If you need to be sponsored by multiple companies, make the ads shorter. No one wants to start to a podcast listening to 2 mins of ads.
Like watching a little sister who hasn’t quite found herself but has followed everyone else to help define her, this is a sad show to follow. After years of leaning on her husband’s support (financially and emotionally) she’s now ready to spread her wings...and shame anyone who holds her accountable. Is it a coincidence that she has since shifted almost all of her communications to a one-way format? Podcast, email...all things that she can talk at you (or in the case of her poor guests....over you), all while monetizing from the number of “subscribers” she has. Meanwhile, Dave shares his feelings and journey openly showcasing his true depth of character to his FRIENDS (followers), not STRANGERS...on the internet. This used to be a motivational podcast, not it’s simply the Rachel show....where what she says, thinks, and monetizes is the only thing that matters. Do yourself a favor and do not even waste your time. Let the little sis grow up and find herself first.
Listen with discernment. Sadly she doesn’t stand for what I thought she did. Please please listen with discernment and be careful about who speaks into your life.
wow! everything about this woman is smoke and mirrors, it has been proven many times over that she plagiarizes material for her books and speaking engagements. Everything about her is fake including her marriage, she’ll make a buck out of anything and make herself the victim, please stop making this woman rich. Despicable.
I used to love this podcast and the rose together podcast. I’d listen to Rachel and Dave laugh and joke with each other and talk about how much they “make out” and jump each other’s bones any chance they get and I would listen and say to myself wow is something wrong with my marriage? I wish we were more like them. Only to be totally blindsided by the news of their divorce. They sat there and raved about each other and talked about transparency but they were never honest with us. It really seems like a big sham. And then Rachel is on here releasing a book to capitalize off of it and talking bad about her confused fans. Telling us to subscribe to her email newsletter for updates on her divorce. Like what?! We are all just blindsided and confused and instead of being upfront and honest it all seems super fake
There are ads every other minute in this short podcast. Even skipping through them, i end up taking a short podcast down to just a few minutes. Rachel also spends a lot of time forcing herself on her guests, talking more than she listens, insistent on making sure she is validated.
“I’m a liberal! I love everybody! Everybody should be accepted!” That’s not what being liberal means. I’m not liberal and I believe these things but since I’m conservative, I’m apparently not welcome on your channel. You think your entire following is liberal? How foolish. Also, stop talking about BLM now that you’ve been negatively affected. You didn’t speak once until your community called you out.
Everything Mrs Hollis does is to make a buck. Whether it’s plagiarism or pretending to have the perfect marriage or being a fitness instructor. It’s all a sham. Her podcast is a non stop ad to take advantage of others.
Used to be good, now talks over guests, rants, sounds fake, no longer relatable. Much better content out there, keep moving
I tried to continue listening even after the whole thousand dollars tickets for marriage conferences while she was discussing divorce thing.. Never left a bad review in a podcast before but .. girl WHAT? There was some bashing the Church and Christians and then the ranting with Trent Shelton about what a victim she is because people called her out for her manipulation. Give me a break. No one is disappointed that you’re getting divorced - it’s the fraud part that upset “the community”. So full of crap. And you didn’t “build an empire alone”, you had a husband who made good money, stop pretending to be self made. It’s all so narcissistic and gross. I couldn’t even listen to the whole thing, it’s truly insufferable to listen to anymore. Yall.. please please stop investing money in this toxicity. It’s so fake and victimy. And the audacity to try to sell a book about rebuilding her life? Seriously? Anyone with integrity would’ve refunded the marriage conference tickets or never had it. Not Rachel! She writes a book to profit more off of the lie. Ewe. No.
It’s the toxic positivity for me. It’s the plagiarism for me. It’s the capitalizing on a marriage that was falling apart behind closed doors for me. There was way better ways to get your inspiration than a podcast like this. One that left me feeling inadequate for so long because I wasn’t doing all the things. You can be successful without the Rise podcast and without the plagiarized Rachel Hollis quotes. ✌🏼
It’s fun to listen to her podcasts
Been listening for years and recently disappointed with the episodes. The Rob Lowe one I couldn’t even listen to all the way through, the arrogance and out of touch of Rob and also Rachel in that interview left me a little embarrassed for them. And then the Trent Shelton podcast was basically the first half Rachel complaining about her kids and distant learning and nothing to do with Trent and his book. Disappointed for sure
Please stop talking and start listening. I felt like Trent should’ve been the one doing most of the talking for this conversation, especially since Rachel is a white woman. I realize this is her podcast. But this episode is about Trent’s book and the conversation went towards white privileged and racism. That’s the moment when Rachel should’ve let Trent speak. It made me feel icky when she kept going on and on while Trent went silent. I had to shut the podcast off with 14 minutes still left because I couldn’t handle it anymore.
I used to love listening to you with my wife. Then we were sad when we found out that you and Dave were getting a divorce. I think you’re incredibly fake. You left your husband because he was “holding” your business back. Sounds like you care more about money than caring about others, your family, and God.
I have truly tried to keep an open mind, but after this most recent podcast with Trent Shelton and her recent Instagram activity I can’t listen to her anymore. She condescendingly calls her fans “strangers on the Internet.” “Strangers” that have supported you and your family for years! We have a right to be upset when you sold us on your perfect life without ever even mentioning your marriage struggles. You whine in this podcast with Trent about how people are upset with you. Are you truly that narcissistic? Then you come out with a book titled “didn’t see that coming” when Dave posted that YOU asked for the divorce. We all saw this new book coming. Anything to make money, I guess. I am so disappointed I ever listened to anything you said. You’ve lost the authenticity we all followed you for.
I LOVE Rachel Hollis and her podcast. She’s been through so much and still rises to the occasion. I’m in awe at how she can stay strong during hard times. Thank you for being vulnerable and being the inspiration we all need! Stay strong girl! We love you❤️❤️
Capitalizing on pain and fear, Rachel Hollis will do whatever it takes to profit from every part of her life. Marriage? Let’s sell that. Getting your life together? Let’s sell that. I’m choosing to divorce my husband? Let’s definitely sell that. Rachel preys upon vulnerable people all for her own financial gain. Why would anyone take this woman’s advice seriously?
Not surprised of them being frauds. The sad part is they duped a lot people and took their money with their lie of a life on social media.
I want to like this podcast. I don’t know much about her brand but it’s hard to listen to the podcast because there are so many ads in the podcast. I can barely get the content or message from the podcast due to the ads non stop throughout. Please change this platform. A lot of podcast have it in the beginning and not constantly through the podcast
Sold her family as a brand, continues to pretend she is a guru...but was charging $1,500+ the past three years for marriage seminars while knowing she wanted a divorce. Very fake and privileged and fat shame-y.
Thank you for creating a podcast that contains real life conversations that help us all in every area of our life and business!!!! Rachel, so blessed to have found you and this awesome podcast!!! ♥️
Builds an entire platform on being ‘real’ when she is anything but. Don’t know how anyone can still support her. Do some research. Her brand is a complete joke.
I finally gave up, you can barely get to the content for all the ads. I’d rather pay for a subscription than to have to constantly fast forward through the 30 ads in a single episode!
Thank you for being fully honest, I don’t understand people who say were duped when you & Dave have always said you don’t have all the answers and have been honest and real about both your struggles, struggles just just like everyone of us. Just like everyone else I struggle on many areas of my life because I’m not perfect, nope imperfect just like the entire world. Bur your books, articles & podcasts have greatly improved my life for the better. Keep going, continue being true, thank you for all you do!
When I first started my journey of going deeper on myself, my life and relationships you were there. You were my guide. You encouraged me and told me that it’s okay to be real, to be honest, to be MYSELF, even if all of it isn’t pretty. So now I want to be here for you. I’m sorry people are writing mean reviews about you. Hurt people hurt people. Life isn’t perfect and pretending it is isn’t healthy. So THANK YOU for you honesty, vulnerability and realness. The world needs more people like you. So THANK YOU for sharing and teaching the masses. The ones ready to listen are so so thankful. Like me. Much love to you and your family.
Followed you guys for years. Bought the books. The merch. The stupid expensive event tickets. The lives, the stories, the podcasts. The LIES. Which is my own fault. All the years that apparently you were discussing divorce according to Dave’s announcement. All the same years that you made millions off telling everyone something totally different. You made a podcast a few weeks before saying how wonderful your marriage was! Making people feel like they could “have what you have”. Yikes. Girl, get a new job.
You DO owe us an explanation! You took our money based on a LIE!! Greedy AF! Your soul is empty.
Thank you for your July 7, 2020 podcast. Thank you for talking about boundaries and thank you for showing me boundaries are necessary and that I don’t have to worry about what other people think about the boundaries I may or may not have. Thank you Rachel.
Giving advice for marriage while having divorce simmering on the burner...I am blown away with all the deceit to make money. So much fraudulent garbage.
Wow! You’ve really lost it.
Continued prayers for you I know you’re far from being upbeat Rachel but I’m just thankful for you ❤️
It seems the shift in guests and topics is reflective of their hearts. How did we get from very inspiring, uplifting, challenging points of view to celebrating leaving your marriage to be with someone else? This is “magic”??? I am sorry to say this content is no longer suited for me. It started off with very similar moral/life views which was relatable and encouraging, that is no longer the reality. I cannot buy the idea that abandoning your covenant aligns with the pursuit of being a better human. Sad to unsubscribe as it feels like losing a friend, but perhaps that is my fault for idolizing and not giving grace to be human. Thanks for all of the encouragement you’ve given over the years. Much love to the real people who are truly hurting and affected deeply by this.
Rachel is a money hungry liar. She doesn’t practice what she preaches but will expect you to. She will do whatever it takes to build her platform and bank account.
Thank you for being real during this time!
Years of preaching an almost perfect life to get divorced. I’m sure it’s hard but when you live your life in public to make money, you can’t say “I Don’t need to unpack it now, boundaries”. Clearly BS. Always been out to make the next dollar and I’m sure she will try to on her divorce.
I was such a fan but now your words seem empty, shallow and opportunistic. You don’t owe us anything.... but at the same time, we have cared about and supported you and now you want boundaries? “I’m still here” doesn’t seem like enough. It is a luxury to not have to work or show up for your life when it gets hard. You also sound sanctimonious about the divorce, oh your kids never saw you fight? We felt the awkwardness and tension on your morning show, so to think your kids didn’t have any awareness makes you holier than thou. The reason you can’t find books that resonate is because people who are best friends, who love each other now more than ever, who are still “making out” all the time don’t get divorced. I think all people need is to understand why you painted one perfect picture that wasn’t reality. What was your motivation if it wasn’t to fool people for the sake of your BRAND?
