It lit I’m just sitting here and enjoying everything I’m hearing it’s very interesting
This is the only podcast I’ve managed to go through the entire back log of episodes. By far my favorite podcast, all the members are entertaining and the guests are always fun!!! The conversations are surprisingly in-depth and super deep. Did I mention their back log? It’s amazing and worth the few years I spent listening to this podcast to catch up.
The personalities between Genna, Jesse, and Dodger really make this an informative, funny and entertaining podcast
Entertaining. Good guests, cool talk about games, chill podcast overall.
Consistently great production and top shelf discussions and goofs. Though I don’t always agree, I always look forward to new shows. Great information
This was the first podcast I ever got into. The chemistry between the three main hosts is incredible and they each have their own great personalities. This is the definitive gaming podcast and it transcends that genre and is simply an entertaining podcast in general.
Comprehensive gaming podcast that also manages to be hilarious
Just kinda prefer the incredibly unorganized non content of Cox n Crendor slightly more
I love TB. I love his friends and co-workers. This man may seem abrasive at first but he tells the truth that so many people need to hear. TB lays it out on the table and you take it how you take it. Love the conversations that are not only gaming related but are wrestling, tv show, and all-around life related. Love you TB!
It never fails to deliver, well Jesse does sometimes but that's a non-issue.
Nothing will calm me down after a busy day better than these guys.
I really use to like the show but I feel like something changed. It's less entertaining for me to listen to and more of a chore. When there's weeks that Jesse isn't on I tune out all together and that's not mentioning his rants. I fully support anyone's decisions to listen to the podcast but it's just not for me.
This podcast is one of my favorite examples in a podcast of proving that quality can come with quantity, I can say after listening to every cooptional podcast to date that I have loved nearly every minute of each 3 hour podcast. For sure my favorite gaming podcast easily.
Funny and informative Totalbiscuit and the rest of the co-optional crew deliver one of the most entertaining and informative gaming podcasts available.
Was a good podcast unfortunately they can't stay away from politics. If you want a podcast just about games and not a leftist agenda try giantbomb
I used to respect Totalbiscuit, and how he called out the media for unethical practices. One of his complaints was them shoehorning in their political views into gaming media. But now he is doing the same thing. With a long, planned rant during his gaming podcast. I will not be listening to it anymore. This was where I came to avoid that stuff.
They have to talk about video games first.
I've been a fan of TB and this podcast for years now. The opinions on the various new games are interesting, but most of all everyone is hilarious. Very entertaining
I wrote an review but Apple decided to not post it for some reason. Anyways, 3 contradicting and yet similar personalities collide to provide easy going and insightful conversation and I enjoy.
Every time I listen to this podcast I cry tears of joy. Jk but this is an amazing podcast about games and actually has personality. The three main hosts (Totalbiscuit,Jesse Cox, and Dodger) are always hilarious and are very good at picking interesting guests. 10000/10000-IGN
TB, Dodger, and Jesse have been some of my favorite You Tube personalities for a long time. I think what makes this podcast so enjoyable to listen to is their distinct personalities and their different out look on video games. Dodger loves visual novels and anime, Jesse knows how to loot and go for the story, and TB is very consumer focused. Defiantly a must to have on your podcast list.
If this was a business and finance podcast this review would be a 5 star, but it isn't. I can here not knowing anything about a video game and wanting to learn more. While the initial title of the episode and even the introduction seemed to give me what I want, the body of it from start to Ed was nothing more than the host talking business and complaining about what people would think if he said anything about the game. Absolutely terrible.
I don't like some of the guests but that's ok.
Last week, last week, last week I decided this podcast wasn't for me. The inconsistent volume and audio quality plus the annoying banter convinced me this isn't what I want from a podcast
Tb's pompous attitude and support for known misogynistic offenders is terrible. Guest are great though.
Still one of my favorite podcast especially, because it is long form podcast great for commuting. I promise you will love it as long as you can handle the Liberalism, mocking and jabs at Christianity, which all offend me. They like to walk the line, so just be warned.
Honest feelings with familiar voices and a fun atmosphere
The whole cast is awesome.
Following TB for a while, I liked his videos, but after finding out he did a weekly podcast, it immidiately became a staple to listen to at work. You get about 3 hours of gaming insight, goofs, shenanigans, as well as gaming news and releases. Great guests appear nearly every epidsode, ranging from Youtubers to Game devs to offer their own addition to the show. It is a mostly PC-biased show, but I don't think you need to have to align with any gaming platform to enjoy it.
