweden, but leaving the podcast behind. For news and updates, follow us on Instagram: @Speaking_of_stories

Speaking of Stories

Édouard Louis was born in 1992 and is already one of the stars amongst French writers. Here he shares his experiences, from debuting at a young age with the autobiographical “Finishing off Eddy Belleguelle”, marking an end to a suffering created by growing up gay in a small industrial town in the north of France. He also speaks openheartedly about his latest book “History of Violence” and why it was impossible to write a book about love after being assaulted and raped.