The amount of people you capitalized on is BS. You made money off of having a healthy marriage—people paid to learn how to be a better partner and you have been in a failed marriage for years. Liar, complete liar.
This is a pr stunt; they are still together. Rachel had to make a move to get out of the plagiarism accusations and they are using this pseudo-divorce to distract everyone. They will “overcome” and be back together by Christmas.
I have prayed for your family since your announcement and waited for your return and you have done it with such grace. Thank you for a great episode and girl you are amazing I have been through a divorce and I got better everyday however there were the real sucky days and real good days it is a process and you keep doing you absolutely unapologetic. Love you girl......
Just listened to your 7-7-20 episode. I needed that perspective today. I’m not going through the same thing as you, but have been dealing with something super hard for the past few months. Your advice on working out right now helped me with the guilt that I’ve been feeling for not pushing myself as hard as I normally do. The comment about not needing to explain to others and being able to deal with things in my own way, it was exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks for still being here and speaking during this season of your life. I appreciated your words so much.
So thankful for Rachel’s authenticity and love for her community! So grateful for her words even when she’s going through her own storm!
I appreciate you opening your heart to the community during this really difficult time in your life. I’ve been going back to your old eps and watching your Quibi show as well. I didn’t realize just how much I enjoyed your work and your words until I wasn’t hearing them daily. I’m glad you’re taking care of yourself and listening to your body. We’ll be here when you’re ready.
Great podcast. I think the podcast is great but I especially LOVED the one with E. G. She is a wise woman with so much experience, eloquence and kindness. Everyone can learn from her. I am inspired.
Such a liar. This podcast is trash and so is this family. Stop listening to these bs influencers.
Been there done that! Anyone who says hateful and ugly things is ugly inside. You needed your break from social but everything will be ok. Keep getting up and moving forward. You both had a great run and you will get through this. Just work hard to be good parents and everything will really be all right. Trust me!
Some of the interviews were very interesting- until all questions centered around Rachel. I have no respect for someone who lies- either you were contemplating this for years OR you didn’t see it coming. Which is it? I think it sad that women follow you- and want to be you. You have a business and are centering the entire business around your emotional needs- must be nice.
Rachel I love how real and honest you are. How you keep showing up and do the work to make yourself and all of us better! You changed my mindset in so many ways and you continue to. Thank you for being you and you are amazing! Thank you!
Thank you for this past podcast. I just started reading and listening to your programs. I love them, and I appreciate all you do. Your journal and planner have been such an awesome addition to my life. Thank you again for all you do and continue to do during this hard time. You are awesome!
Please refund all those who’ve taken your advice and followed it. That’s the least you can do. Girl, start apologizing.
So fake. Dave posted they have “wrestled with their marriage for years” when announcing their divorce last week. They were in no place to be handing out marriage device. They acted like everything was a ok to keep making millions off their phony advice. Upset I ever spent money on either of their books and unsubscribed from Both podcasts.
I would give zero stars if I could
Rachel is the perfect example of wealthy white privilege. She thinks everything can be done by just “washing your face” her messages are filled with a toxic level of “positivity” that makes others feel like they aren’t enough/doing enough etc. etc.
Look up “liar” in the dictionary and you will see her and her husbands faces.
I was a Rachel Hollis fan and then honestly her material became old. I am sad that she didn’t take the time herself to reach out to her followers letting them know she was taking a break to provide better content for her listeners. It was her producer!!!
I can’t stand the fakeness of this.
After the announcement of their divorce this week, it feels like their whole “lifestyle brand” is all just a sham.
Rachel Hollis’ entire life is a sham. In addition to being unqualified to give advice on relationships (now divorced- why didn’t she “choose happiness”?), building your own business (must be easy when your husband makes seven figures and has capital to give you), or being genuine (she’s not!), Rachel Hollis supports MLMs, promotes toxic positivity, and does this all under the guise of being a “Christian”. Hard, hard pass.
I listened to Rachel's podcasts regularly and bought her last two books. I was even considering attending one of her live events. Well, she just announced she's getting a divorce. While I feel for their children, I am angry for the farce I followed for so long and believed in. How could they be so deeply greedy that they launched a marriage podcast and marriage live events while going through marital issues for 2 years? Such fake people and fake advice. They ruined self-improvement podcasts in general for me.
Content is good and encouraging, but too many ads. Drowns our the beneficial information being presented. Waters it down.
Rachel has helped so many people make their lives better. She is inspiring and also gives specific tactics to make changes. The guests she brings on also have great information. She is relatable and real and I have loved getting into her work!
Can’t wait to read your new book. Congratulations and thank you for all the light you share. Bravo! 👏🏼
This review is a reminder to people who might be about to leave a review that this FREE podcast has too many ads. Unless you are going to fully fund this podcast to air, I am here to suggest that you think about what you are saying. If you are not a fan of the ads, you can simply skip forward on the episode. Most ads are 30 seconds to one minute. Apple even provides a handy button right on your screen to allow you to skip forward 30 seconds! Now you no longer have to hear about other free tools from The Hollis Co, or special offers from services that have a chance of benefiting your life. Sincerely, A happy listener
I just finished listening to episode 144. Let me start by saying that ORGANIZATION is my word of the year, this was a perfect podcast for me. Then it became even more personal, I’m Cindy and I will be turning 50 in July 2020!!! I felt as if I was listening to a personalized message from Rachel. Quarantine 2020 has been amazing for me. I have been able to pour into me in many ways. Next90Challenge has ignited my soul on some many levels. I’m here for all that is in front of me. Thank you
You are so motivated and inspiring! Thank you!!
Only four stars...not five because I WANT MORE! I wish there were more of these episodes per week.
She has such a beautiful, genuine, and kind soul. I am in love with all the content she has 💕
I wasn’t sure what to expect from this podcast, honestly I didn’t know if it would be a little cheesy (some “motivational” podcasts can be! Be honest!) but wow!!! This wasn’t what I expected! I was listening while folding laundry at 6 this morning and had to stop and grab paper to write stuff down because I kept going OOH! That’s good! Lol! Thank you so much for doing this and being so relatable!
So real! Thanks girl!
Rach!! I don’t know how to thank you enough! I just finished my freshman year of high school during this crazy time, but it has also been a time of reflecting in which I found your podcast! I’m so grateful for you example along with your amazing insights! I know that in ten years, holy cow- I will be incredible! You’re goal setting tip, of 10/10/1 is honestly the best thing ever!!!!!!! Thank you! Ignore all trolls and know that you are fabulous and I am so thankful for you!!!
She is so fake. It baffles me why anyone lets this plagiarizing “author” influence their lives.
Thanks Rachel you change my life! Me encanta tu contenido! Eres una mujer admirable y un ejemplo a seguir! Gracias!
I have been listening to this podcast for a while now, and I’ve been inspired countless times. I feel like it really lights a fire in me to push myself. That being said, I feel like there is a slight disconnect in the later episodes: 1. In the April 28th episode, one viewer is targeted somewhat harshly towards the end. I realize this is a great motivation tactic, but using negative “you” statements can make the person feel isolated—especially on a LIVE. 2. In the April 28th episode, viewers are asked to share how they’re genuinely feeling. Immediately after asking for honesty, Rachel says, “I’m doing AMAZING!” which is wonderful, but juxtaposed with asking others how they’re doing...it doesn’t sound too great. And it makes people not want to open up. 3. In the recent episode about working from home, I felt like we hardly heard from the guest speaker. She was constantly interrupted by Rachel. I don’t think Rachel realizes it, but it kept happening again and again. Bottom line, I love this podcast. I enjoy the content in the wisdom. I just want to encourage more humility, positivity, and grace. ❤️
I loved Rachel’s first book and started consuming all her content, but suddenly I feel like she got really popular and she got way too intense. I feel like she still has a few good points, but her delivery just doesn’t seem authentic to me anymore.
I just recently discovered Rachel and her books and decided to give her podcast a try. I love her message and her positivity! Reading her book and discovering her podcast and website have given me the mental boost I needed during these weird, challenging times.
Rachel-You’re earlier podcasts were much better. In today’s world, you have lost your humility. You interrupt guests in order to talk about yourself. Bring back the humility. Your voice is even different.
I’m not sure what qualifies Rachel to speak on some of these topics. Clearly a believer in the prosperity gospel, please do not listen if you are a practicing Christian. There are many more podcasts steeped in scripture and humility out there for you to listen to. There are only so many times one can say “choose joy” without giving any context on what joy actually means and where we get it.
Just what I need!
Best podcast ever!!
Some content is quite interesting, but it’s only sprinkled in between a myriad of ads and a promotional content. It is infuriating.
Rachel, you provide some fantastic content on this platform and I really do enjoy listening to the unique and intriguing guests that you bring on. Thank you for orchestrating these episodes! I binged them for a while to catch up! A critique that I have (and this comes from a place of love) is that you often interrupt your guests and it is very distracting. An episode that I never finished was one where you were interviewing your male friend that has ADHD and as he is answering your questions you interrupted him close to 6 times before I gave up and stopped listening. That episode was centered around staying focused and it was disheartening for me (another adult that suffers from ADD) to hear you speak over your guest. I can only imagine how he felt, despite your wonderful friendship. That information on staying focused is invaluable and every time you interrupted, my mind switched gears and I ended up not soaking up any information other than your side stories of how you manage to keep a friendship with a man other than your husband. I don’t know if this is something you can try and focus on alleviating but sometimes I squeeze my hands together while interviewing my guests on my Podcast to remind myself not to speak over them. (I came from a big family and it’s a bad habit I formed in childhood) just a suggestion!
Some good content but there’s ads every 5 minutes. Too annoying.
My favorite episode by far. I needed this. It was brutal and I loved it. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. My babies thank you! Bless!!!!!!
Thank you for continuing to lead from the front and showing the rest of us that it actually IS okay to go for more, no matter WHAT!!! Today’s (4/14/20) podcast absolutely validated my feelings (not that it is required!) it just feels good to know I am not alone in wanting to continue to SHINE even in tough seasons!!!
Nothing better than listening to Rachel during coronavirus. My mom recommended me the episode with Venezuelan author Michelle Poler from @hellofears and I have to say it has been one of my favorite ones. Can’t wait to continue listening!!
Rachel is the best. This has to be my favorite podcast. Recently listened to the Michelle Poler episode and felt 100% inspired, mostly now during corona virus times. Thank you again for bringing a powerful Latina to your show!
Love every episode 👏🏼👏🏼! If you want to listen to an empowering one, try the one with Michelle Poler from @hellofears — she faced 100 fears in 100 days. Sooooo good ♥️
I just heard your episode with @hellofears (Michelle Poler) and faced one of my biggest fears. You should bring her to your next Rise event ♥️👊🏼 she is GOLD!