It's just a great podcast. If you're at all interested in video games, give Co-optional a try. You won't be dissapointed. Only problem is that there are occasional breaks in dialogue, but even then it's nothing too bad. Just keep on making great content guys!
Dodger, TB and Jesse have terrific chemistry, and are very funny and enjoyable to listen to. With new guests every week, you won't ever get tired of it. It's great seeing members of the community get together and just talk games and other random crap. Definitely worth tuning in every week
Its weekly gaming news but fun and TB is actually cute guy
I'm a big fan of the podcast but now that it's moved locations the first impression is that it looks pretty good and nothing is really changed Moving on from the default thing, I really do love the podcast and evan the commercials are funny so check it out.
Always entertaining and fun to listen to too.
I love this podcast! The main hosts are hilarious, the guests are just as funny, and they occasionally talk about video games. What more could need?
The perfect mix of serious and topical information from TB along with Jesse rants and Dodger butt-touching games makes this the gold standard for gaming podcasts.
A very entertaining podcast perfect for listening to at work.
I r8 8/8 the dankest podcast around.
This is a great place to get gaming news, find out about new games to play, and get a little entertainment too. P.s. Just make Crendor a permanent 4th host. I believe you can make the overlay work!
The Cooptional podcast is just so funny. It makes my laugh and it is great. Keep up the great work TB!
This podcast usually sports an interesting lineup of guests from various backgrounds in the industry. The core members always express their opinions on games in a fair and descriptive way. Even if you may disagree with their points on a subject, they give enough background about their personal preferences so the listener is always aware of biases.
A boring and uninteresting podcast
Its great , can't drive to work without listening to it 9.7/10 .
Just a really good gaming podcast, no bull. why are you still reading this? Go listen!
Great group of three varied video game and geeky people with a weekly guest. They talk about current video games, news, and frequently go off on amusing tangents.
The Co optional podcast is by far my favorite podcast to listen to while driving to work and back. However, Polaris never updated them on time. It would take them weeks to upload a "new" one so I would have to listen to it on Mobil YouTube . Even than, I couldn't listen to it very we'll cause it constantly buffered. Very frustrating, but I know TB will update them much faster, because that's just how he is. He really understands the frustration caused by any form of corporation or studio. That's one of the reasons why I love the guy so much. Thank you very much for the free entertainment.
I was asked nicely to leave 5 star review, and it is deserving of this.
This is a audio port of the amazing video game podcast. featuring the greatest internet celebrities (Total Biscuit,Jesse Cox and that one who eats....) as they ramble about video games and sometimes Anime( mostly Anime BS to be honest). Its a wonderful podcast but this so called "port" is lacking. Its main problem is its lack of options. It's major problem is it has no FOV slider which makes me become very nauseous.30 FPS,no FOV,big gun models 1/10 would not recommend
I usually watch the Co-optional podcast, but regardless of format I find it to be both informative and amusing. Having watched the personalities involved for several years, I find their brand of humor jivves with my own, as well as TotalBiscuit having the most interesting coverage of gaming materials and unique view points on games media that would otherwise go unnotice or undisclosed. For this service to the consumer alone, I applaud and thank him heartily, having been spared having to spend money on something that is broken or otherwise not worth my time. So, thank you co-optional podcast folks!
This is one of the best gaming podcasts out there. The three main hosts are hilarious and their guests are interesting.
One of my favorite podcasts. Really enjoyable standard cast, and good guests!
I have been listening To TB and Co since Blue Please if anyone remembers that and it currently one of the top people I check for opinions on video games. I have found lots of new interesting people by listening to this on YouTube some of which I have followed.
5 / 5
I first heard Totalbiscuit on WoW radio a no defunct podcasting site. He has always been what some might call harsh and even mean. Though by years of listening and watching you find those actions come from not hate but passion. There is no better place to not only be informed but gain a personal side to aspects of gaming. One thing you have to know, he is telling you what he feels... Not how you should feel. If you take that in mind even if you disagree, it is an opportunity to see the other side and hopefully understand if not agree.
TB told me to review his podcast so here it is. I've been listening to the Co-Optional Podcast for ages, even back when it was with TGS. It's funny and informative. Guests are always fantastic. I've discovered a lot of personalities through the show and I now have a YouTube account dedicated to watching people I've subbed to through the podcast. If you've never heard of the Co-Optional podcast, first of all where have you been? Second, just subscribe. Do it.
