Our series, Assassins Incorporated: The Kremlin's Secret Squad of Killers, featured four episodes about people who were murdered, were victims of attempted murders or were the family members of those targeted -- all incidents that were allegedly connected to the Kremlin. The objective was to take a closer look at what appeared to be network of people and organizations that were active in locations from central Asia to Washington and many major cities in between and beyond. In this final segment of the series, we discuss the burning question -- would the Kremlin order the killing of Americans in the U.S.?

They are incidents that deserve a closer look. The story of Paul Joyal, who was shot in his driveway in Adel...

In March 2016, Target USA began investigating the suspicious deaths of Russian diplomats and others around the world linked, in some way, to the Kremlin. Some of them died in the U.S. — in New York and D.C. The deaths of some were deemed “natural.” Others were obviously murdered. The investigation, which also examined failed assassination attempts, revealed a persistent pattern and a recurrent scheme involving money, power and revenge.