The episode with Michelle Poler from @hellofears blew my mind 🙌🏼🤯! Favorite one by far! I just pre-ordered her book! ♥️ Thank you Rachel!!!!
I was really looking forward to this but turned it off after the first 10 minutes . Seriously , in this season you are talking about having to cancel your cleaning services and clean your own toilets ! Your floors are the cleanest they’ve ever been ! What an insult . That should have been a private first world problem conversation between you two . I’m normally a big fan but you missed the boat on this one . Us everyday people struggling through this don’t want to hear how bad the privileged have it now !! Maybe the show got better but I won’t know .
My husband and I listen to a lot of business podcasts together. We used to love listening this podcast and would pause and have great discussion on the little nuggets of advice she’d dish out. Now between all the ads you have to wade through and the promotion of rise/Hollis co/ new products/ this podcast feels like a continually sales pitch instead of any juicy business advice. I’m sadly unsubscribing...
This podcast has legitimately changed my life in more ways then one. I never knew my full potential, heck I didn’t believe I even had potential to be anything more than just another girl who followed along in the path their parents set out for them. This podcast helped me to follow my dreams and at age 20 I decided to start my content creating of fashion/travel/lifestyle and beauty. I am now a few months into following my dreams and I couldn’t have done it without this podcast. Thank you Rachel ❤️ my Instagram is oliviaharrington21
Rachel has been monumental in my life! I found her during a very low and dark place of self love. I read Girl Wash Your Face, watched a ton of You Tube Videos and watched the morning so! The thing I love most about these Podcast is the ability to gain so much more and repeat a million times for whatever I need in that moment! She accompanies me on many walks in the woods and helps to develop me into what I know my self worth is! 💖
Love this podcast!
Rachel, host of the RISE Podcast, highlight all good aspects and more in this can’t miss podcast! The host and expert guests offer insightful advice and information that is helpful to anyone that listens!
Long time listener, love this podcast and Rise Together. But the number of ads.. I can’t listen through them anymore.
I’m new here (to Rise) but I’m never going back. Rachel is on-POINT, her voice is easy to listen to, she’s humble yet FIERCE and I love her motivation.
Before finding all of Rachel’s amazing platforms, I was in an unmotivated, living life without purpose state of mind. I’m so thankful for Rachel’s tools and interviews on this RISE podcast. Are there ads every once in awhile? Yes - but this is FREE (amazing) content they are supplying us, so I’m happy to listen to the ads to be able to listen to the show. I look forward to every new episode and encourage new listeners to go back to the beginning and even listen to those older episodes because each one is filled with fire!
Rachel knows how to connect with women from every background. No matter what story she is telling we can all find a similar experience in our lives. She is an inspiration to many including myself. For those of you leaving bad reviews, please remember this is FREE content that she puts out. You do not have to pay to listen so if you don’t like it then just don’t like it and move on. Let others form their own opinions.
Awful. Vapid and annoying. Hollis’ “message” excludes millions of women who are not white and privileged. Truly worthless podcast.
I really enjoy her humor, stories and guest talks but these are overshadowed by the amount of ads intertwined in the content. Tried to get through them but can’t stand to listen any longer.
Dear Rachel Hollis, I am not impressed by your Oprah story. I too grew up with Oprah, I’m not going to exaggerate and say I saw every single one of her episodes but I saw enough to learn so many life lessons and I always watched Oprah handle herself with grace, compassion and most importantly authentic HUMILITY. I read girl wash your face, girl stop apologizing, I attended your rise conference in Minneapolis, I have listened to many of your rise podcasts and your rise together podcast. I’m happy for your family and that you’ve been able to grow your small business over the last couple of years. I am even genuinely happy that you’ve been able to help young girls when it pertains to growth. That is not lost on me. However you have a lot more maturing to do. The tone in your voice and the way you talk over many of your guests is so disheartening. (Example Amy Porterfield interview) Sometimes I’ve been so eager to hear their experiences but you either interrupt or you switch gears to the conversation being more about you, your lessons in life and your Rachel world. So tacky such a turn off. Oprah never used to do that not even when she was in her 30s the way you are now. You speak that Oprah is your queen, then I encourage you to go back watch footage of her see her in action take notes if you truly plan to aspire to be a great leader as she is. The humility is lacking big time, I was going to attend rise San Diego but I have no problem letting go of the money I spent on a ticket and sitting this event out. Yes today I raise my hand and say thank God I no longer drink the Rachel Hollis Kool-Aid.
This podcast seriously changed my life. Take 20 minutes out of your day to listen to this!! Rachel is amazing, thank you so much!!
Rachel Hollis totally changed my life. Let her change yours too!🙌
Loved the core of what both Stacey and Rachel shared. Many great points and quotes that I wrote down. The language used and how they were both intentional with the best word to describe what they went through was key. Loved! Would love to know what Stacey and/or Rachel’s favorite Enneagram test is! Please share
Stacey touched on so many points that Black women face as business owners. I totally could relate when she talked about organizations expecting you to speak for free or offer your services for free because this is a gift from God.
I LOVE Rachel Hollis and I am a huge fan. Until today, I would probably have purchased anything she recommended (and have purchased a bunch of her products) because she has impeccable taste. I am, however, incredibly disappointed that she has started advertising for Legal Zoom. As an attorney to small business owners I am incredibly disappointed she has started advertising for Legal Zoom. Rach- Do you actually use Legal Zoom for your business?
You guys, I was in a DARK place. My self esteem was crap, I was depressed, all the things. Then a friend recommended this podcast to me and I am not at all exaggerating when I say it changed my life. Rachel is such a powerhouse but also incredibly genuine. I feel like I am getting pumped up by the best friend in the world every time I listen to her. Less than a year later I am the most confident I have ever been in my life, in a great relationship, and just got a HUGE promotion at work. Now, listening to the podcast is not the only thing, I did the WORK to go with it. I did the exercises, write in my start today journal, read books Rachel recommended, force myself out of my comfort zone daily, etc. but Rachel gave me the tools and start that I needed. I am forever grateful to my pal Rach <3
I kept nodding my head the entire length of episode 134! Stacey Flowers was someone I could relate to as an empty nesting mama. Life has taken a monumental shift since sending my boys out into the universe and I was so thrilled to hear Stacey say that her 2020 canvas is BLANK! I have been struggling for the last 2 years to fill my vision board but I am not excited about anything enough to commit. My life was going 100 MPH with volunteering and supporting my kids and bonus kids and I need to feel safe taking some time to play and try some things before I jump into what’s next. Thanks for sharing these insights. I feel certain I’m going to sleep like a baby tonight.
I listened to episode 134 while getting ready for my day and Holy What The What Just Happened To Me? LIFE CHANGING! Thank you, Rachel Hollis for bringing amazing people and their stories into MY life so that I can understand my story better. And in return be better. Highly recommend.
Great podcast. I prefer the more self focused on improving your self and making big change but still learn from every episode
Way to go Rachel!!! Keep conquering!! I’m not going to lie, sometimes I get jealous, which makes me annoyed with all of your success!!! I’m just going to keep washing my face though, and follow your lead!!! Thank you for humbly inspiring us all to keep striving!!!
This episode provides great insight and tips for leaders on setting expectations and ways to successfully lead others. I especially enjoyed to part on showing appreciation on a daily basis. I am looking forward to putting what I learned into practice and sharing with other leaders.
I think this podcast has soooo much great content that should be shared with everyone. I feel inspired and encouraged to live a better life. However, I get frustrated while listening to this podcast since I can’t go 5-10 minutes without coming across an ad. I feel like I spend most of the time fast forwarding through the ads to get to the good stuff. I am all for self-promotion and sponsorships, however the placement of the ads take away from the content and makes it distracting, as well as makes me less likely to purchase the products advertised. I’m not sure if there is a better solution to this, but just my two cents.
I started listening to Rachel’s podcast after DEVOURING Girl Wash Your Face. Rachel’s real approach to getting honest with yourself and doing the things you MUST do to reach your goals is so refreshing. The entrepreneurs she has on this podcast underscore this idea. If you’re looking for a podcast that both motivates and inspires, this is it! 🤩
Great content, but there is WAY too much advertising. Just listened to a 30 min podcast and probably heard about 8 minutes worth of actual pod casting. The rest was ads. No thanks!
I used to really love this podcast, particularly the solo episodes (the interviews are majorly hit or miss). I found them really useful, inspiring, and actionable-most of the time. However, lately it seems like the effort put into the podcast is plummeting. There are SO many recent episodes that are either replays of other recordings, plugs for other content/business projects, or Rachel’s personal life content that isn’t actually useful or relevant to helping women move forward in business and life. I’m staying subscribed because every so often a useful episode comes out, and those are worth it. I also love to repeat old episodes that I found insightful and helpful. I’d love to see as much effort put into the future of this show as there was in the past, but unfortunately it seems like the podcast has really become a back-burner project.
5 months ago I would have gave this podcasts 5 stars! As time goes on she seems to me more into her self and her business. She interrupts interviewers a lot too. I wish she would take I down a notch and be a little more humble like she was. I think her success is getting to her
Wow such an inspiration! 🤩 Your podcast is amazing and so helpful and inspiring! I just started listening and I am already obsessed!💜
Your life is in your control! This is what Rachel preaches and She’s so right! She is smart, kind, and fun. If you like the books you will like the podcast too
I’ve been listening to Rachel for years and this review is certainly overdue. She provides me with soooo much GREAT free content and I just need to show her some love. She’s a big supporter of Network marketing companies which I appreciate. Thank you for letting us into your life and sharing all of this great information.
Please don’t let this woman ever speak again. I almost threw my headphones across the room while she was talking. There isn’t the need to go up in pitch as if you’re asking a question after.each.and.every.sentence!
2019 was what I consider my “growth year” training my growth mindset and learning. This year I’m acting on my mindset and I’ve confirmed it. This makes me want to quit my job today. Thank you so much for this. 💜🙏🏼
Rachel Hollis, I wish you were like my long lost aunt or something. You are AWESOME. Exceptional. You are the only podcaster I could turn on at the gym and run too. You’re just that motivational👏🏼 I strive to have a motivation like you. Currently reading Girl, Stop Apologizing. I LOVE IT. Thank you for the years of hard work that are over flowing into my life and my dreams. I hope to meet you someday😌
Believing in it before I see it. Living my life the best I can and how that looks for me. Thankful for being here in 2020. Rise Podcast is my favorite podcast, it’s one of the things that can bring me into happiness which leads me to so many beautiful experiences. Thank you Rachel again for being so willing to let us live your dreams with you. Life changing!
