Ivory Coast and Ghana have added a premium to the cocoa price to boost farmers' incomes. The countries produce around two thirds of the world's cocoa, and Michel Arrion, executive director at the International Cocoa Organisation in Abidjan explains how the so-called Living Income Differential is expected to work. Becky Forecast of the Fair Trade Foundation tells us it's too early to tell whether the change will increase the price of chocolate for consumers. And Ivorian cocoa farmer Kohi Amie discusses the impact the cocoa premium will have on his life. Also in the programme, California has passed a law mandating public companies headquartered in the state to have at least one board member from an underrepresented community by the end of 2021, with a further increase the following year.