Straight up, one of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to. So many inspiring and motivating stories. I turn it on right when I wake up to get myself in a good headspace. I’m so thankful for Rachel and helping us find our worth.
I struggle with staying motivated and often feel myself falling into slumps. Whenever I need that little kick of inspiration Rachel is always there with some great tools or helpful words to get me back on track. Rachel- big fan, saw you in Hawaii during your Made for More movie tour. You and Dave are fabulous ❤️
A trusted friend recommended this podcast. The first episode I listened to was “Stop Letting Other People’s Opinions Control What You Create”. I recently had a friend tell me to stay in my lane with my new business & ideas I had. It was so disheartening. Rachel’s experience & self reflection made me feel less alone & inspired.
You are an inspiration to us all! Thanks for all you do to inspire!
As a woman business owner, this podcast as been a powerful tool! Thank you for encouraging me to put my head down, stay in my lane, and the power of 1, 2, 3 GO!
I love the Rise podcast ! But this is not the first time that a heard Rachel interrupting so much ! The title of this Podcast catch my eyes and I didn’t learnt anything from Taza . I’m always try to be positive, that’s why I love to hear Rachel! My sincere advice is to let your guess talk and don’t talk much about yourself.
Listened to the episode with Love Taza. I don’t understand what’s the goal here: are you talking about your own business or interviewing an entrepreneur? Because you basically just talked about yourself. I barely learnt anything about Love Taza. The rest of the time was full of commercials.
It’s an amazing thing you do Rachel Hollis, blessing the universe with all this empowering and uplifting content! Your knowledge and your experiences and those of the guests you have on are truly a gift. I thoroughly enjoy your company on my long commute to and from work!
Love your show. It motivates me and makes me put my own life in perspective personally and professionally. I know I can do so much but limit myself because of fear. I want to let that go. My goal is to attend your Rise Conference in January. Thank you for all you do. I just received my start today journal and looking forward to starting it tomorrow.
I used to play music in the background as I got ready and prepped my family for the day—packing lunchboxes, checking homework, etc. For the past 3 months I’ve been listening to RISE and other Hollis Co. Podcasts and it’s truly changed my entire mindset for the day! I’m being more intentional with myself, my family and my aspirations to do Event Planning full time. The START TODAY journal goes hand it hand as well. Kudos Hollis Co!
This podcast is an absolute must for your everyday life. I was never a listener or a fan of podcasts until i found RISE and RISE TOGETHER. I feel motivated and happy every single morning, by simply starting my day listening to RISE podcast. I love the amazing things she teaches. I love her energy, transparency, honesty, and motivation. Each episode leaves me feeling positive and encouraged. Through her podcasts I’m learning different ways to get rid of my self doubt and really taking action steps to achieving my dreams, not only as an individual, but also as a wife to my amazing husband. THANK YOU, Mrs. Rachel Hollis.
I just finished the podcast with Trent and it was amazing!! I kept rewinding the podcast because there are so many spot on important points that I really needed to hear and think about.
I never listened to podcast & never even knew Rachel until I saw the documentary on amazon. Loved the documentary so decided to look her up & fell in love with the podcast. I binged it while editing photos and during all my home projects. She just lights a fire & keeps me going. Glad to finally find someone so relatable & everything she’s said has been in my head for years just left unsaid Thanks so much rach for being my daily workout bud too
I’ve enjoyed this podcast so much. The stories people bring are enlightening, motivating, and impactful. One thing I noticed is that Rachel tends to say “yeah” a lot when people are sharing. I get that Rachel is vibing with the guest, but I felt distracted by her repeated “yeah” as the guest was speaking. She doesn’t need to remove all the yeahs but just reduce, use other words, or use her body language to tell the guest she is with them. Just found it distracting especially with headphones on. Keep up the amazing podcast!
This podcast has encouraged me to start focusing on myself. What can I do to move on from my ‘failures’ and start living my best life. Essentially washing my face and figuring out how to be me, unapologetically.
The chapter of the water organization IS BEYOND BEAUTIFUL!! I cried of happiness a couple of times during the interview!! What an inspiration his redemption and all what he has done for people to have clean water!! More chapters like these please!!! 😍😍😍
This podcast has taken me from down in the dumps on my bad days to helping me figure out how to live a better life. Rachel has introduced me to so many cool mentors, authors, and entrepreneurs. I really loved the first ever fireside chat episode with Scott Jeffrey Miller - it was an amazing format with open discussion and questions with a live audience. It captivated my attention and inspired me to order the book they were talking about.
WOW!!!! My favorite episode so far! Such great and tactical info!!! SO GOOD!!!!! Heidi Koch
Great content but the intro is like nails on a chalkboard. Please make it stop 🙉🙉🙉
Wow! This episode was INCREDIBLE. Scott gave amazing examples of how to communicate as a leader in the work place. I will definitely we looking into more of his work!
Such fire! Loved the content , the message I will be listening to it again for sure!!
I really enjoyed the fireside chat. Scott Miller’s view one culture and wisdom regarding leading a team is spot on. Such great insight!
Ever since I heard Rachel Hollis talking about how to publish a book on The Goal Digger Podcast with Jenna Kutcher, I was HOOKED. Seriously. There is so much goodness, realness, and honesty about her that not only challenges you but also makes you feel less alone. Girl, listen to this podcast!
I first learned about Rachel when I listened to the audio version of Girl Stop Apologizing ( a must read). I loved her unique voice and direct approach and wanted more. This is how I discovered the Rise podcast. I tune in every time I need a boost in motivation and Rachel never disappoints. It’s like having a really bossy BFF on speed dial :-)
Love this one!
Love to be able to listen to great people speaking truth to others out of love. Great examples of wholesome, caring people. Rachel you’ve helped change lives.
I am so grateful for Rachel and Dave Hollis for all you do for people personally and in the business world. You both are so inspirational and such real people that motivates us to become our better selves. Thank you for being your true selves!
Your podcast is the most inspiring podcast!! Thank you for bringing important topics and much needed solutions and ideas to us. You’re the best in this business for sure!
Learning about Rachel and her journey lead me to read her books and eventually to this podcast, which all lead me to realizing my dream of building my own business and put me on the path towards making that dream a reality. Not only is she knowledgeable on all-things business related and on making things happen, she is a no-nonsense and pump-up queen - I save this podcast for my runs because no other podcast lights my fire and gets me as pumped as this one. She’s full on insight, jokes, practical tips, and more. I love it!
Rachel, you are one of the reasons that I am a business owner and CEO. Your talk on saying yes to yourself and your family has inspired me to create more boundaries in my life and my business. My business has started to scale partly because of you and your podcast. Tahnk you for all you do. Sarah Ankney Sassy Pinterest Guru for Podcasters
Listening to this podcast is a highlight of my day and gets me motivated, encouraged, and going in the right direction. I’ve read Rachel’s books and have been inspired by her journey beginning as a self-taught wedding and event planner (like myself). Such a great listen for entrepreneurs, boss babes, or anyone looking for motivation and a voice telling you “you can do it” !
I don’t even know how to explain how amazing this podcast is! Rachel is so motivating, even when she is just talking about her life. I love hearing her insight and her tips are truly actionable. No fluff here. I can’t get enough of this podcast!!
A 4 min intro is just too much guys. Once I get through that, the podcast is always amazing EVERYTIME! 😁
I have been listening to Rachel for the past 1.5 years. She is extremely inspirational and down to earth. I feel she speaks directly to me. Her books & podcasts have changed me. I’ve had more growth in the past 1.5 than I ever have. Listen to Your pal Rach!
“Yeah, yeah, yeahh. Yes, yah, yeaah, mhmm, yeah, yeah, yeahyeahyeah. Yeah, yah. Totally. Mhmm yes, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. -Rachel Hollis during every interview. Great potential but this constant talking over people with nothing to contribute drives me insane. It’s just bad manners.
Rachel, You are such an amazing inspirational woman. I have watched your movie on Amazon Prime “Made for More” multiple times, I own several of your audio books and listened to both of your podcasts on a regular basis! I am an entrepreneur and appreciate your help, motivation and great advice on what it takes to make your dreams come true. Thank you for I inspiring others like you do!!! ❤️❤️😁
I’ve been listening to Rachel Hollis for a few months now and I cannot get enough. I have read all the books, listene to all the podcasts, and now am listening to Rise Together- which is also FIRE!! Just listened to the episode with Ken Coleman and it was right on the money for me!!! SO MUCH YES!! So dang grateful for this podcast and the amazing stories and advise you provide. THANK YOU!
I LOVE THIS WOMAN! I recently started listening and everyday I am so inspired by her words! I don’t even listen to the radio anymore I listen to podcasts and this one is always playing!!!! Now I need to go buy her book😍
Girl I am giving 100% love in this. I love how you don’t worry how you look on camera. I love how you are sooo real and honest. I love your enthusiasm. I love that you are the ULTIMATE hype man. I love how your relationship with your husband is solid but not fake. Thank you for not being the glass house. Thank you for showing us that we can be our true natural selfs on camera. Thank you for proving that you don’t need to be “Instagram model” to be successful. And of course your amazing business advice. Thank you for re-energizing the free information on the internet with fresh new ways to do business. Thank you for showing me I can be an amazing mother and wife and still have a kick a** business. I just wish I could give you a hug and tell you that your doing so much good and the haters are low performers that need to tear you down to their level so they feel that their crappy work ethic is acceptable. Thank you for giving me PERMISSION to start LoloRose Design. You da best.
Love listening to this and the Rise together podcast. Love how listening to this fires you up!
Love this RISE Podcast! Grateful💁🏻💜
I listen to it on my way to school everyday ❤️❤️❤️
I love listening while I run in the morning! Such great advice and it really gets you motivated first thing!
First let me say the person who gave you 1 star and called you shallow has way to much time on her hands to take the time to put someone down who she doesn’t even know..rude!! But I’m here to tell anyone who is looking into listening to a podcast that real raw and quite unique you want to listen to the rise podcast and also the rise together one she does with Dave. I have literally been following you for a few weeks and I’m in.. I’m doing the last 90 days for the first time. I listen to your podcasts every morning while I’m at the gym. I’m laughing while I’m on the treadmill cuz it’s hilarious the things you and Dave talk about. So much substance in your conversations and the advice you give your listeners. I just listened to the one of the 5 love languages. Such a good one.. quite frankly all of the podcasts I’ve listened to so far are awesome.. anyway my review is getting way to long . But Dave asked us to give a review so I Am. But anyone who wants to listen to something awesome and motivating and just straight up real go get hooked on rise together with Dave and Rachel Hollis. Love them., Can’t wait for rise conference 2020. !!! God bless you.
Love everything about this podcast on the days I feel alone and no one gets me I listen to RISE - she gets me! I am her. No matter how long my dreams of entrepreneurship take me it’s okay. Rachel has instilled the confidence in me that as long as I do the work and show up consistently it will come. Thank you for adding value to all our lives.
So freaking good, real, honest and uplifiting <3 Love this and your books!
Love the episode with Phoebe. Great interview.
I LOVE this podcast. Listen to it every week. So much knowledge and goodness!
The 5 signs of burnout is totally me right now. I’ll be listening to this again. As I try to find where I need to be in my life, you are motivating me to know I’m not just crazy. I am not in the right place right now but can refocus my efforts to put me in the right place! Thank you!!!
What makes Rachel Hollis qualified in any way to be handing out life advice? So ready for this self proclaimed “self help” movement to be over
Thank you for always working hard to provide content that is extremely useful to everyday life. You’re so relatable and you inspire me to be my best self. Xo
Thanks for your inspiration podcasts! Love listening
My new line 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Rachel you are so motivating and generous! Love your show so much!
Thank you for continuing to provide masterclass advice and encouragement for free! When I listen to you - I feel like we're talking one on one! Thank you for sharing your struggles - that's where a lot of us are. Freaking love it! :)
This podcast, fires me up every single day. I love the passion Rachel has for life and for helping women succeed. She is the biggest dreamer and my role model! She shows that if you have the drive and the work ethic, and a plan, ANYTHING you want to achieve is possible! If I ever need to be motivated, THIS is where I come.
her voice, her strength. 17 years and old and the words that she speaks help me little by little everyday. weather it’s about how I see myself or dealing with anxiety. These teens years are your toughest years, finding a college, finding yourself. this podcast is a help like no other, wether she’s telling you a story or she’s telling you how to help yourself. would recommend to any woman who just needs an extra voice; and extra hand.
Love her podcasts ! Amazing ! Did anyone get the zip recruiter URL from her ?
I have never listened to such a inspirational female who literally lights my heart on fire with every episode. She is such a gift. She talks about the hard topics in a way that makes you feel like the impossible is possible! Rachel thank you for being you and sharing yourself with us.
What an inspiration! Admrie her drive & fierce attitude to rise through above.
Rachel is an amazing, incredibly inspiring person. She’s super genuine, super direct, and super helpful. I’m so thankful she has decided to pursue her God given calling with such a ferocity, because she has and will continue to help women all over the world in a way no one else has done before. Thank you Rachel!
This is the first time I have written a review online. Literally ever. I have listened to almost every episode. I love how easy it is to listen to Rachel's voice. You feel like you're listening to your best friend just chatting away with another friend. Every episode has some nugget of truth and growth in it. Loooove it! I'm not even an entrepreneur or a business person at all. It is still so interesting. I have such a huge reading list going from this podcast.
One of my favorite podcasts. It’s hard to get out of my car to go into work when I have not finished an episode. Love!
It’s not about just business talks, it’s everything! It is life!
Your podcast is launching me to a completely new way of thinking (in a good way!). I really appreciate your sage advice, knowledgeable guests you interview and tangible take away to get stuff done. You are my inspiration! Thanks Rach!!!
I listen every Tuesday!! Love, love, love Rachel and Dave!!
I love this podcast! It has broadened my horizons personally and is giving me so many things to look into for personal growth!
Just wondering if anyone has suggestions for this girl. I just finished dental school, which wasn’t something I really WANTED in my heart but society and family were so imprinted in my subconscious. I don’t like being a dentist, I have 300K in debt and I know I want to transition to a different career. I’m not clear on what to go to and am seeking some advice!
Thanks for all of your wonderful talk . I love how positive you are. I’m on day 26 on my start today journal. I just joined a gym and got a trainer. Thanks so much. Time to get healthy and stronger.
Rachel Hollis is amazing!! I have just found her and all her Platforms, she has inspired me to step out of my own way, put my fear aside and take charge of my dream. Thank you so much for all you have taught me.
15% of this podcast is good advice. The other 85% is Rachel and her guests bragging about their success. They literally just ramble on about how many Instagram followers they have and video views. No adult human should care about these type of things. Example: See the “How to Rebuild Your Life” episode. Trent and her spend 95% of the interview talking about how awesome they are and their IG followers. It’s insane and it sounds lame. Seriously, fix this. Because a small amount of your message is actually good.
I love how Rachel does not hold back from telling the truth and what you need to do. I love listening to her podcasts and recommend them to any female (sometimes male) when I get the chance. I am working hard to develop better habits in my life. This is especially important to me since I have three daughters who are watching everything I do and learning good and bad from my actions. (That’s right, I didn’t put words cuz I know how they can get blocked out) I am glad I found her and have become part of her tribe of wonderful people!!
Had to unsubscribe and unfollow her channels because I’m tired of her trying to appeal to Christian women by spouting out biblical stuff that is no where in the Bible, at all. I asked a question about this on her husband’s instagram after he posted one of her “quotes” and got blocked and deleted. Can’t even answer a sincere question. Either go to seminary, or at least read your bible before you go trying to be Pastor Rachel for the masses.
Rachel Hollis basically regurgitates cult rhetoric. Why listen to her podcast? 🤷♀️
I am new to Rachel Hollis but I’m running to get caught up. Listening to the backlog and it seems as if she’s been in my head and then kicks me in the butt. So honest and a vast ocean of knowledge.
Loved this episode. Thank you for your honest and important message about resilience and strength. Admire how you stayed authentic and true to yourself. Good job Rachel on bringing us such great content and shedding light on cool people like Trent!
You rock my world girl! I’m obsessed with your energy and heart( but not in a weird creepy way 😆🥰) What you do matters and has changed my life! ❤️
The cadence and quality have really improved. Must have more staff dedicated to this now which is great!
I’ve heard you speak before and I was drawn to you and then went through personal things that your stuff sorta triggered in me. Hearing you talk on your podcast blows me away girl. Thank you. Keep doing what your doing.
This woman, Rachel Hollis, is the voice every woman needs to hear right now. She is beyond motivational, honest, gentle yet real. She speaks as though she is you best friend in that give you the kick in the pants that you need.
I can't believe I'm only now finding these treasures but I'm so grateful.. THANK YOU.
Wow! I’m in tears! My first podcast review but it had to be done because this podcast spoke to me! I’ve spent a lot of time lately feeling bad about things I’ve missed because I didn't lose this weight sooner, didn’t devote more time to my business sooner, didn’t figure out a way to get my irritability in check so my kids don’t have a mom that yells - could’ve, would've should’ve...these thoughts rotate through my head daily and make me feel terrible about myself and my life. But you know what bows the time. I’m not going to sit with regrets any longer!
Rachel speaks truth. She gets it - she understands our mental battles & daily struggles. I love listening to these podcasts, sometimes on repeat! I leave inspired & motivated to do my best. Or better than my best.
This is one of the best podcasts out there and that's not an understatement.
I love Rachel’s voice- it’s so friendly and authentic. I so appreciate her empowering message
This week’s episode made me so happy that you laugh at yourself and you don’t edit out your “I lost what I was going say” and your “let me get my phone and look up Thomas Edison.” This Podcast is helping me RISE in my personal life and grow my business. Xoxo Heidi from Birth Story Podcast
Rachel is so positive and uplifting in spirit and mind! Her humor is a breath of fresh air! Thank you Rachel! 😘
This is an awesome podcast! It’s so fun to listen to and super helpful! Love it.
Don’t miss out on any episodes. If your fire feels like it’s dimming out, just listen. It will stoke the flames again. Amazing amazing amazing!! ❤️
I’m the anti-hype type. If it’s the “best thing ever”, I’m usually like, “I’m out”. A friend pestered me a year ago about Rachel’s book Girl, Wash Your Face. I don’t know what made me do it, but after several did-you-read-it-yets, I bought the book, and subsequently devoured Girl, Stop Apologizing. Rachel Hollis is for real. She simplifies success and puts the things that hold us back into perspective. I was hooked and wanted her in my ear holes everyday! I surround my me-time with wisdom from Rachel, her hubs Dave, and her life skills friends that she’s intro’d me to (check out Jenna Kutcher and Kelly LeVech, y’all). This podcast is my morning drive, my evening commute, and shower sesh. So, so very good!
This Podcast is changing my life...literally changing my life! Thank you Rachel ❤️
Rachel: strong..beautiful..fierce! All of her words are said with wisdom.
Rach, you make me cry on the daily and inspire me like no one else can! Love everything you’re putting out there and can’t wait to meet you in person someday! XO
I’ve been a follower for about a year and just listened to the leadership chapter from girl, stop apologizing. Diverse leaders is so important and something I’m extremely passionate about. The chapter articulated the message so well and I’m so grateful that message is getting out there.
Rachel’s wisdom and charisma is inspiring! She is a “dynamite kinda gal” that is changing the world for good!
I first met Rachel at Brendon Burchard’s Experts Academy event. She did a fantastic keynote speech which was the BEST keynote among all other keynote speakers at the event. Her message resonated with me. It was until I heard about her recent interview with Brendon and got to know about her podcast. I subscribed immediately and started listening. I listened to most of her episodes and read her books. However, when it comes to her keynote speeches, I feel like I hear the same speech over and over again. I heard her speak 3 times; one on Brendon Burchard’s Experts Academy stage, another time on Kajabi Impact Summit and another one on Growth summit. I heard the exact same speech repeated 3 times! She starts off with Beyoncé song. Then she makes you stop dancing and then she makes you stand up and dance again with the song. Then continues by asking the audience engagement in her speech ( and she uses the exact same script) then she talked about her baby and pregnancy story and finally she talks about the hard things that you will face after the conference ( e.g, comparing yourself, O.P.O, etc). She says she doesn’t repeat the same speech twice, but I heard her say the exact same speech every time I heard her on the stage. I like her and follow her, but I don’t like hearing the same keynote speech many times. I challenge Rachel to find more creative ways and new scripts for her keynote speeches, otherwise people will get bored hearing her deliver the same speech over and over again.
Rachel Hollis has become one of my all-time favorite people on the planet. Currently in my mid-twenties, I’ve entered a place of longing for advice and having a deep hunger for more. Rach says every single thing I wish I could hear from a mentor or family member. So many people recount their life stories with ‘I wish someone had told me that’, and Rachel is telling me THAT before I even get there. From health, to being yourself, to getting motivated for work, her entire lifestyle is something worth pouring your heart into. She is doing the most selfless thing in the world by pouring all of her energy & talent, literally every fiber of her being, into passing along every life lesson she’s ever learned. It’s clear that she has worked her butt off and gone through so much to get there, and I respect the heck out of her for it. She is an inspiration and I will be forever grateful to her for turning around and helping the next one in line.
My friend introduced me to this podcast... I had actually never heard of a podcast before and this was the first one I listened to. I’ve read Rachel’s books and loved them all as well. I’m making my way through all of her podcasts because I love the life that she speaks! Her motivation gets me through days, and some days I will tell myself to get at it because Rachel Hollis can!
In a difficult, busy, lonely, and anxiety-ridden point in my life, this podcast lifts my spirits every time I listen to it. Whether it’s hearing Rachel tell me that I CAN do anything, or listening to the stories of incredible, powerful women, I always feel so inspired and motivated when I listen to each podcast. My husband works long hours, and I don’t have many friends, so my apartment can be devastatingly quiet and lonely most of the time. I turn on Rachel’s podcast, and suddenly, I don’t feel so alone. Thank you, Rachel. I wish I could put into words the impact your books and podcasts have had on my life. 💜
This last episode on “How to be successful without compromising your health”, was so packed with information I can implement right away. It was very helpful and I came away so encouraged. Thank you!
You deserve 10 stars! Thank you for being real and sharing from your heart! You are making a difference! xoxo
My sister introduced me to this podcast and the Rise Together podcast over the weekend. I have only listened to 2 episodes so far but I am in love! Rachel is amazing. I love her personality and the content she is sharing! You won’t be disappointed. ❤️
I absolutely love you! You’re truly an inspiring human being!!!! 😊
If you’re looking for honest conversation, laughter, tears, and lots of inspiration... this podcast is for you. I absolutely love what Rachel is bold enough to talk about each episode. It shows me that 1) I’m not alone and 2) we’re all in this together. Her latest episode with IT Cosmetics CEO Jamie was the best yet. 🔥🙌🏻 My only warning is to not listen before bed... you’ll be so motivated you won’t be able to sleep. 😉 Thank you Rachel!
I enjoy every moment of each podcast! Rachel always has guests that provide so much insight and knowledge. She is never afraid to let the conversation develop organically, allowing us to glean wisdom to assist ourselves in business and personal growth.
Love love love!! Gets me through the workday. Especially the newest podcast with IT Cosmetics CEO!
I wish I could give Rachel and this PodCast 500 stars. I absolutely love her! She’s so inspiring, motivational and honest. Her books are just as amazing. Keep going Rachel!
I like Rachel and love her heart for lifting up people. Sometimes...she tends to lean a bit to the preachy side. I say this as honest feedback. Not as a hater. So I hope she and her husband do not unleash on me via social media. 😝Look, I have read all her books and really enjoy her tips and videos. And she is human like the rest of us. Just sharing her gifts! Nobody is perfect. I’m not. She is not. You are not. So again-I do not write this as a hater! Whenever she gets preachy-like on her Stop Apologizing chapter on leadership-I just skip over it. So it does not bother me. So I do love this podcast. Just take what you want and leave what does not serve ya!
Love Rachel and her inspiration!! The first episode that caught my eye was episode 86!!! I have automatically subscribed after listening to that episode! I definitely resonate with everything you said. I’m so happy to have come across this podcast. I also have been through a lot of pain in my life and now suffer from anxiety but I’m taking steps to improve my mental health and overall life. Thank you Rachel ❤️.. I would soon be writing a letter to myself.
Great information. I’m so glad you include your faith in your information. Thanks for being exceptional.
It’s only been in recent years that I’ve found this amazing podcast. But, after totally falling in love with Girl Wash Your Face, I’m here to stay. The Rise podcast is my go-to place to find practical tips and stories that not only inspire me to strive for greatness, but also make me feel a part of something that’s changing our world for the better. Thank you, Rachel, for helping us know we’re all Made for More!
It’s OBVIOUS you are best friends. Just making my way ‘round to the Rise Together podcast, and it’s great. I am on episode 3 after listening to episode 2 aka episode 1, and laughed more than a few times. It’s a worthwhile listen for couples or individuals looking to hear positive talk about creating a stellar relationship. Side note Rach and Dave, after working in a related field for two decades, your real estate agent should have provided the deets on your trash pickup. 😂 that is hilarious!
Thank you for being so transparent, your humility is refreshing.
I am so grateful for this podcast! I love the guests & Rachel is amazing!
I am all for supporting and empowering women, and I wanted to love this podcast so bad. Tried the book, the Instagram, YouTube, the podcast. There’s this artificial layer on the surface. Feels like she’s almost curating her imperfection to appeal to the masses. There are some excellent messages and lessons, but there is a disconnect from reality here. Also, her support for MLMs randomly throughout her messages is not great (considering what we’ve come to learn about them).
I’ll admit to being one of those folks who, when I heard Rachael for the first time, thought she was kind of like that annoying best friend who always gives really great advice. Darn it - you have to take that advice. And then she grows on you. As I started listening to other podcasts out there I realizedRise stands apart as one that is well produced, easy to listen to AND that often gives tangible advice on the how tos of business, of self-motivation, self-appreciation. Is Rachel perfect - no, she is human. She is honest about this. Thank you for your wonderful podcast!
Rachel Hollis is the type of person you want to be stuck in line next to at the grocery store. She is humble, hilarious and inspirational. The plethora of inspirational people she has on her podcast range from self made photographers to motivational speakers. Not one episode is devoid of power, truth and humor. I look forward to every episode for a reminder that I am enough, and capable of so much more.
My life changed forever when a friend recommended Rachel Hollis’s podcast to me. I take away knowledge from every single episode, whether it be business, love, or confidence related - I’m constantly jotting down notes and book recommendations. It is the perfect podcast to listen to during work and light a fire in your belly to do your best work or to shine some more light on your side hustle & true passions! Can’t go a day without hearing what my pal Rach has to say! I don’t know what I’ll do with myself when I’m all caught up and rationed to one episode a week!!
So happy I found you, such an inspiration!
I’m a Beachbody coach and I am so excited to hear you live at our summit in July. I love the truth that you speak. You help me to not only want to be a better person but I want everyone around me to grow with me. I also subscribe to Rise Together because I can’t get enough of this awesome content that you share💕.
I just learned about you 3 weeks ago. I know have both of your books, and am listening to your podcasts. Thank you so much for the podcasts and your books
Every time I tune in, I learn something. Every single time. And not only that, but it’s tangible and applicable in my life and business right away...which means it’s always worth the time I spend listening. The time and energy that’s put into this podcast is paying off for so many...what you are doing is so insanely valuable and I’m so thankful for you, Rachel. You are a major part of my rising. You are a gift. ❤️
I love this podcast episode so much. I recently started a new direct sales business selling CBD oil and other supplements in the health and wellness industry. I was having a hard time explaining my “Why” coherently. So much of what Jessica said to me spoke to me as a Christian, mom, and business owner. It also gave me courage when dealing with the many people who have a negative view towards Direct Sales companies. Thank you again! I am LOVED. I am WORTHY. I HAVE A VOICE AND I WILL USE IT!
YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! I’m obsessed with listening to you. Girl, Wash your face BEST book ever!!! Thank you Rachel Hollis you are an inspiration to all
I have listen to A LOT of amazing podcasts, to the point where I don't even listen to music in the car, and haven't for two years! I have never felt a stronger need to write a review and simply say, thank you. I just listened to episode 86: A new chapter from "Girl Stop Apologizing", and this spoke so deeply to me I cried, and then bought the book! I am a stay at home mom with a 7 month old. I have been looking for a way to get "unstuck" in my own story, and create a life for myself outside of my husband and baby. I also didn't graduate from college, and from that point on; I had the same limiting beliefs that I'm not smart enough, and I don't finish anything I start. This mindset has been so detrimental to my life and has seemed impossible to break. For the first time, after listening to that episode, I feel so much hope. And even more importantly, I feel like it's actualy possible to make this mindshift change. Thank you for being so honest about your story and doing the work you do. It's more helpful than you know. Now I can't wait to dig into the book! D. Louise
Amazing podcast. Rachel Hollis is authentic, relevant, and never fails to make you think twice about what you’re capable of. Grateful for this girl and that she created this podcast.
I have gotten so much confidence listening to this podcast. After a hard and emotional beginning of last month, I am starting to come out of a rut. Eventually I found myself back here and I am so blessed to have such a great resource to come back to when I need a boost. I have been religiously listening to this podcast, along with a few others, incorporating what I learn here into my life I am already seeing progress. As a freelance business owner and mom, it is amazing what a little butt kicking on a podcast can do. Thank you, Rachel!
Rachel....wow!!! What an amazing chapter that just hit home for me!!! I cannot wait for the whole book. Thank you for your truth! ❤️
But forreal, if you aren’t loving and feeling inspired by Rachel, you’re missing out! She’s doing great sweetie! (Kris Jenner voice) 🤣❤️ Thanks Rachel you are changing my life! One step and goal at a time 😘😘😘😘
So much amazing content! Guests bringing info I would never have heard elsewhere. Inspiring AND enlightening. Keep up the good work kiddo🙂. Val
I absolutely love Rachel and this show!
I recently listened to Girl Wash Your Face. And now found this podcast, I’m waiting patiently for March 12..... I say all this to say, you have completely lifted my spirits and encouraged me to take the next steps in my business. Don’t listen to the nay sayers bc they just don’t get it and that’s ok but you my friend are gifted ❤️❤️
LOVE listening to this podcast! 🙌🏼 I enjoy hearing the real, tangible advice on being an entrepreneur, which is something I am starting to learn. It gives you a peek at what’s behind the curtain of owning a business without making you feel like you need a membership to some secret club. Thank you for always showing up authentically! 🙏🏼
I absolutely love Rachel and everything she has to say! She is my mentor!!
I love listening to you on your Podcasts and while reading and listening to you read me your books. Please continue to do what you do! You are defiantly a blessing!
I write this with strings tugging at my heart. Rachel is a huge inspiration and has produced great products like The Start Journal. However lately her humility has become almost non-existent. She preaches not judging others but has done nothing but that as of late, especially when it came to the Jussie Smollett case. If there’s a critic, she says they don’t matter and they think small. However if my name was John Maxwell she’d listen to the feedback. I hope she gets back to her humbling heart and realizes that some fans aren’t criticizing her but providing feedback
Girl I love you! You have made a difference in my life and you Rock! Your topics hit home and I get something from every podcast. Don’t stop!
Rachel Hollis is so amazing and inspriing. I may be older but she inspires me to do more with what I have. Her books and podcast are wonderful.
Thanks Rach for keeping it real all while delivering practical ways to grow in most all aspects of life! You encourage me to keep it real while being proud of who God created me to be. I enjoy learning from you!
I accidentally stumbled into the reviews. The first one I saw is just ugly. This girl is on fire. Like I am inspired by her. I listen to her podcast because I am a firm believer that what you put in is what comes out. I believe she said “you are the combination of the five people you spend the most time with.” So if she’s one of those people that are included in my top 5 people I spend my time with (thank you IG, FB, Podcast, YouTube, Ect.). Then I’m honored, and I know that I am a better person because of that. Y’all. Take what you want. Leave the rest. I am grateful for her podcasts. Some work for me. Some I can’t relate to. But at the end of the day when my motivation is low, my drive is low or I’m in a funk, I’ll start one of her podcasts and get a dose of tough love that I need. Thank you Rachel!
I love the podcast and her coaching online is amazing. I got to meet Rachel a few weeks ago and she the most real woman and I honor her for that. Look forward to Rise in Dallas!!
I love the content of your interviews but for the love of God you say YEAH a million times during your interviews!!!! 😩 Aahhh
Every day I want to learn to be better than I was the day before, and now that I’ve found this podcast, I’m making that easier! Thank you for sharing real life and real ways to show up better in our world!! You’re a great example of how much we can do when we put our hearts into it!
Rachel, the host and author, creates a fake sense of real life while simultaneously plagiarizing others. Her “message” is littered with cult-like undertones and body shaming. It’s sad seeing the following she has gained. Her book was awful enough, she should not have a platform to reach more folks on a consistent basis.
I think everything about Rachel is so genuine and real. She opens up about the real life struggles and how to overcome. You are the best! I listen to you every single day.
When you see nothing but 5 stars and 1 star reviews you can bet your sweet butt that the podcast is AWESOME and that it makes “some people” insecure. Which turns them in to keyboard warriors and haters. The venom spewed by these anonymous “listeners” (doubtful they actually listened) is appalling and downright erroneous. Does Rachel some times re-use content... yeah. But last time I checked THIS IS FREE people. And she is KINDA BUSY. Also, even when re-used, it’s still just as good as the first time. I appreciate the great inspiration and motivation I gain from this podcast and every other Hollis Co thing I can get my paws on. Keep it up guys! We love you.
Keep up the awesome work. Your hard work and dedication is appreciated!!! You touch peoples lives and authentically and create 🔥 fire to thrive!!!! Preach sister!!
I’m only in one chapter into your book and 3 podcasts and you’ve already helped me so much. Thank you! Please don’t listen to the negative reviews!
I’ve never left a podcast review but am inspired to show my support after seeing the absurd amount of haters spewing negativity on this review board. I discovered Rachel last fall and her content has had a profoundly positive impact on my life- I recommend her to all women I come across. It’s just ironic that people can have such a strong, caustic reaction to someone who’s literal only purpose is to give women tools to help change their lives. Girls, if it’s not for you, move on! But some of us are enjoying improving our lives with help from Rach’s humor, honesty and pep talks. Keep preaching, Hollis Co., and don’t let the haters get you down.
I really like how I can get a glimpse into all these guest speakers ideals. I like to hear quality podcasts, and often don’t know who is worth my very precious time. With this podcast, I get valuable insight, and an introduction to so many speakers that have a quality message to share. I now have a full library of so many different podcasts and topics that interest me and am so excited for all the wisdom of these people’s experiences I get to pull from. I love what she has to say, I love her best friend style, and I love that she introduces me to so many people I can learn from. Thanks!
Wow I am blown away. What an amazing interview with Joe Biden. Such a powerful message. Love how he embraces his faith and tradition of family.
First, thank you so much for everything you produce. You are a big influence in my life and are helping me to propel myself forward in my busines, my relationships, and my own individual self. I have used your suggested ideas of the calendar audit, relationship evaluatoin with my significant other (creating core values, asking how we showed up for each other and others, etc), implementing weekly date nights, the five to thrive, consistently having a morning routine. Just so much advice that you have provided. I am grateful for every minute of it and aim for listening to an episode almost every day. Sometimes listening to the same episode a few times to really absorb the information and to take notes. I have a topic idea that I would love you to touch on if you haven't already. I have listened to a majority of your episodes, but still not all, so I might have missed this topic and will see if I can find any episodes covering it. The topic I would love to hear about is dealing with toxic clients. I am usually pretty good at knowing to whom to say yes and to whom to say I think you need someone else. However, any suggestions when caught with a client who is toxic and just won't go away or that you need to finish your time together? I feel that I am pretty good at getting rid of or dealing with the stressers in my life, but this is one area that I am not good at. When I have a toxic client, they quickly are a trigger to my anxiety and make it difficult to get out of that anxious state taking away focus from the bigger picture and what really matters. By the way, what is the deal with those givine one stars becuase you hate MLMs? Get over it and find the other awesome take aways from this podcast! Or just go somewhere else to either grow or die (not literally die but the die from "You're either growing or dying.") I'm personally not a fan of MLMs but that doesn't mean they are the devil or that this podcast isn't sensational. You might not like purses, but that doesn't mean because Rachel interviewed Kate Spade that this podcast isn't golden... By the way, loved that episode even though I don't carry a purse.
I really love Rachel Hollis’ podcast. She is real and raw and fierce! She tells it like it is. She doesn’t sugar coat it. She’s your best friend telling you what you need to hear. So glad I found her!
This is, by leaps and bounds, the best podcast I have ever heard. I was spellbound the entire time. Regardless of your political affiliations or beliefs, listening to this man recount his life one story at a time is extremely powerful and moving. Rachel, you are a freakin rockstar! Please keep doing these types of interviews/podcasts.
I really enjoy Rachel’s podcast when she uses fresh content for her material. I completely understand using an interview from an event or a speech here and there, but when the podcast has become consistently using content from interviews from other people’s podcasts or previous events, it comes across as lazy. Using recycled materials every once in a while, such as once a month, would perhaps be a more effective use of this platform. Obviously this last year has been a whirlwind for this company, but if you have one of the top podcasts in the world, it seems that it should require some more effort to produce original content. I enjoy the show very much, which is why I hope that it will continue to get better.
Joe Biden interview is informative, entertaining and truly moving 😌 And in answer to his question...Yes I lost my mother. But I am more than surviving. It is so amazing to listen to how he looks at loss. He turns it into empowerment!!!
This is such a great podcast! So many topics. The Joe Biden interview.... Wow, just wow! What an inspiration.
This podcast is a true breath of fresh air. Rachel brings a sense of humor and genuineness to everyday conversations. The guest speakers are phenomenal and just as down to earth as Rachel. Give it a listen and I know you’ll be hooked!
I loved it. She does need to be a little bit less centered on herself, I agree with the others who say that but, over all she is doing good. Gets better every time. I like her and her company a lot.
Thank you for sharing your self development journey with us. Thank you for giving us the tools that have worked for you and what books you have read to find these tools. I love the way that you speak to your audience as if we are right there on the couch with you. I love the people that you have been interviewing and their ideas to help improve business and/or self development. Finally thank you for taking the time out of your busy life to record these podcasts and share it with all of us.
I am on the younger side and I don’t have kids but I want you to know you have helped me beyond belief. I was diagnosed with Lupus about 2 years ago, I was 26. My first thought was “why me? Why did this have to happen to me, I’m young and healthy. What did I do wrong in life”. I ended up going through a downward spiral very quickly without even realizing it soon after my diagnosis. I decided about a year later I was going to stop feeling sorry for myself and do more with my life. I found a job in Nashville and decided to make the move from Texas within about 2 month. My absolutely wonderful, supportive fiancé at the time agreed and we were off to Nashville. This was 4 months before our wedding, which was in Texas. Turns out the job I relocated for was a complete joke and everything they promised me was a lie. It was the most miserable 6 months of my life. Again, I thought “why me? Why did I move my family here? Now I am planning my wedding out of state. The depression has just gotten worse and it’s all my fault.” I read your book Girl Wash Your Face and started avidly listening to your podcast at this time. I decided to quit my job (without having found a new one yet) once again my wonderful, supportive, now husband was with me every step of the way. I ended up finding a new position within the month (I have a strong sales background so there is a lot out there) that is literally perfect for me and I love doing what I do everyday. I have recently decided I’m getting my real estate license to start a side hustle. After crashing and being at the lowest place mentally that I’ve ever experienced, I can now confidentially say I am now the happiest I have ever been. I know I am the reason I am where I am today, the persistence, the tenacity to never give up, the focus....but you helped guide me to this happy place and I can’t thank you enough. I know there will be many more trials in my life to come, but I’m ready, I know I can get through it.
Very inspiring podcast!
John Maxwell interview: listen to it 3 times. 1-to /just/ listen 2-write every pin point down that speaks to you 3- review everything you listen to and wrote down. So good! Thx for sharing his leader shift wisdom with us rachel!!
Love Rachel’s energy, passion, and she’s a funny gal too. It’s nice to find content that’s relatable and genuinely encourages folks to work hard, be tenacious, and keep moving forward tackling those obstacles in life. Great guests too.
I have a local pet care business in my town and this podcast is super helpful and motivational for me! I will add, I don’t understand all the MLM reviews, i’ve listened to the bulk of the episodes and it’s not about MLM businesses at all so those are fairly misleading. I’m glad to have another woman to learn from in the personal growth and business space, thanks Rachel!
Wonderful podcast to help you keep going, be strong, be you!
Rachel Hollis, nobody wants your tactless advice on life. You help only yourself.
I have learned so much from listening to this podcast!! I didn’t know something like this was in the world. So much free knowledge and it’s insane. The best podcast by far.
I ADORE this episode with him. The way he speaks of you in the end just warms my soul. I know you feel so blessed hearing those words from him. I had heard of John Maxwell from you and from my church, but this was my first time listening to him speak! Oh my gosh. His voice soothes me. You guys are amazing. Thank you for this awesome episode!
Im so obsessed with you Rachel. Your amazing! I just listened to your podcast with John Maxwell. This is the most amazing podcast. I got so emotional while listening to the that episode. Im so glad to be able to hear these podcast 💚 I love you
Rise is what you listen to to keep a positive outlook in your daily life.
I just recently started listening and so far I love how Rachel interviews others who inspire me just as much as she does! She has gotten me so excited in life. I love how energetic she is! She knows exactly what a woman needs to hear and I have learned a lot. If you haven’t yet go read her book. Girl, wash your face! You won’t be disappointed!
I’m soooo grateful to have found you! You have motivated me to work on me! I’ve begun a gratitude journal and am working on becoming the best version of myself! I’m starting a ladies group, tonight is our first gathering 💜. Thank you for doing what you do! Your support & motivation is just what I needed to get my butt in gear 👊🏼
Love this podcast as well as Rise Together! Also a big fan of the start today morning show on ig. You are so motivating and inspiring as well as real af! 💗💫 Can’t wait for Girl stop apologizing!!
Thank you for shutting out the nay-sayers and giving the rest of us permission to do the same. You are paving a way for us, Rachel and team! Thank you.
Rachel Hollis speaks to my soul. The way she teaches by storytelling is the way that I learn. Her podcast is filled with inspiring, motivational guests. I look forward to this podcast every week. Thanks for putting in a great podcast!!
I love Rachel Hollis. Everything she has to offer is inspirational and keeps you going no matter what your goal or life plan is! Love, love, LOVE!
Girl I am just here taking the journey with you. All your episodes bring so much value to my life. I have laughed, I have cried but mostly I’ve been motivated to be my very best self. Thank you!
It’s her openness, her curiosity, and her... yes it’s a buzz word but I don’t care... authenticity! She’s real! Her story speaks to so many and I love that she is a coach, not a cheerleader. This has helped me SO much in the way I interact with everyone, but especially my kids. For them, I might be both coach and cheerleader, but Rachel has helped me to know the difference!
Newer to the world of podcasts I feel like I am beyond blessed to have found Rachel Hollis and am completely obsessed! Motivating, healing, hilarious, filled with real life and soul. I good reminder that, I GOT DIS! Thank you for sharing your wisdom and being their for your tribe!
I love how motivating and inspiring you are Rachel. I appreciate you being raw and real. Telling it like it is and not sugarcoating things. You are the friend every girl needs in her corner. Who gives her the best advice possible while not letting her wallow in self pity. Keep doing what you are doing the world needs this 🙌.
Tough love, thought provoking and challenging. It is up to the listener to take action on the advice given.
Love all things Rachel Hollis. I don’t even own my own business, but still get amazing tips from this podcast!
Hi Rach!!!! I never really listened to Podcasts until about three weeks ago. I was listening to your morning show and you and Dave mentioned the Rise Together Podcast. So I started there and LOVED it. Now, I listen to Rise and Rise Together almost every other day. I have catching up to do. I just recently listened to your episode with Kelly about health and nutrition. It was great and very enlightening!!! Thanks for creating a show that is not only relatable but inspiring!!!!
Hollis isn’t full of any new information or ideas. She just spouts out other’s ideas and claims them as her own.
I love her! The podcast is a perfect natural extension of her book “girl, wash your face” This podcast literally gives me moments of joy and clearing to start each day with! I am So sad I will not be able to attend her yearly conference as it is sold out!
Please have a conference in NYC, I’m dying to go to one. I love this podcast and the audio book and not to forget the website. Pleaseeeee come to the city!!!!
Being someone who owns a small business, Rachel has impacted our lives in a huge way! She’s a total boss with so much real world knowledge. So grateful for this podcast!
Just love this podcast. Rachel is just your BFF that wants you to succeed in life and business. Sharing her knowledge and life experience in real time. Just freakin adore her
Lots of things we need to hear presented with humor, wit and compassion. Rachel tells it like it is, but with love behind her words to give you the strength to pick yourself up.
I’ve been listening to this podcast for about a month and I just don’t understand all the negative 1-star reviews about multi level marketing. She is not in MLM. She owned an event business, is an author, wrote a blog... I don’t buy into the MLM schemes either but her podcast has nothing to do with them. She is more about inspiring people to be their best self and chase their passion, regardless of what it is... at least that is what I get from her content. I don’t normally write reviews, but I definitely read them so I just felt that somebody needed to counter the 1-star reviews from people who probably only listened to part of a single episode. I love Rachel’s down-to-earth approach. It’s like listening to one of my best friends who loves me but won’t let me slack off and be lazy. Give her a listen!
This podcast is food for my new small business owner soul! You have introduced me to so many other sources through your podcast and now I rotate daily between listening to you guys and soaking up ALL THE KNOWLEDGE! I refuse to let my life be in control of me anymore! I am stepping up to take full control of my life and you are like a lighthouse in the dark. You are amazing and you speak truth. Which is my jam! And I freakin love it!!
Rachel and Dave’s dynamic is the best! And I love their content.
These podcasts are the best!!
Hello New Year, New Me even on the 29th day of the year. Rachel is fabulous in everything she does, but this episode alone I was able to learn how to take things to the next level. How to push things to the next gear. All I was excited about was how to create a better calendar, and so much more came out of it. I love her enjoyment of her own process. Keep going Sister. You’re doing amazing!
I 💕 the Hollis company. They have created so many products that heal my soul. I am listening to episode about wellness with Chris the soul cycle instructor. It occurred to me that I changed after Mr Trump was elected. Add in the #me too movement simultaneously. When I listen to the Rise podcast I receive a salve for these pains. AND, I learn how to change myself first. So I can change the world next. I thank the Rise podcast for my joyful metamorphosis. New Year, new you has definitely happened for me. I should say New year, New Fearless Life. Much love, From a woman who wears all of the hats-mom, wife, friend, Business owner (local Austinite), part time neonatal nurse.
Rachel Hollis provides true insights into building a successful life, digestable and actionable wisdom to ponder, and inspiring conversation with today's best thought-leaders, all in a super relaxed and relatable way. I am a big fan, I am very grateful, and I am looking forward to seeing her and her family continue to meet success and live their dream life. -Sara Muender of The Mama Miracle
I’m sad to read some of the bad reviews because I am someone who has seen and listened to SOOO many motivational people. She does understand how to motivate and gives you great pieces to grapple with and reflect on. She is bold. I can see that some people want deeper, but this is absolutely great stuff too!
Muipueno muipuenprograma megusta muchisio muipueno 😂💕👌🏻😊😘👍🏻😍👈🏻👰🏻👸🏻💕👌🏻🤔😊😘
I so identify with Rachel in everything - family, trying to be my best daily, feeling motivated and wanting to be MORE. This girl is honest and caring but no holds barred. She is a truth teller!!
You are such a sweet and kind person, but please don’t tell woman to join MLM..you may have had success but you are the less than 1%. MOST people LOSE money in MLMs. Please don’t let others pay for your dream
I find Rachel to be motivating and intolerant of BS. I’m happy to have the content and access to her thoughts.
Very Inspiring and especially love the episode about nutrition and the book Body Love! ❤️
This gal puts a fire under my butt to follow my dreams. I am grateful for the Rise Together podcast where Rachel and her husband talk through real life as a couple. I am so happy about the authentic personalities and the information they give me. Thank you for being you!
I know there are millions of people that love Rachael. For whatever reason, she rubs me the wrong way— maybe it’s my issue and problem ... but I was hoping after reading girl wash your face I would like the podcast better. I picked the weight loss episode to listen to... maybe I should’ve chose another one.
Note to Apple: Please replace the default review shown for this podcast; it is completely uninformed and certainly not reflective of what Rachel Hollis delivers every time she addresses her tribe. Replace it with mine, replace it with someone else’s, but please let that not be the first and only review displayed on her podcast’s page. It’s a TRAVESTY. Now for my review: Rachel Hollis changed my life. And this podcast gives me value-added ideas, guidance to navigate with more confidence and less apology. To be more of me and less of what I’m expected to be. From her own insights, to those gleaned from interviews that are really more like amazing conversations that you feel like you are part of... This podcast has ALL THE THINGS. And gives them to its audience. EVERY DAY. It’s life. 💖
I listen to RISE podcast every week on my way to work. I work a dead end 9-5 and this podcast GIVES ME FREAKIN LIFE some days be more dedicated towards working for my future, my dreams, how I’m currently creating them and what I can turn them into while learning from the best women in business right now. There’s not an episode that I have skipped over or tried to skip through, I’ve learned something new every interview and appreciate all the content. Love you Rach!
I seriously CANNOT believe some of the reviews I just read here. Rachel is the bomb.com and is the opposite of self centered. She encourages positive work habits, goal setting, relationship advice, being confident and even asking for help from others. I love her and everything she does. Keep it up girlfriend. You are making me a better happier boss lady, mom and wife every time I watch your insta or listen to your podcasts.
This was spot on! 🙌🙌👏👏👍👍💪💪💯‼️We have to find it in ourselves to live the life we want and desire!! Time to realize this is our life to live. We have to determine why and how we use social media! If it creates negativity, than get rid of it! Get rid of things that cause stress to your life! Live life to your standards, not other people’s standards! Thanks for you inspiration and motivation!
Thank you so much for speaking truth. Not only in this podcast but in all of them. For being real and genuine with your audience. It shows! So many times you have brought me to tears, made me get up and dance, and “coached” me out of my survival mode way of living into a glorious new way of living and have ultimately helped me think outside the box daily, giving me a fresh perspective of what it means to be the best version of myself. It is indeed a journey, and I am understanding that God has gifted me and wants me to take responsibility for my life! I am made for more. Thank you so much for all your work. I am looking forward to more podcasts and your next book!
Real world advice from a no-fuss relatable host. LOVE this!
This podcast has been a go-to in my personal growth. Forever a fan because her words have given so many people (particularly women) the motivation, grit, and grace to change their lives.
I love Rachel! I just love how free and how real she is to her listeners!! To all the haters out here making rude comments... GIRL WASH YOUR FACE!
As soon as I finished “Girl Wash Your Face” I binge-listened to all of these episodes! I could listen to it all day long! I listen to it while I’m cleaning the house or cooking! I highly recommend this podcast to keep you motivated!
I started out following you on IG and you really peaked my interest. I have been struggling a bit to build my blog and I just found you so inspirational. I decided to listen to the podcast as see what you had to offer and I just loved it from day one. You are so real and I can just relate to what your saying. Finally after listening to Girl, Wash Your Face on Audible well I am just a fan for life. I tell everyone about you and share your book and podcast all the time! You are just amazing!!!
Thank you for re-sparking the fire in my soul. I listen to your podcast all the time! You are phenomenal! Even if I don’t always like something you support or say doesn’t make you a bad coach. We are entitled to our own opinions! And you inspire me every time I listen to you!
I have to say this podcast is by far the most real and raw look into ourselves and also to goals, and getting into the gritty part of ourselves and where we want to be. I love racheal and dave for the day to day info that sometimes is really well stuff maybe we don't want to talk about don't want to admit. Girl wash your face is hitting the nail on the head and i have to say i also loved the party girl series....hands down a good listen and ladies this is a good go to for building up our selves and each other! Thanks Racheal ! Keep bringing it and keeping it real! - Bobbie H .
